I have been in the hotel business in the front office and night audit for several 3 and 4 star hotels for many years and am very critical about attitude and performance hotel staff in general. We stayed for one night only but that was enough.The clerk that checked us in had left her smile home but okay, she did her job, checking in. I had asked for […] a higher floor room so Rm 421 seemed to be okay. It has interconnecting doors with Rm 423. But boy, did I found out how thin those walls are. A couple that came in (or back) at 3.30am were extremely noisy and kept it going for a few hours. So our sleep was over for the night. As it was only for one night, I kept my quiet, but wondered if they have no security that checks the floors once in a while. For the rest, we were too short in the hotel to have an opinion. The smell of carpet deodorizer in the hall was noxious - carpet should be replaced. Room was too dim & needed a ceiling light. Housekeeping missed cleaning our room, but towels & cups were brought when requested. Bed was comfortable, fridge was cold & quiet, and room was spacious. Near to Strip.... and all most all big casinos.... BAR is costly... good for sort periods... I took the studio.. it was quite comfortable.. since i spent more time on Strip.... Very good by price ... you can enjoy its whole day pool side and bar (little expensive)... I like it .. I may book again... Have a good trip my friends!!!

Booked this room back in January for EDC 2012 weekend. I wanted to stay near the strip (so we could get to our shuttle to get to the speedway), but didn't want to compromise comfort or safety - without paying strip prices. The reviews were iffy and friends we knew that lived in Vegas told us that this area was sketchy. I'm semi picky about where I stay. […] I don't expect to stay in a 5 star hotel, but I don't want to stay in a low budget motel either. Couldn't ask for a better stay at the price we paid for 3-days during EDC weekend. Room was tiny but comfortable. We had the queen bed plus murphy bed. Our room also had a mini fridge and microwave, which definitely came in handy for drinks and junk food! We didn't have cleaning service, which did suck, because by Monday we had at least 4 bags of trash (that we had to stash in the closet to keep out of the way). But it isn't a big deal. I figured the stay would be terrible as it seemed to be a huge party hotel (most the guests seemed to be EDC participants). But by the time we got back to our room each night / morning, it was relatively quiet. A/C worked great. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I would definitely stay here again. And the strip is literally half a block away. We walked to the Venetian to eat at Grand Lux Cafe. A lot within walking distance, and you have a Walgreens right across the street. Area was not as sketchy as people made it sound. As 3 females, we all felt perfectly fine walking around ourselves. Read more

The room was clean and comforable. And I got the room at a reasonable price but, I was displeased with the fact that the resort is a time-share resort, not a hotel. Because we do not own in the timeshare, they will not come clean your room unless you book for 7 days or more. And even with that, they will not come until the 4th day. Since we only booked […] for 3 days, they never cleaned our room. I had to request for them to come and empty the waste baskets. There was nothing stating this on Expedia, nor did they inform us when we checked in. We found out about this when we got back into our room at 11:30 pm and saw that the bed was unmade and wet towels were still in the bathroom. They did bring up fresh towels, at our request. We made sure that towels were hung up so they would dry for the next couple of days. It wasn't horrible but, I was on vacation. I like to be pampered when I am on vacation. Also, even though I paid at the time of reserving the room, they insisted on taking my credit card for $100 "deposit", which they released at the end of my stay. Beware, if you use a debit card, it can take up to 7 days for the funds to be released. I had them contact my bank, while I was standing there, to ask them to release it immediately. Read more

The hotel, while not located on the strip, is very close. The room was very clean and well appointed, just not as fancy as the ones on the strip. Very quiet at night, comfortable bed, and large room all made for a nice place to stay. Easy to access the casinos, just drive down Paradise Rd. and avoid the L V boulevard traffic. Generally, this hotel was good for the price. However, there is a DJ operating on Saturday night until 4am. Was impressed with how quickly we were moved to a smoking room but didn't realize that each room had an adjoining door to the next room. It was almost like there was no door at all. Quickly learned how to stuff a towel under all the doors and keep the fan running so I couldn't hear noise. A big plus was the two bathrooms so my girlfriend and I had privacy. The rooms were clean. The staff were courteous and prompt. The pool was clean and you do not have to pay for a cabana. Another reason why we […] stayed at this resort was the fact that they do not charge a resort fee. Most hotels on the strip charge at least $20.00 a day in resort fees. The location is a short walk about 1 1/2 blocks to the strip where you can catch a bus or just walk down the strip. Hotel was nice and clean room was comfortable. The last night i stayed a band was playing downstairs i was lucky enough to be in a room at the other end away from the band but i could still hear them didn't bother me but if i was closer i probably would not be happy.
