Stopped through on way to another location. Great off the highway location, but think i would still stay if visiting lafeyatte. Very friendly service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
From the time I walked in the hotel I was met with smiles and amazing service. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that don't compare in service. Will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what we were promised"
We booked a room with 2 queens and a pull out with hotels.com and when we arrived we received a room with only 2 queens. Upon arrival, we were told that this property didn't even have rooms with a pull out sofa. Needless to say, it was uncomfortable for all 5 of us to fit along with our dog. Otherwise, the hotel, breakfast, and service were good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Absolutely my favorite from now on!"
Drury Inn is hands down my favorite hotel! Not only do you get free hot breakfast, but you get a full hot dinner (chicken fingers, salad, baked potatoes, hot dogs, nachos, carrots, celery and more), AND free alcoholic beverages! And this is EVERYDAY, not just Monday through Thursday as you would find at some other hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay with honest staff"
My husband and I called the night before our arrival and still were able to get a room. We were only there for one night for a concert and loved the free 3 drinks for happy hour and free dinner and breakfast! We checked out on Saturday morning and when we got home that evening he realized he left a brand new polo shirt...so we called and they told us […] they would look for it and let us know, we got a call Sunday morning saying they had the shirt and sent it out overnight delivery on Monday and we had it Tuesday morning! That's complete honesty and loyalty to your customers! And even better the hotel is owned by 2 American brothers! We will be staying at this chain of hotels more often and have told our friends and family the same! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Snacks and mini happy hour drinks"
We love the evening snacks! Staffs were excellent workers. Definetly will come back again! I love the "happy hour" drink in the evening.Genuine Expedia guest review
Over five years I have stayed their six different times, great staff one of the better breakfasts. Facility is well maintained with great staff!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
There is a street light directly outside the window. Maybe darker curtians would keep the light out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was our third stay at this hotel, first time we stayed with a pet. Best room we have had here, but the worst bed. Usually the kitchen staff is excellent, but the morning we were leaving it seemed as everything ran out at the same time, and the kitchen person could not have moved any slower. This was the only part of our stay I had issues with.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Drury Inn & Suite Hotel Lafyette, Louisiana"
The hotel was centrally located and close to the the LSU Stadium, easily accessible from the interstate. The staff was friendly and helpful. Included was a Free snack buffet in the evening which included 3 adult beverages and a Free hot breakfast in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
wonderful stay - wonderful people!! love it and will stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were in town for a wedding. The hotel was conviently located, the staff was wonderful and very friendly, the room and linens were fine. The only complaint I had was there was a very slight, strange smell in the lobby. I'm guessing it's the deodorizer. Our room on the non-smoking floor was fine and smelled clean. Breakfast was really tasty, not like […] hotel breakfasts that usually have no flavor, and the cook staff were very pleasant. We would stay there again if we were in town. Great location - right off I-10. Serve a pleasant little happy hour and breakfast, also. Front desk was efficient. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very friendly staff"
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The hotel lobby and room were both very clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were very satisfied with the hotel. Our only negative was that there was no one behind the counter when we arrived and when we were checking out. Otherwise, the employees were very nice and friendly, the food was excellent, the room and accommodations were clean and spacious, we liked having a refrigerator in the room, we never heard noises from […] other rooms and the beds were very comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
They need more ice machines. Otherwise - excellent hotel. Breakfast was a nice amenity.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy in a couple of ways."
Staff was very friendly. Our room was clean and very comfortable. What puts this Drury Inn ahead of most other hotel chains, is the complimentary dinner served from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. If one choses not to take advantage of the dinner, there is a Cracker Barrel adjacent to the hotel parking lot. The hotel is just off Intersate 10, and on and off access […] is very easy. We will stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Poor Service ,Poor Cleanliness!!"
07/19/14 Roxana G Cypress, Texas
OK!!, I have to be fair some of the Staff are pleasant ,but when you spend more than 2 days and this location ,then you see that the way they provide cleaning service is not what you paying for ,not just only that when I asked at the front desk if my room could be vacuum at least, since all they did is made the bed and remove trash the Housekeeper show up at my door and giving me almost attitude because I asked her to do so!! also the gym the laundry are pretty much below poor cleanliness is well, as a constructive criticism ,most of their stay need a big improvement in Customer Service Skills .
"Great relaxing stay!"

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with children! Pet friendly with easy access to grassy areas. There was a free evening buffet being served as we checked in and a great breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
"Nice place to stay"
06/30/14 behrens1 Denton
We stayed here for one night on our way from Denton to New Orleans. The location is very good and the hotel is excellent. The reception is pretty and open; food and an almost full bar is complementary from 5:30-7:00 nightly. The night we were there, here is what was available: hotdogs, baked potatoes, salad, nachos, meat balls, penne pasta in marinara sauce, popcorn . . . plenty of choices for a light meal. Drinks were beer, margaritas, martinis, and several other fruity drinks . . . soft drinks for the kids. In the morning, a nice assortment of breakfast items were available . . . scrambled eggs, sausage patties, gravy, biscuits, toast, muffins, pastry, yogurt, waffels, cereals, and juices. We had room 312, a large room with two queen (comfy) beds, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee service, free wifi, big TV with plenty of channels. The sink and dressing table was outside of the bathroom, which is always a plus when you have four in a room! The hotel is spotlessly clean and appears to be new. There was a large pool which the kids enjoyed and we enjoyed sitting in the shade with our drinks. ☺ We found nothing to complain about, everything was very good and all employees were friendly. What more can you want! Sandy (in Denton)
"Many Reviewers Can't Be Wrong!"
06/22/14 cajunfly4 Lockport, Louisiana
We were having an overnighter in Lafayette, and checked out reviews before selecting a hotel. After seeing so many positive reviews, we decided on The Drury Inn and Suites. We arrived about an hour early, and since our room was not ready, the young lady at the desk (Taylor) offered us some fresh popcorn. We thanked her, but did not take any at that time. Another lady (Shari Weber, the General Manager) asked if we were waiting for a room. When we said yes, she offered us some homemade ice cream that she had made for her team (made by HER using fresh ingredients). It was delicious. The rooms were clean and fresh and the entire atmosphere of the hotel was positive and friendly. Although there were several traveling baseball teams and their families as guests, everyone was respectful and despite there being so much energy and excitement from the kids and their families, they were not loud or unruly. Everyone was simply having fun. Their happiness was contagious. I did read some reviews saying the walls were paper thin; however, the walls felt solid to us (yes, we checked), and despite the hotel being totally booked, we could not hear any noise coming from other rooms. There is a Kickback (Happy Hour) from 5:30 - 7 pm where each guest over 21 gets a voucher for three free adult beverages. There is also what the hotel refers to as a "hot snack," but is so filling that it served as supper. In fact, we opted out of breakfast the next morning. Overall, everyone was friendly, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the food was great. This is an excellent choice is you are looking for a great hotel.
"Most awesome customer service ever!!"
05/28/14 Robert B Louisville, Kentucky, United States
I am not sure if it is in the water, the food, the air or all of the above, but this was absolutely the b est hotel I have ever stayed at within the United States. The staff was exactly what a person in the south should expect. Courteous, happy, sincere, genuine, caring, helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Absolutely the best hotel in the chain! I will definitely stay here again if I return to the area.
"It's the staff that make me a repeat customer."
05/22/14 Mark H
I have been staying at this particular hotel for approximately 5 years. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. If you go, say hello to Ms. Jackie. She is the sweet lady that will probably feed you dinner(they call it a snack but quite filling and several options) and breakfast. The regular room is a little cramped, although it has all the necessary items found in a hotel this price. If you can and there is availability, I recommend upgrading to a suite. This is a pet friendly hotel. Overall, it isn't fantastic, but the staff makes it "homelike" and that means a lot when you are on the road a lot.

I always try to stay at a Drury due to traveling with my cat on a weekly basis. This location far exceeds the normal level of friendliness. One employee by the name of Theresa really brightened people's morning by talking to them in the breakfast and front desk area. Other employees, whom I did not get names unfortunately, were extremely polite as well. It is nice to see smiling faces! Thank you for that, you all sure made my day ... oh and my cat's day as well :)
"Good Hotel for Travel or Business"
05/12/14 G1obeTrotter1 Dallas, Texas
Husband & I stayed there for two nights while visiting Lafayette. The hotel location is OK, but not terrific. It's on the edge of a questionable area & although faced the highway, not accessible from the highway access road. It was overall clean inside & out. Comfortable, quiet room. If you're into happy hours, they have one nightly with wine, beer & liquor with a complimentary food bar. One glitch is smelling popcorn in the lobby all the time :/
"Nice Hotel if you are Noise resistent"
04/27/14 BerlinerTraveller Berlin
The Hotel room is big and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The free Wifi works perfect. The free Dinner and also Breakfast is good. The employees friendly. The small pool clean. BUT: The Hotel is located right beside a big highway and the Window is pretty useless to reduce the noise. You get the impression, that the trucks drive straight through your room. Another issue are the doors, which have a big gab (at least 1 inch) at the bottom so you can hear everything whats going on in the hall including the permanent bingbing of the lifts. It was very hard to find some sleep (even with earplugs). The location is about 3 miles away from downtown of Lafayette. There are no supermarkets or restaurants close by (only petrolstations). I would definitly not stay here again.
"Very good stay in LaFayette"
04/25/14 Journeyproud55 San Antonio, Texas
My husband and I stayed at the Dury Inn and Suites this past week. Shannon checked us in and she could not have been more helpful or kinder. All of the staff and security personnel we met were courteous and efficient. The room was spacious and clean and there was no bad odor. Heating / cooling system worked very well with the season changing weather we are having - both warm and cool needed. The breakfast buffet was adequate and kept freshened. Check out was easy and the parking is free. The location isn't far from downtown for sightseeing.
