Did a one night getaway with the Mister and he booked this quickly, as it was within our budget and available. Interestingly, though, we got the last king room, and it was accessible (which I didn't know), so imagine the proprietor's surprise (and mine!) when we arrived to check in. The hotel is certainly older, and right off the freeway. We were right […] off the lobby -- the hotel itself was fairly quiet, but the road noise was highly distracting, as were the blindingly bright lights from the car lot next door. We were both thankful to have remembered our sleep masks. The television was incredibly old and reception fuzzy; the bed was decent but nothing to write home about. We skipped the continental breakfast the next morning--my husband reported that it was in an incredibly small room and "people were acting like vultures." Under normal circumstances, we'd likely add a few more dollars to the budget and stay elsewhere next time. Read more

I tried to check in early @ 10:30am..attendant was trying her best to get me into a room but computer would not allow. Phone rings...the mgr. could hear our conversation..says $10 will get you a room early. I declined. the hotel did not look that busy...one can usually tell if there were a lot of rooms vacated. returned 8pm....12 cars in parking lot […] Friday night. All I can figure out is my room had been updated with new vanity counter top, mirror and paint and they must have wanted me to be in an updated room as opposed to an non-updated. Room clean but no microwave or frige. One bug around sink when lights turned on. The "free" breakfast was a laughing matter...rolls & muffins store baught in bulk and looked old, toast and cereal...you can tell this ownership is very cheap. If you can handle the minimums, place to sleep & shower, you are OK here but nothing else. Read more

Overall, just an average economy hotel. Room was reasonable and maintenance was a bit above average for other economy hotels in the area. We are building a house in New Braunfels so we have stayed in quite a few! Only complaint - our unit faced the highway and the air conditioner fan would not stay on to provide constant white noise. Check in staff was great. The room was not cleaned to my satisfaction. The ash trays were never cleaned except by myself. The overall room and clean and the bed was fine. Shower was clean and staff was very nice.

room was clean, staff was friendly, shower head came up to my shoulders.... laughable at best(i'm only 5'9), tv barely worked and had some definite color issues. there was trash on the walk ways, and 18 wheelers parked in the lots along with several trashy apartment complex's surrounding the perimeter.

Stayed just one night for an event in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. It does not have a microwave or refrigerator, which would be useful for a longer stay.

This hotel is fine. I was only there one night but it was clean and quiet. Breakfast was over too early (9 on a saturday) for us to take advantage of. The rate was high for this level of hotel, but it was during Wurstfest so you pay the rate and be glad for a room. I would stay again but would rather pay less.

i thought the room was good. I was in the smoking room area and unfortunately I could smell the cigarette smoke through the walls but that is what I get for picking a smoking room. Could always use a small fridge in these rooms.

The room was clean and nice but it did not have a coffee pot in the room like the description in the ad. The pool was already closed even though it was well above 95 degrees. There was one vending machine which was out of order. The continental breakfast area was small and required that food be eaten in that area only. The hotel was a place to sleep. The back wing was quiet and reasonably comfortable. Minimal amenities. Hotel is starting to show it's age. Less than 10 minute drive from Schlitterbahn.

Room was neat and fairly clean. It did not have bag for dirty laundry. Although I had a reservation through Expedia and paid for it already, I was required to allow the clerk to photocopy my drivers license and credit card. If I wouldnt have had to pay for the room if I canceled, I would have left. I am not comfortable with such requirement.
