It was a very nice and clean hotel. It was close to the fort and the bridge. We were able to ride our bikes to see them. We sould go back.

My stay was very good. Hotel is very close to Shepler Ferry, it is walkable distance. Best thing free Breakfast, free Parking.One of the best thing I like despite of check in time 4 PMN, they offered me at 1.30 PM without any additional charge.Best for Indian Community , very close to bridge , walkable distance

Our room was quite small and could have used some updating, but overall it was nice. My biggest room complaint was the size of the shower/tub. Even at 5'4 and petite, it was a tight fit for me. The front desk service was top notch and the continental breakfast was filling.

I don't think so. Our room had a bedroom with a door and another room for a sitting area. The bedroom was a good size but the sitting area was very small. I would have stayed St. Ignace but the room I wanted was not available.

The room was perfect! Away from the main tourist area a real plus. Right next to the entrance to the bridge made for some semi noise in the early morning but worth that little noise. We'll ask for this specific room again!

We paid too much money for what we got at this hotel. The pool was decent, but the bathroom in our room was dirty. The valance on the front window was see through, with no curtain. Dissatisfied with my stay. I felt I was treated differently because I booked on expedia..and they read that kn the computer as I checked in. I had a room without a window that made it feel uncomfortable. I feel they gave me a cheap room cause of the deal I revieved online. If you just want a cheap place to stay and are willing to suck it up for a night this is your place. It's a nice location but next time I'd look for a hotel that has a deal with a ferry. One complaint I did have was the walls are paper thin you hear the people in the next room.

Our room had a bunch of issues: fire detector/sprinkler system was falling out of drywall; door lock didn't work; sink was cracked right down the middle; blanket had cigarette burns and bedspread had stains (!!!); bathroom floor had dirt in corners and behind door. All I can say is yuck. Breakfast was mediocre - powdered eggs. Milk ran out 10 minutes […] before the scheduled end of breakfast and we were told there wasn't any more (come on!) People were friendly, room was clean and area grounds were well kept. Had a nice hot breakfast too. Only complaint I have was that the phones weren't operational and wi-fi was down the entire 24 hours we were there. But I don't blame the staff as these things happen. Would stay again though.

The hotel is a 1960's experience. It's rooms are from that era with the bathroom that is barely big enough to turn around in and beds that are double size with springs so old and bad its like sleeping in a hammock. Every aspect of the hotel screams cheap from threadbare carpeting to the "breakfast area" that is so small and dark that with five people […] in it at one time it is so overcrowded that you are getting in each others way. The management is so concerned with controlling costs that it had only two people cleaning rooms at the peak of the tourist season. As a result our room didn't get cleaned until 8:30 at night. No window in room, dirty, parking is a pain, close to nothing except highway noise. I will never stay there again or another in this chain. I keep expecting a better stay from Days Inn. I either need to expect less or stop staying there, I choose the later.

The staff was very friendly. The room AC was noisy and kept us awake until we were exhausted. We found a very wet area in front of the bath room door. I reported this to the clerk immediately and they said they would report this to the maintenance people - the next day. I just got extra towels from them and covered it. An adult and 3 kids in the room […] - they had the room prepped for 3 people. More towels would have been nice- but it seemed like too much work. The hotel could be much nicer if they paid more attention to keeping the rooms supplied and clean. Check for basic problems and deal with them BEFORE letting the rooms to guests. Read more

We have stayed here before but this time we were very disappointed and will not go back. Most of the staff members had only been there a week and didn't have a clue. maid service was non-existent and what there was you had to ask for! Rooms went unmaid and dirty, no towels or extras ever replaced.Very sad! We checked out early.

I am sorry to tell you that i would not recommend this hotel to anyone because of the cleaniness of the rooms, the lights has dust and cob webs all over and there was dirt under the dresser. There was two springs broke on the bed towards the window and it was way to hot in the room and we could not cool it off at all because we had the window wide open […] and then there was more dirt and cob webs on the screen. Not a bad hotel if you just plan on sleeping. It has outdated amenities like yellow toilet, tub and sink. The room is very small too. You can barely close the bathroom door because it is so small. The vanity is open to the room. If you need privacy you'll have to dress/undress in the tiny bath area. The pictures of the outside online are quite nice […] but I think they just gave the outside a facelift. It was clean although. We were just travelling through Mackinaw and needed a place to stay just for the night. This place had mixed reviews, but we figured that it couldn't be all that bad just as a place to sleep. It was. Despite the fixed up exterior, the room looked like ones I had stayed at for spring break years ago and the bed was at least that old. Barely slept because […] the mattress was the WORST I had ever been on. Finding other people's hair in the shower was just the icing on the cake. TERRIBLE. The front desk staff were nice and the place is pet friendly, but it's just too bad the things that really matter (the cleanliness and comfort of the room) were an afterthought. Never again!
