Great shuttle experience. room could use a update. Brighten it up. And needs some upkeep type work. Like grout around bathtub. Was told within walking distance of beach. But its a bit farther than I wanted to walk. But you can walk. Overall I cant complain with the rate I paid. Good for overnight stay before leaving on a cruise.Not a long time stay hotel.

Within walking distance of several good resturants.Also walgreens drug store. Very good experience with shuttle service to and from airport and port everglades.Was told it was in walking distance of the beach. You can walk but its quite a long walk. Continental breakfast wasn't bad. Was all I needed. Felt like hotel was clean but could use some up keep work done. Like grout around bath tub. Changing bedspreads and curtains to a more brighter and up to date pattern would improve the overall look of the room. Would stay again if going on cruise.Not a bad price.

Rude family run operation, very sketchy staff. Room was non-smoking but stank of stale ash tray and there were burns everywhere. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly. On the up side it was convenient to Ft. Lauderdale, so if you just need a dirty place to lay your head, risk it.

I rented this hotel because they claim to have a free shuttle service to and from the airport however after calling several times the shuttle never showed up..so I had to pay a taxi which cost $18.00. Then the manager said he could not re-reimburse me ...to make matters worse he said he could not take me to the airport for my early flight which cost me another $18.00 taxi fare...I felt ripped off....never booking with super 8 hotel again service sucks and they dont deliver.

The owner was very nice, and upgraded me to a suite for no charge. The bed was comfortable enough, and the area was clean. The only problem is that it was a little humid in the room, making it feel like it was maybe a little moldy (even though i saw no sign of that anywhere).

The cleaning staff was very rude and the rooms smelled like mildew, and also in one of the rooms the refrigerator and microwave did not work. I didn't complain about that because the other room had working appliances.

We used this hotel for 1 night before a cruise. It was perfect for what we needed. It was cheap, clean, and they had a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and a free shuttle from the hotel to the cruise port in the morning.

This is my second stay at the Super 8 in Dania , each stay has been both worth the money, the rooms are clean , comfortable. The staff are excellent from the driver from the airport to the front desk and the maid. Just 5 minutes from ft Lauderdale airport . I'll be back

Airport shuttle pick up service was prompt. The Shuttle was clean, spacious and well air-conditioned. The same thing, the shuttle dropped us at the seaport early enough so we were able to avoid the big crowd. The hotel generally and the room were clean and well air-conditioned. We were impressed with the continental breakfast. The best motel breakfast we've had. We will definitely stay in this motel again.

It was stated on their information and when we called the hotel about transport to Miami. Expedia even called and confirmed about it before we reserved. They said Expedia was lairs and would not work with us on this at all. We stayed there after our cruise and they made us leave early to airport not allowing us to have time to do anything the next day. They were rude and refused to work with our schedule. Not in a good area and not much around to go to but a few restaurants. This is not a place I would ever consider again.

At this hotel, there are no places to eat within 1/2 miles. The bathroom has no item to assist getting in and out of bathtub. The air conditioner was not efficient enough to cool the room. Pillows were small and flimsy.

We were told that when we booked that a shuttle would pick us up at airport if we called before midnight. They informed us that service stopped at 1100 pm. Cost us 70 dollars to get to hotel. Feel we were misinformed.

Requested a Non-Smoking Room-they are not guaranteed, did not get one. Room was musty smelling. Clothes smelled musty the next day, not nice. Only stayed one night as we left on a cruise the next day.

Good hotel for a short stay. Not much around if you are planning on being there for long. There are a couple of convenience stores within a couple of blocks and a KFC and Checkers burger, also. The hotel offered a free shuttle from the airport and to the Cruise dock which is very helpful.

Wow! Mandatory positive: Free shuttle to/from airport. That's all I've got. The neighborhood is super sketchy, it's an incredible long walk to any food, and the free breakfast is a great way to spin a bag of bagels. It worked for a chape place to stay prior to our cruise ship leaving. However, I would never, ever, stay here again.

Mrs. Patel at the front desk was quite rude upon our arrival and check-in. She charged us an extra $10 for the 3rd person who was already included in our reservation and would not justify the charge. After giving up on arguing with her since we came from a full-day of traveling we agreed to pay it and deal with it the next morning, she said she would not take any of our credit cards and only cash. This was very fishy. I called hotels.com who I had booked this hotel through and they settled the situation with Mrs. Patel. That is when she took our credit card for the "charge". We did not even receive a receipt for what the charge entailed. Hated the service and was disgusted by the Mrs. Patel's attitude toward paying guests.

I just stayed here the night before catching a flight, it was ok, nothing super special. The beds were comfy, but there was a T-shirt size sticker on the bathroom mirror, which made me curious how well it was cleaned. The coffee maker still had water in it from the last person, and didn't look especially clean. We signed up for the 7am shuttle to the airport(shuttles are every hour but you have to sign up in advance). At 6:50am we got a call from the front desk asking us if we were still taking the shuttle(we were walking out the door). As soon as we were in sight of the office the shuttle driver ran out of the office and waved us to the van, no time to grab breakfast even though we were early. He must have been a rush, we where the only ones riding the 7am shuttle. It was a very short ride to the airport, less than 10mins. The shuttle has a sign saying the driver works for tips, if I were to go again, I might be tempted to take a taxi instead...

so i was going on a cruise the next day and for the money I paid to stay here it was well worth it. of course it was no 5 star hotel but for 1 night it was okay. one thing I loved was it is only 11 min away from the hard rock casino and hotel so that was a very nice plus. Would I stay here again yes I think I would. great staff very helpful and friendly and the free shuttle service was nice too.

I don't normally stay at a place like this but with a "free" shuttle from air port and to the Port Everglades hey I will try it. They will take you to the airport no problem but the port at 6 am? Battle Royal! Don't bother unless you like a head ache.

The hotel is just ok. It is in a shady neighborhood. If you have a car it is easy to go anywhere. But for the same price I was able to move to the extended stay and have a much more comfortable stay. My friend and I arrive late the day prior and had a ride there from airport and we left the next day. We checked out later than expected but the hotel was not fully booked and they wanted to charge me an extra day. The phone didnt even work for us to talk to office staff while we repacked. The housekeeper came and checked on us and she saw the phone didnt work. She returned down and shortly after we came down and asked for the shuttle. It was shortly after 1pm. The driver was upset w us and the staff was abrasive. But it was all sorted out and we were shuttled back to airport for our departure flights. The businesses nearby are ok for food and such. but it just isnt the best place to stay near airport. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our trip to and from puerto rico from CA.

Unpleasant stay. The front desk attendant made us feel so unwelcome that we skipped continental breakfast the whole week. I could have had a better stay at Ramada for the same price. Rooms were clean and location is good.
