Captains Quarters Motel & Conference Center

The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are motel style and nothing special. Clean enough, cool enough, pretty quiet. The place is between the main drag and the bike path. It's not especially near anything, but the other motels and hotels are situated in similar spots. Breakfast is adequate, but nothing special: Boxed pastry, bread, cereal, coffee […] and juice. On the second morning, we brought our own yogurt. Although this review sounds luke-warm, I find this place a perfect choice compared with the much more expensive places in the area that are not significantly nicer. I will likely return there next year. Also, there were a number of large families that were using multiple rooms that seemed to be having a blast! There is also a conference or social room. So I could imagine a big family reunion or mini-conference setting up here. Read more

Room was very clean and had a refrigerator. If you asked, they would bring you a coffee maker and microwave. They have a great complimentry breakfast with bagels, cream cheese, white and wheat toast, cereals and mini muffins. Coffee and 3 kinds of juice. The coffee and juice is available all day. All in all, a pleasant stay.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. We had never been to the Cape before and so we had no reference point for where to stay. We literally thought that it was affordable enough so we booked it figuring it would be a place to sleep. Captains Quarters is a good motel for anyone. I travelled alone and I felt safe and comfortable. It was perfect for my needs and was a very good value. The manager, Helen, is very accomodating and helpful with things to do in the area. I had planned to go on a whale watch and she called the place for the times available. But if there was something I really needed to find, I could use the computer that was set up in the breakfast room. Stayed here for a night for a weekend getaway on the outer Cape. Rooms were clean... beds were pretty comfortable... rooms themselves were a little worn around the edges but nothing that I would consider to be the result of anything but being a little old. The bathroom was big, the water was hot, the staff at the front desk was very nice. It was nice […] that the placer was pet friendly so we could have our dog with us. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that... It still was off-season when we went so the pool was not open. Overall, the room was spacious, clean, if a little outdated. I arrived at about 9:45PM and no one was at the front desk, but my key was in an envelope hanging on the door. No opportunity to speak with staff. Complimentary breakfast was adequate, room was noisy from juice machines, refrigerators.

The Captains Quarters was a beautiful and friendly stay only 20 mins from the cape and a brief walk to the beach. The staff was welcoming and convivial. The room was recently decorated and extremely clean. For its location and amenities the price was very economical. I will definitely go back!

This was a great hotel to stay in in Eastham. I was shooting a film in Provincetown that week and although it was 20 miles from location, the drive after shooting was a great de-stresser. The Proprietress was and is AWESOME!

A perfectly good motel, but not much distinguishes it from the cheaper motels in the Yarmouth/Hyannis area except it's location. I stayed here because I wanted to visit several locations at the National Seashore and it's much closer so it was worth paying a little extra for me. Room was fine, not quite enough lighting in bathroom and outdated locks […] but it was clean and had a mini fridge. Management and staff extremely friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful biking/walking trail right by the motel, which we took full advanage of during our stay. The motel is older, but kept very clean, and has a nice continental breakfast.

Bath room shower head was very bad, just sparying the water like nozzle. . Seems to be reusing the towels without clealing them properly. Beds were very low quality. Our stay at Captain's Quarter's was very nice. The service and owner were exceptionall nice. The continental breakfast was okay - would have like homemade waffles! The rooms were clean, although they did seem to lack some needed maintenance such as the toliet was "loosely" attached to the wall and the shower head was not adjustable which made it difficult […] for my tall husband to take a shower. The location of this motel was exceptional. Right near many restaurants (very tasty ones) and just around the corner from Nauset Light House and Nauset Beach. Also, P-town was only a 25-30 min drive.
