This is the third time I have stayed at the Royal Scot in the past. year. Found it to be an ideal place to stay and the convenience to all amenities very handy. On my next visit to Victoria I will definitely stay here.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Executive House. I booked last minute and many places were full - so my expectations were not high. But the hotel was very centrally located. The room was clean, good sized, and well furnished. It had been updated, the linens and towels were good quality, and there was a full kitchenette. About the only complaint I had was that it's an older building with no AC. The room got a bit warm and night and we had to open the window and use a thoughtfully supplied fan. It was not too hot outside, so I can imagine it might be a bit stifling in the summertime.

"Wonderful views and quiet atmosphere"
Poets Cove is a great hotel and yacht basin. We arrived with our own boat and found both the marina and hotel excellent. It is a fine way to end a boating vacation. Dining was excellent and service good. The room is spacious and comfortable including a nice soaking tub. Great resort, awesome marina and location, amazing views, phenomenal hiking in a serene setting. Food quality was great. Highly recommend this island and the resort. Only one comment aside from the above, resort staff although friendly would benefit from some further training.

"lovely location"
my fiance planned a weekend to pender island and proposed to me at a lookout point overlooking the ocean. we stayed at poets cove and the staff and service were delightful. we had a romantic dinner to celebrate the engagement at the resort restaurant. a wonderful stay.
