We were in Ciboure for 4 nights, 5 days. The hotel staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight, and there was a great view of the bay from the terrace. Clean room, modern bathroom. We could walk to St. Jean de Luz and explore the surrounding areas easily. Would definitely stay there again and hope to return soon.

Nice large room with 2 double beds. Good linens, tons of pillows and white clean towels with air conditioning and refrigerator. While it had parking, it was quite daunting for someone not used to ramparts with a manual shift car. We decided to park in the city parking. No kettle unless you know to ask for their “courtesy tray” they give you a kettle with powder cream coffee and tea. We were right next to the elevator and it is a bit noisy.

The town center of Anglet, five kilometres north of Biarritz and three kilometres south of Bayonne, still retains its old village charm. A large commercial centre with supermarkets is one kilometre north. The town has two coastal quarters: Chiberta and Chambre d’Amour. Both have long, sandy beaches popular with surfers. The check in time is 5pm, which is the latest I have ever come across. With a 10am check out time, the 5pm check in is a bit of a joke. However, the hotel did allow us to check in at 3pm (although with a reminder by the staff that check in is at 5) as our room was ready. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and it was a good size for 4 adults. The sleeper […] sofa wasn't the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in as there was a distinct dip in the middle, but was fine for 2 nights. Location is amazing. It's just a 5-10 minute walk downhill to the beach. The staff were pleasant and spoke enough English to make the check in and check out process go smoothly. Read more

it was ok but as we arrived after 6pm there was a lack of eating facilities in the location and no info at the hotel that assisted us,we were on route to southern spain so it was not to convenient for motorway connections everything else was ok

The hotel is in a great location near the beach and the town center. I went for the surf and also hired a mountain bike out in the town. There is a nice little bar across the road from which the locals watch the sunset each evening. The swimming pools were not overcrowded. We were four guys backpacking through Europe and stayed in an apartment at maeva mar et golf during our visit in Anglet/Biarritz. The check-in went quick and easy and the staff spoke pretty good english. The location was great: close to the beach, supermarket and 10-15 min walking to Biarritz). The room itself was nice, bright, quite big and with a […] pretty big balcony. The only cons were: the lack of cleaning (ok, I know we lived in an apartment but it gets really sandy in the room and there was no proper cleaning equipment), the lack of plates, glasses etc and the fact that the reception were only open for a few hours a day. Mycke dåliga sängar = 70 cm bred, trång i våningsäng + smal dubbelbädd. När vi anlände (3 personer) fanns endast 2 stora handdukar på rummet och vi fick be om extra med kommentaren att det var exceptionell att vi fick en extra handduk. Byte av handdukar och städning lovade de skulle ske efter 5 dagar, vilket inte skedde. Dag 6 fick jag tjata mig till […] byte av sänglinnen och handdukar. Fick då också höra att hotellet krävde att vi skulle slutstäda! Detta gick inte att utläsa på Hotels.coms hemsida. Inte heller att hotellet krävde en deposition om 200 euro vid ankomst trots att hotellrummet redan var betalt.En mycket osynpatisk fransman krävde vidare att vi klockan 8.00 dagen efter vi anlänt skulle inställa oss till hans engelsktalande kollega när jag ifrågasatte hans krav. Trots att vi hade anlänt sent på kvällen tvingades jag att gå upp tidigt för att tjafsa med kollegan som visade sig var på plats hela dagen. Nous avons fait de nombreux courts séjours dans cette résidence qui est très bien située, proximité de la plage, Biarritz. Les appartements sont petits, propres, pas de rangement, mal isolés. Difficile de trouver une place de parking. Connexion internet très lente.

Les points positifs : très belle vue et studio prêt plus tôt que l'heure prévue. Les points négatifs : odeur nauséabonde dans les couloirs, peu de place de parking pour se garer, proximité d'un bar a tapas sur-bondé et bruyant le soir et une hôtesse désagréable lors du départ.

Nous avons été assez déçu par l'état du studio et le confort de la literie. Porte fenêtre qui ferme mal, équipement de la cuisine assez vieux et taché, lit double beaucoup trop ferme. Lors de notre réservation nous nous sommes assuré qu'il y avait bien la wifi dans les chambres. Hors mon mari a du aller à l'accueil pour consulter ses mails professionnels. […] A noter également que nous avons eu des voisins très bruillants durant la nuit du samedi au dimanche. Nous en avons parlé à l'accueil dès le lendemain. L'hôtesse n'a pas eu l'air surprise et nous a dit qu'il sagissait d'un groupe logés ici pour plusieurs jours et qui faisait la fête les week end ! La résidence n'étant pas au complet, il aurait été plus que judicieux de ne pas louer de studio à proximité de ces personnes. Hotel ancien ayant besoin d'un gros lifting... Prix des petits dej pas du tout en adéquation avec le buffet prposé Literie très inconfortable et pour finir isolation médiocre Si vous êtes golfeur et prêt à faire des concessions vous pouvez y aller. Pour les autres continuez à chercher sur le site...
