Located on the west coast, Patong Beach is the most popular beach in Phuket. This two-kilometre-long beach offers everything from water sports and massages to food and drinks. The nightlife selection is infinite, including the famous Soi Bangla with its numerous bars, neon lights, and night clubs; dining along cliff-side restaurants with views of the coast, or at the two Thai food courts on Rat-U-Thit Road. The beach transforms into a night bazaar nightly, packed with colourful stalls selling beach wears and leather goods.

For the price....you get what you pay for. The location was prime for a short walk to the beach, or Starbucks or the main drag. We did have a couple problems with our room such as bathroom flooded everytime we used the shower and the toilet did not work well. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a cheap room. The staff was great and took care of most of our needs.
