This hotel is very close to Hamburg's Hauptbahnhof and most other attractions in Hamburg. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see in the city. So if this is a problem for you, it probably isn't the right hotel for you. The room was spacious and clean. I like to leave the windows open and breathe natural air, so I can't comment on the heating and cooling, but I will say the street didn't produce much noise and I was able sleep without being disturbed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The television worked fine and had a good variety of channels. there was a horrible smell from the bathroom- like sewer smell. It was close to the train station and the included breakfast was decent. some of the rooms were smoking rooms. the area near the station is a bit seedy late at night.

This hotel was very clean with helpful staff. We opted for the buffet breakfast and enjoyed this very much. The hotel is a short walk from the 'sud' entrance of the main railway station. Whilst the area had a mixture of food, general retail and redlight shops, we felt very safe at all times. Would stay here again.

Room stank of smoke, windows had mildew all around, no tv remote and the curtains were merely thin rags so all the outside light came through. Bathroom was clean although pokey. Area a dump. I did not like the fact that long usernames and passwords needed to be entered for WIfi Access. Plus this was limited to one person per room. The thirty or so steps to reception are a killer and the elevator services only the in between floors so if you have alot of luggage it can be difficult.The included wireless and breakfasts make it good for a overnight stay and make it really good value in my opinion. Lots of stairs to climb though - the elevator stops only every two floors - and you have to be in good physical shape to stay here. The bathroom and shower is almost too small to turn around in. And I received no reply to emails and had to call them on the phone instead. But the friendly reception staff and the excellent breakfast made me forget any complaints I may have had. I thought the bed was comfortable, room was clean, I slept too late for breakfast so I can't comment on that. I would recommend this hotel for younger groups, but maybe not for families as it is a bit of a red light district. It is a one minute walk to the main station along a busy street and it was good value for money.

This hotel was budget at best. The room stank of smoke and was very small. The hotel staff were ok but not that friendly. The area is not that pleasant, with a lot of sex shops and prostitutes. It is close to the station though (one bonus!) Wouldn't stay here again.

Vi fik et meget billigt værelse, der viste sig at være nabo til køkken og reception. Der var meget støj natten igennem. Til gengæld var der rent og pænt og meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale, der både kunne engelsk og tysk :) billig og god morgenmad på stedet. Den nærmeste p-kælder er ret dyr og tilhører ikke hotellet.

Gatan utanför gav vid första anblicken ett sjaskigt intryck med alla sexbiografer, men de ligger mellan teatrar och affärer i ett folkligt multikultidistrikt och alldeles i närheten finns stans bästa restauranggata. 5-10 min promenad till de fina shoppingstråken. Hotell is located at the street of Staindamm, which is one of the worst street in Hamburg city center. Hotell neighbourgs are sex kinos, erotic shops and casinos. On the street you will find women who are selling them self. Hotell room is tiny and untidy. There are about 30 steps from the street level to the elevator and about 20 steps more to reach […] front desk. Elevator do not reach hotell room level. It goes on the half floor. One must take about 20 steps up or down to reach room level. Customer service in the hotell is very arrogant and unpolite. Breakfast was the worst I have ever got in a hotell. This hotell should not even be called a hotell. Pictures on webpage do not seem to be taken on this hotell or if taken they must be from the suite. I would not recomend this hotell to anyone.
