I know Liverpool very well, indeed I lived near to this Hotel for about 3 years. It looks great from the outside and has a very convenient location (in between the city centre and cathedrals). The problem is the inside. I was given a single room in the ground floor. The room was so small, so small that moving inside required juggling my stuff (and […] I travel light). Though it was a ground floor it seemed more like a basement (very small "window" in the upper part of the ceiling). It was also EXTREMELY noisy: This room was between the parking and the reception and one could hear everything (not the cars, but people passing). It was also not the most clean room that I have been in. Surely not a 4-star hotel. Actually not even a 3-star hotel. The Ibis in Liverpool is way better. Maybe in the upper floors, maybe the non-single rooms. Maybe... But for me it was a very bad experience. Read more

Stayed for a weekend. Tiny room, tiny bathroom and very warm and clammy in room. On plus side, location is excellent. 5 minute walk into city centre. But wouldn't stay again or reccommend to a friend.

The Feathers Hotel is a little tired, but convenient to the City Centre (10 minute walk) and the staff are cheerful & helpful. The hotel has a bar & restaurant and offers free drinks from 5-7pm from Sunday to Friday. We did not take advantage of this as we were out, and we were disappointed that when we got back at 10pm, hoping for a nightcap, the hotel […] bar was shut. There was no warning of this, & we expected the licensing hours to be the same as pubs in town (at least 11pm) The room we were in had 3 single beds (we had booked a twin). We were told it was bigger. However, the only window was opaque, & the room was a bit dark. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The shaving light in the bathroom did not work. To be fair, we did not give them the chance to sort it out as we were only there 1 night. The bathroom was small but adequate, & the shower (over the bath) was powerful & hot. For a 3 bed room, they only provided 2 tubes of shower gel & 1 shampoo (we did not ask for more). There was plenty of coffee, tea, milk, sugar & Biscuits, and more available in the foyer. Breakfast was included in our room rate - the usual hot buffet, cereals, toast, tea, coffee & juice. I was woken at 6.15am by very loud voices - it sounded like the staff coming on duty, & lots of banging doors. Our room was on the ground floor near to reception. Perhaps a room upstairs would have been quieter. That said, the hotel was very good value for money and I would use it again if visiting Liverpool. Read more

The location was excellent. Between the city centre and the university. Our room could have done with a refurb. Cracked tiles in the bathroom and the toilet didn't always flush. The hotel is near the University of Liverpool and Catholic cathedral, and only a short walk into the city centre. The Feathers is in a great location for theatres, restaurants and uni buildings also for shopping. A bit further to walk to the Albert Dock. Some rooms are tiny but perfectly sufficient - all rooms I've stayed in were very quiet. Free car parking on site too.

A well presented hotel with a fine mix of swish modern efficiency and charm from a bygone era. Situated in a relatively quiet location 2 minutes walk from the university (our initial destination for the evening) whilst also being within 10-15 minutes from the heart of the city's nightlife and shopping. Also extremely handy for the main line station […] (Lime Street.) Pay and display parking at the front and secure parking at the rear which cost £ 7.50 par day but was well worth it given that we were allowed to leave the car there until late afternoon on the day of check out. From check-in to leaving the staff were cheerful friendly and helpful. The so called "executive room" was in an area of the hotel with a nautical theme. Although not the largest of rooms everything was clean tidy and the decor and furnishings worked well to create an atmosphere way above the usual sterile feel of competitors. The teddy bear and Fererro Rocher chocs were a nice touch and all went to enhance the experience. Bar service and choice excellent although a little pricey and the breakfast again first class. All in all a gem of a hotel ideally situated in the heart of a vibrant city at a price on a par with Travelodge. We will most definately use The Feathers again in the not too distant future. Super friendly, clean hotel, but not for anyone with mobility issues. My husband has leg problems due to MS, and had we been aware we would have booked elsewhere. There is NO elevator, and only a very narrow staircase. If this information was in the on-line information, then I missed it. 「各種アメニティあり」とあったのですが、歯ブラシがなく困りました。元々備え付けていないようでした。フロントに申し出たら、探してくれましたが、結局見つからず、「（深夜だったので）明日の朝、コンビニで買ってください」とのことでした。一人旅でシングルを予約しましたが、部屋は広く、ベッドにいたテディベアのぬいぐるみに癒されました。宿泊したのは12月末でしたが、少し部屋が寒く感じました。朝食はおいしかったです。

J'ai été surpris en tout point par cet hôtel! En effet, j'ai pris la chambre assez tard, et j'ai eu droit à une chambre assez grande (3 lits alors que j'étais seul!). De plus, l'accueil fut très sympa ! Content du choix de cet hôtel ! Dès que je reviens à Liv'pool, je retournerai dans cet établissement !

Palvelu oli ystävällistä, mutta huone oli pienen ahtaan portaikon päässä. Ikkunasta ei nähnyt ulos ja sängyt olivat melkoiset hetekat. Sijainti on hyvä ja rauhallinen, mutta hinta/laatu-suhde ei ollut hyvä.

Bodde på dette hotellet i tre netter ifm fotballferie i vakre Liverpool. Fikk gjennom hele helga meget god service fra de ansatte, som ordnet mat til oss når vi kom klokka 2 natt til lørdag, i tillegg til at de var vennelige og hyggelige å prate med resten av helga. Litt minus med dobbeltdyne og at det var veldig varmt på rommet vårt. 10 min gange ned […] til sentrum og 15 min til Albert Dock. Altialt veldig fornøyd. Read more

Helt ok hotell, men når det stod "frokostbuffet" hadde jeg forventet litt mer. ikke noe grovt brød, ikke noe pålegg, jeg har spist på hotell der det har stått "engelsk frokost" som har hatt et mye bedre utvalg enn det det var her. rommene var så små at det egentlig ikke var plas til mer enn en person! og man kunne høre godt om naboen snorket eller snudde […] seg i senga. og den såkalte gratis wifi fungerte ikke i det heletatt i 3 egt. なんと言ってもスタッフが親切。エレベーターがないので、重い荷物を運ばなければならないのですが、笑顔で、当然のごとく、運んでくれました。チップも受け取らないで、本当にありがとうございました。周辺には夜遅くまで開いているスーパーがあり、食料品には困りません。

Fint hotell, grei avstand til byen, bra service, bra frokost. Eneste negative er at det smeller en del i dørene i gangene, hører det godt når man er på rommet. Men alt i alt, vel verdt pengene, og absolutt et alternativ neste gang!
