Wanted to use pool area but the water was too cold for my grandkids and the pool area was not clean and water quality was suspect. Room not as clean as expected. Service staff very friendly and helpful which made stay tolerable.

Some stains on carpet in hall. Wooden divider in room was cracked. Room had an unpleasant odor like it possibly was previously a smoking room.

I normally try to be understanding about staying in a hotel, seeing as I used to work in one. I was understanding about the fact that the hotel staff had me waiting 20 minutes to get in my room (while no one else was at the desk). I was understanding about the fact that some of the workers at the front desk could barely speak English, but I was furious […] when I requested a non-smoking room and not only did it smell of musty cigarettes when we checked in, but in the morning before we checked out my 9 month started to put something in her mouth. When I reached in her mouth, to my horror and disgust it was 2 cigarette butts. To make it worse, when I went to the front desk they dismissively said "thanks for letting us know." What?! I called and left a message for the GM who still has not called me back. I have travelled a lot and this was by far the worst because of the lack of problem solving on the hotels end. Read more

The staff was. It helpful at all. We requested one more pillow, which was denied and extra towels and were told to come get them ourselves. The flor in the bathroom was unclean. I will not be choosing this hotel again.

The staff were nice but the swimming pool was dirty and slimmy, The hot tub was nasty dirty and wasn't filled or working. My roomsaid it had a game console also but was not true, I was never told I would have to pay 7.00 for 60 min for my 2 sons to play the video game. I was not happy with our vacation

The hotel was very close to the place I was going and why I was visiting the area. It wasn't the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but definitely not the worst. The staff seemed nice, but I didn't have much interaction with them other than when checking in/out.

Hotel was in horrible condition. The hot tub was out of order with a blue tarp covering it and the pool was unusable due to the condition of the water. It had slime on the surface with dirt and debree on the bottom. Hotel staff looked at the pool and said there was no way he'd get in there and laughed.

This Days Inn used to be an old Comfort Inn. I'm not sure if the negative reviews are from the Comfort Inn time but this was a quality hotel. This was my 3rd year staying in the area and my 3rd hotel. Sure you'll find a better hotel paying more than more a night, but this is by far the best deal ever. There was a few stains in the hallway, but come on folks...it's an old hotel; some stains are to be expected. Everything was fine, except I couldn't sleep! The pillows were like hard, fat rocks, and my neck hurt in the morning. I asked at the front desk for a smaller pillow but was told they were all the same (doubtful!). I had to borrow one from my daughter's dorm room to sleep the 2nd night. The Days Inn is a fantastic hotel and a real hidden budget gem but they were a few things that made our stay a bit unusual. The hotel is a former Best Western and it seemed like they were in the process of repairing and remodeling it into the Days Inn format. The hotels pool was closed unanounced, we did not get the room we were supposed to and they had to "Rearrange" somethings to even fit us in. The shower squeeled when turned on and there was burn holes in the blanket.

We stayed at the Days Inn - Forest Park for one night (7/9-7/10). We waited at the front desk for atleast 10 minutes before someone finally came out. The man at the desk was not friendly and informed us that the pool area was closed. We were not informed of this before we arrived. We were told that it would be closed until August and the main reason […] that I chose this hotel was because of the indoor pool. I have a young child that loves to swim and wanted to make sure we could swim even if it rained. I did not make a big fuss over it because there was nothing that could be done. We finished checking in and went to our room. The room was adequate for the 4 of us staying here for the night but the beds were uncomfortable. Around 7:00 we decided to head out and visit a few stores and grab some dinner, which was harder than expected. The hotel is NOT a nice area at all. After going into a few stores, we found that most of the restaurants were closed by 9 (on a Saturday night). Would not recommend this hotel at all. Read more
