Samsara Resort is in Negril, Jamaica, in an oceanfront location atop seaside cliffs. Downtown Negril is 2 kilometers (1 mile) away. Seven Mile Beach is 3 kilometers (2 miles) away.
Hotel Features.
Samsara Resort sits on cliffs above a rocky beach; 137 meters (150 yards) below the hotel, guests can snorkel and scuba dive among the reefs (surcharge). Legends Beach Resort, a partner property, offers guests a powdery, white-sand beach. This Negril resort includes a freeform outdoor pool and a cool-water spa tub. There are also two on-site restaurants. Chez Maurice has ocean views, serves international cuisine and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has a bar. The Ciao Jamaica Restaurant has garden views and specializes in Italian fusion cuisine serving lunches and dinners and has a bar. There is also a poolside bar hosts live calypso music. Room service is also available during limited hours. The resort offers a full-service health spa, a game room, and complimentary shuttle service to Legends Beach Resort. Transportation to the airport (shuttle) is available on request.
Guestrooms.
Accommodations at Samsara Resort are found in two locations on the property; some guestrooms are in two-story buildings on the ocean-side of the street, while others are across the street from the ocean. Guestrooms provide furnished patios or balconies, with ocean, partial ocean, garden or pool views. Guestrooms include ceiling fans and blackout drapes/curtains. There is cable-service television with premium channels and ESPN/HBO and there is high-speed wired and wireless Internet access (surcharge). Furnishings include a desk and an iron/ironing board is available on request. Private bathrooms are equipped with showers. Cribs/infant beds, rollaway beds, and daily housekeeping are available. Upon arrival, beds are covered with scattered flowers and petals. The rooms were renovated in October 2011.
