"NO COMPLAINTS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.
"great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay
"Great location and large suits."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel was reasonably priced and a two minute walk from the falls! The rooms were nice (King sized beds!) but watch out for extra charges...they will charge you a hefty rate at the end of your stay for just one nights parking.

"good location for Town Ballroom events"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Although we didn't spend very much time at the hotel, the staff called to see if we needed anything and they delivered. The beds were comfy, bathroom roomy and nice TV. The free breaky the next morning was good and better than most others I have had.

Big attractions accompany the big falls experience in Canada. Fallsview Indoor Water Park, one of the continent’s largest, sits at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge. This hotel will not disappoint. It's beautiful, clean, close to falls and has friendly helpful employees. Only problem was I wasn't expecting to pay an additional $12.00 + tax per night for outdoor parking! FYI, if you make a local call from your room you'll be charged $1.00 per call. Food was a little pricey but very good. Will definately stay there […] again. Read more

"Doubletree by Hilton at Niagara Falls"
We were at the 18.floor with a very pretty view, comfortable rooms(suite) and very friendly staff. We will love to come again.
"Nice hotel, good view."
Very nice hotel with a good view of the American Falls from our room on the 16th floor. Don't know why there is a parking charge.
"Fallsview-Fallsview"
Recent stay was very decent and enjoyable. Children went swimming in the saltwater at the pool; beds were very comfortable. Only downfall, hair was sporadically found in the room so chairs and lamps could be vacuumed and/or dusted and insure that floor in bathroom and carpet is thoroughly vacuumed and towels cleared of any remaining hair before folded […] and given to residents. Other than that, the view of the falls at night is pretty decent as long as you stay in a room on the upper levels and the view is not obstructed. Area decent, cars were safe although I didn't see any security patrolling the lot. I have not figured out why this hotel and/or other surrounding hotels charge residents a fee to park daily. The hotel fee should include the parking since there is no valet parking. The hotel is several blocks from the falls but one could find a few $5 parking lots closer to the falls and walk a few blocks. Rooms were comfortable and the window vents opened to allow cool air to circulate in the room should you not choose to use the a/c, although we did not need it. Read more

"Bugs at double tree niagara falls"
Don't go here. Moved twice. Both rooms infested with ants. Had to be refunded and find another hotel. Other area hotels we're cheaper, had better views and most importantly were bug free.

"NIce Hotel with great location"
This is a nice hotel situated between the Falls and the street with most of the restaurants. The casino is a 6 minute walk and 10 to the Falls. While I would complain about the prices of food in the hotel it appears to be inline with the neighborhood (the 4 of us saved $55 by crossing the bridge to the US side for breakfast). Loved the lobby. pool and […] of course the cookies! Read more

"hotel doubletree in ontario, canada"
the room was tooooo warm ...could not get the temp any cooler...not too conducive for sleeping! paying for parking is ludicrius. (I know most of the other hotels are following suit) but with what you pay for a night's stay it should be free...especially in off season!!!
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. This winter has certainly been strange temperatures in Southern Ontario and perhaps your stay was over one of those flooky warm days, not typical or expected temperatures. Not sure if you noticed, but the guestroom window has a section at the bottom where you turn it and it allows outside fresh air into the room. Guests love this feature as most hotels these days do not allow outside fresh air access. As you stated, paid parking is typical in our area. It is part of the urban area of the Fallsview district, similiar to any downtown city centre core. At $12 per day, and self parking where you can access your vehicle upon demand vs valet, most guests like our parking arrangements - I'm sure minus the daily fee. We hope to welcome you back to the resort.

"Doubletree Fallsview - Niagara"
This is a very pretty hotel that looks like a beautiful lodge. The hotel staff was very friendly and the Falls view rooms have great views of the American falls from the 16th and 17th floors in the winter when no leaves were on the trees. Not sure what the view will be in the spring/summer. The ONLY recommendation for improvement would be better quality […] sheets. We stayed in two different rooms on consecutive weekends and the sheets were "crunchy" both times - crunchy enough that you were actually noisy if you rolled over in the middle of the night! "DoubleTree Fallsview - Niagara, ON"
The DoubleTree Fallsview was excellent! We had a few minor bumps along the way but the staff was more than helpful and super nice!!! The room we were first given was non-smoking but someone definitely broke that rule and the front desk was more than happy to give us a new room. The second room however smelled a little vom-a-licious upon arrival (probably […] because the night before was NYE) but it was only in one spot and we figured it would go away. We left to have dinner at the hotels restaurant, spent some time at the pool and sauna (which were great) and then were off to the casino! Needless to say, when we returned to our room to get some sleep, the barfy smell remained. We went to the front desk (around 1 am mind you) and the guy on duty armed himself with some lysol and met us up at our room. We took him to the area that smelled and he immediately offered to change our room, brought us a luggage cart and helped us take all of our stuff to a new room, with a fallsview no less!!! He couldn't have been nicer and really made us feel welcome. The hotel was beautiful and there is no question that I would stay there again. My girlfriend and I are already planning our next visit! Oh and the free cookies they give you at check-in are top notch! Read more
Thank you for describing our hotel as "excellent". Not sure if your date(s) of stay was over New Year's Eve, but while this is no excuse, Niagara Falls on New Year's Eve attracts 40,000 people to the outdoor concert, almost at the DoubleTree's door step. It is certainly not indicative of the other times of the year, and we sometimes encounter "non compliant" guests. Appreciate your understanding and looking forward to welcoming you back to the resort.

It will better to have a regular size microwave on the counter above the refrigerator just for the convinence for some family with kids below 2yrs of age. Also the parking should free instead of 12 dollars per day.
Thank you for the suggestion. It was a suggestion a few years back which resulted in the hotel installing mini-refrigerators in every room and suite. Please note, on the lower lobby level, we offer a room we call the "pantry" with vending machines and a sink and microwave for guest use 24/7.

Very efficient. Staff were very warm and pleasant. The two cookies were very good.
"Perfect in Every Way!"
We arrived after a day of delayed flights and things going wrong, and a friendly greeting and a warm cookie for each person really went a long way. The foyer also had a classic small cabin look with a huge fireplace that was just so warm and cozy- we would spend a little while sitting in front of it at the end of every day. The rooms themselves were […] spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Housekeeping was more considerate and caring than I've seen at any of the hotels I've been to- on one particular day we left the do not disturb sign on the door, and were very plesantly surprised to find that housekeeping had left a set of fresh towels and toiletries outside. The hotel also has computers available for guests, a common microwave, and self service laundry facilities- these are really convenient features to have, especially for families. We booked a fallsview room on a high floor, and enjoyed seeing the American side of the falls every morning. The falls were an easy 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. By car, the nearest outlet malls, grocery stores, restaurants, etc, are just 5 minutes or so as well. Parking at the hotel was $12+taxes every day. Overall, there is just nothing at all to complain about with this hotel; everything ran perfectly and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Read more

"Really nice Hotel"
Hotel was very clean and new. The restaurant was not as bad with prices. Everything in Niagara Falls is expensive. It was really good food for the ease of not leaving the hotel. The area was a little run down but during the day it was fine. Our stay was riddled with rain so there was some time with 2 kids at the pool. The pool was clean and comfortable. "doubletree in Niagara falls"
Hotel great, room was clean and comfortable and it was very close to all attractions. The food in the hotel rest. was not great, was inedible actually. the fish dish had so many small bones in it there was no way you could eat it without constantly picking out the bones in each bite, borderline choking hazard and the bruchetta was not something you […] could eat, again inedible. Eat elsewhere. Very expensive bad meal. there are currently two hundred dollar charges on my card which the hotel assures me are just pending based on a hold on my card? I have never heard of such a thing. If the pending charges are removed then my overall experience was good, if not and I have to fight them then it will def detract from the quality of the stay. Beautiful facility but..... Read more
"a solid good hotel, but not quite 4 stars"
it's a nice hotel "in between" the fallsview casino area and the "downtown" area (both within easy walking distance). the rooms are nice and large and clean; the bed and bed linens were also very nice; the "welcome" warm chocolate chip cookie is a nice touch; BUT....the bath towels are too thin for my liking, my wake-up call was 1/2 hour late, and the […] bird skeleton outside our window (room 311) was unpleasant to look at every time we opened our drapes. also, it's an easy 5 minute walk to the falls if you take the stairs (ask someone how to do that).
