The last time our family stayed at this hotel was under the Ameri-Tel management. Our stay this time was equally nice as far as the hotel room being clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. The one difference; we paid the same price last time ($142.00) for one night and the breakfast buffet was included with our room rate. Hilton charged an additional […] $42.00 (plus $6.00 tip) for breakfast that wasn't that much better from when we stayed there two summers ago. I don't think $10.95 a plate for adults and $6.95 a plate for kids is much of a bargain. Please revisit your business practice for the breakfast buffet and make it complimentary. Read more

Exceptional service and very friendly staff. They made sure we were satisfied with our room. It was very well set-up, extremely clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk down the path to the businesses in the Old Mill District to stores and restaurants. Outstanding view to the west mountains was wonderful.

Decent hotel. Added a restaurant since switching to Hilton, though I didn't try it. Space really isn't suited for a good restaurant experience. Otherwise, clean place, good amenities, good location.

The hotel was optimally located - close to great restaurants (Greg's Grill, Level 2), easy access to Mat Bachelor, and close to downtown Bend (Deschutes brewpub, Bren brewpub). Only downside was there was noticeable draft below heater.

We wanted a place that was fun for the kids and had a good location in proximity to mt. Bachelor! We got both! Staff was amazingly friendly especially the wait staff in the restaurant. Great pool, good food and great accommodations!

This hotel is located in the Old Mill District of Bend which is just about a miles drive to the center of town so you can enjoy both. Just a short walk to stores, restaurants and movies. The hotel staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the breakfast available in the morning for a very reasonable price. Easy to park. Well maintained.

The location was perfect for our visit with family. The hotel is located in the Old Mill district next to restaurants and shopping. And, only a short drive to the downtown area. I stayed at this hotel when it was an Ameritel and it was good then. Hilton have done a good job in upgrading it, including the addition of a restaurant. Sadly though (despite the Expedia listing) they have started to charge for breakfast, though they allowed me my free one because of the Expedia mistake. I hear others complaining too. We had a couple […] of issues - first Expedia screwed up the booking and I wasn't able to get the premium room I requested. Second, we had extremely noisy neighbors (they always seem to end up in the room next to me). We complained at 2am and the desk sent someone up immediately to quiet them down. Unfortunately, 5 minutes later the noise resumed, lasting through till 4am. I know there's not a lot that hotels can do to shut these people up (short of throwing them out, which would have been great in this case) but I was surprised when I checked out that no one on the morning shift seemed to know anything about it and I was greeted with the usual "I hope you enjoyed your stay." That's plain bad customer service, which is why I marked them down. Read more

Location was convenient (walking distance), facility was clean and peaceful, $10 upgrade got us a beautiful view, there was ample parking and free EASILY ACCESSED wi-fi. Staff was very personable and helpful. There was confusion about exactly where our event was, so we asked Cindy (?) at the front desk for help. This hotel was beautiful. Room was very quiet. We arrived at 11:00am and the desk clerk was very nice, even though the hotel was fully booked she was able to get us checked into a room early so we could change, eat and get to an afternoon wedding. Breakfast buffet was only 6.99 and very good selection. We'll stay here again.

Not only was the hotel clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, but the location is excellent. Immediately adjacent to the Old Mill Shopping Center, you are walking distance to a multi-screen movie theater, restaurants, retail shopping, and a Ben & Jerry's! At this point, I was already running late & had to cancel some plans, rather than keep my friends waiting for me. My stay was superior in every respect. My room was clean and comfortable. The fitness room was great. The staff was exceptional (front desk, restaurant). And being only a few steps away from the Old Mill District was a double bonus.

For the price, the room was sparsly furnished. It had a king bed but only one easy chair/ottomon. It had a desk chair and an office chair/desk. Was a bottom level room with a view of the parking lot...not the city or river view as listed. Way to expensive for what we got!

Great hotel, 1st time staying here. The breakfast buffet was great, not just coffee and a waffle station, actually had a few hot breakfast choices. We stay in Bend during Thanksgiving every year. We found Ameritel a few years back and where impressed with hotel amenities, cleanliness, service and overall value. We come back every year and have never been disappointed. They have one of the nicest fitness rooms overlooking the Old Mill District to the mountains in the distance. You can walk down stairs from the sidewalk on the be back side of the property right down to the shops at the Old Mill District, including an organic coffee shop.
