Kissimmee’s downtown is chockablock with historic buildings. The city’s courthouse, dedicated in 1890, is Florida’s oldest courthouse still in use. Lake cruises depart from the city’s waterfront perch on Lake Tohopekaliga. The lake is a bird haven, and its big-mouth bass lure anglers. The house I rented was fabulous. I booked a 3 bedroom home and when I got there I found a 4 bedroom home. Pool was a good size. House was comfortable. Definitely would book again.

The house was beautiful, we requested a 3 bedroom home and we ended up with a 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath home which was great because there were 4 adults and 4 children so no fighting for the bathrooms. A beautiful pool with a spa and it was clean and had heat as well. It also had a playstation in the living area televisions in all the rooms. Overall we had a pleasant experience and we will definitley be using this company again for our next stay in the area.

The vacation home itself was lovely. The only problem I had was the location was terrible. The address for Florida Vacation Homes doesn't exist. The freezer part of the refrigerator didn't get cold enough to freeze, but I could handle that. What I couldn't handle was the screen around the pool area had been slit and the patio door to the master bedroom down stairs had been jimmied and wouldn't lock, and unfortunately we didn't discover that until the last night of our stay. There were other houses in the neighborhood where the windows were busted out and police patrooled the area so frequently it made me feel secure, but at the same time I felt no security

I rented this home for the New Year 2009. this was my first time in Orlando. Renting his property was great for me. Positive points I paid for a 3 bedroom and received a 4 bedroom 3 bath. I could never get this at a hotel. (free upgrade). There was so much room my kids were on one side of he house and I was on the other (what a vacation). You are the only one in your own pool. Negative points I had to drive about 20 to 30 miles to attractions. I drive long distances so it was not as bad when I had to drive to the attractions. You have to wash their towels and place them back prior to your departure. Welcome home, you have to wash your dishes prior to your departure. Also, I paid an extra amount for taxes and insurance. 13% taxes plus, $60 insurance, worth it for a 4 bedroom with a pool. things that would help: I picked up cheap bath towels from target so I didn't have to use theirs. I picked up paper plates, cups, forks and spoons, less washing dishes. (remember i is a vacation) I picked up cleaning material, although the home was very clean. (no one clean as good as you) We cleaned daily and packed the night before so we could leave with no problem. Great place will do again in 2009!!!

This rental home was just outside of Orlando and was a great deal for the price. Rented a 3 bedroom house and got a 4 bedroom 3 bath house when we got there. Nice surprise. Kids loved the screened in pool on the back patio. House was in a gated golf community, backyard was actually on a fairway of the course. The house was in very nice condition and was great for a family vacation! No problems with the rental agency at all. Great vacation!

They house was in a gated community which was a plus. There weren't tv's in every room and they were all small tv's. The pool was not as large as we thought it would be, but large enough for the three children to enjoy private swimming. The pool heat was timed and came on from 9a-6p which we did not agree with. The electric pool heat was broken and it took two days for someone to come check/repair the heat. However management refunded entire heating cost in a very timely manner and was pleasant. Overall the family really enjoyed having enough rooms to accommodate 9 adults and 3 children comfortably. It felt safer then renting a hotel room and felt somewhat like a home away from home.

We paid for a 3 bedroom home and ended up getting 4 bedrooms! The house was immaculate and in a great golfing community. The layout was wonderful and fit the 6 adults and 2 children comfortably. We loved the house and would gladly stay again! The only big problem we had was that the property had not been utilized in some time, so the water smelled like rotten eggs the first day we were there. But, after that day, it was fine. It just needed to be ran more often.

The fees that are paid beyond the price of the hotel room needs to be explained in detail such as pool heating fees. More attention needs to be paid to the minor details, i.e., broken and missing blind panels, manual can opener, dish towels, etc.

Reviewed by April of Orlando on Dec 3, 2008
The vacation home was beautiful and spacious. Very clean and the kids enjoyed the living space. Unfortunately, there were a few things that bother me: We had a 4 bedroom house which was beautiful but came with to many fees. By the time I completed all of the requirements the average price of the home for three nights had doubled. Example of some things that had fees( check in early/check out late fee, property protection fee or place a hold of a certain amount on your credit card), heated pool fee, etc...) You have to wash all towels/dishes before you leave but they still charged a cleaning fee. Recommend bringing your own towels and/paper products. Why? Check out time was vert early (most vacationers are not early risers) so if the majority of your party does not shower at night you have to wait for them all to bathe. Next you have to wash the towels/bath cloths, dry them and put them back in their proper place. It took about two hours to complete that task for my family of six. Let's not forget wash and put back all dishes and silverware. Not enough hot water. We had six people staying at this home and the water would turn cold during showers rather quickly. I used the spa tub but was unable to enjoy it because the water went cold only after a few minutes. Overall I give it 2.8 stars because who in the world wants to clean during their vacation. Defeats the purpose if you ask me.

Very out dated appliances and the location was way out of the way, a 35 minute drive to everything. There was mold in the shower and the door handle came off in my hand. This property was very poor and I was very unhappy there!
