"Nice Hotel Close to Downtow"
We have stayed at this hotel before, but this time wasn't as great. The hotel itself was good, but the evening staff was rude beyond my comfort level. And when asked how my stay was, I explained they were rude and all the morning staff said was "okay, have a nice day."Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to everything!"
Great location, free breakfast, free wifi beats any downtown hotels around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice! And convenient! Will stay here again traveling to the French Quarter!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to everything"
The hotel staff was nice and the valet parking is a plus as parking is hard to find in the area. You are close to everything only a block or so from burbon streetGenuine Expedia guest review
We wanted to go right around that area and it was perfect. We were within walking distance from most locations and close to the trolley to get even further. The room was comfortable and the staff were most helpful in all ways.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is exactly what we were looking for a girls night out. Walking distance to Burbon, and we even got lucky to get free parking right in front of hotel (the 2hr parking is free daily past 6p and free all day sunday). So i didnt have to pay $25 for valet. The room was small, but the cleanliness and character makes up for the size. We loved it and wished […] we could've stay much longer that 1 night. Will def book again! "Small room and not enough staff"
Our room was the size of a broom closet and this wasn't the cheapest hotel so I was taken by surprise. i have stayed in many hotels in this city and never had such a bad experience. We couldn't use a bell cart because the hotel only has 2. The room was very dirty and our friends room next door even had vomit on the floor. When we checked out we had […] to wait an hour for valet and then they had lost some keys and everything. After waiting 50 minutes one of the valets ( Arnold ) showed up to start his shift and he came to work with a huge mess that he himself pretty much sorted out, btw he was the only helpful person there because the girl behind the desk was doing nothing to help and the front desk manager was just sitting in the room doing nothing. This hotel defiantly needs to evaluate there staff and get more helpful people like Arnold because I will not stay there again and I will make sure everyone knows this and all my family lives there so I will inform them also. it would take a whole lot of change and convincing to get me to stay there again Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Best Western St Christopher New Orleans"
Location was very convenient to French Quarter, sightseeing, tours, etc. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was nice, just a little cramped for four people, a dog and luggage. Breakfast was just okay. Pancake machine was out of order, bummer for the kids. Pet friendly, but no grass anywhere close to take pets. Overall, we really enjoyed our two nights […] at this Best Western location. Charming hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location. Reasonable price. Not very clean."
It is close to the quarter, but still quiet enough. The cleaning is not very good to be honest.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Called for assistance on directions to be sent to voicemail. Front desk was rude and unorganized. Had to wait over 30min to check out and no parking to unload or park unless u pay $25 for the hotel to park your vehicle. Will not come back to this hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked a King non-smoking, was placed in a double smoking handicap access room. Called ahead to confirm parking price and arrangements, actually cost almost double and waited 35 minutes to have my car brought down. Hotel is very close to all the New Orleans action.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The evening attendants were not very hospitable. We had to wait for our room and the attendants were not inviting. They hung up the phone abruptly when I called down for my vehicle I assume it was in frustration because I did not have the vehicle stub. the hotel was a great choice for our stay but not for the price. the complementary breakfast left much to be desired. there was a terrible stench in the lobby area everytime we entered. however, the staff was top notch and 100% helpful. the room was good except the tub got stopped up but some came fairly quickly to get it fixed. we would stay here […] again. "Will never book again!"
Though the hotel is convenient to the French Qtr, this was the worst hotel I have ever spent time at in my entire life! First, the front desk is extremely rude, they have no interest in assisting customers, and if you ask a question on what a certain charge is, be prepared to be met with a major attitude. Hotel has a horrible breakfast layout (basically […] just sausage inside of biscuits) and the milk and cereal that was set out had already expired. The hotel charges per night for parking, and the valets' drive cars with no regard. Our bed sheets were stained, and the room was dusty as if no cleaning took place in a month. The surrounding neighborhood is rough, so don't get scared if you run into any homeless or beggars while trying to unload/load your vehicle. Also the hotel security is for the most part off duty at night. My suggestion book with caution, this is a last resort type hotel, there's nothing "Plus" about it. Waited 45 mins to check in! Rooms were being cleaned. But as soon as the rooms were released they hand them over to people who just walked into the hotel and not the ones that were waiting 45mins!! Ridiculous! Parking was overpriced and on top of the normal $30 they added an extra $5 because it happened to be Essence fest!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a issue with the breakfast. I didn't like the fact that I had to microwave a twoin pack saugage biscuit. They might need to take a look at Hampton Inn's complementary breakfast and take notes. But all in all, the staff was great which made the difference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't waste your time!"
We made reservations about 5 months ago. We knew the location of the hotel from a previous visit to New Orleans and that access to the French Quarters, shopping and Harrah's casino were all within a very short distance. Upon check-in (chaotic experience) we were placed in an interior room with a pretend window and told that we would be moved the next […] day to the correct room- we were paying 119.00 a night and they had a special for 89.00 for the same room. After dealing with my husband they moved us to another room (I have left out tons) but we will never go back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Valet parking was a total bust! Service in this department was nonexixtent. the second day of our stay, the room was never cleaned even though we alerted the front desk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very convenient to French Quarter"
Hotel room was very comfortable and quaint with exposed old brick walls. Complimentary breakfast was great...good variety of different things to choose from. Front desk staff was very helpful. Needed to leave luggage there after check-out and staff was accommodating. All in all was an excellent place to stay and would do so again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Had to pay for parking. Was not convenient to get in and out with our vehicle having to be fetched.(was running to antique shops 2000 block of magazine). Otherwise it was very nice. You can walk to nearby museums and the quarter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"MID WEEK GETAWAY"

"Worst Hotel Experience"
My friend and I stayed there this past weekend and only made the reservation for one night. Check out was at eleven and when we called downstairs to get it extended for late checkout the front desk told us she'd give us an hour longer. When we went down to turn in the keys there was an extra $60 charge that she never mention in the phone call. We asked […] to then continue staying in the room, given that we just paid, and were told that we'd have to pay the full day rate on top if it. They were absolutely NOT willing to work with us or help in any way. We had lunch at The Ruby Slipper (which was outstanding) while we waited for vallet to get the car pulled around. When we finished and went to get our bags in the car, the manager approached us to ask about "damages" done to the room. The night before we dropped queso on the floor & tried to clean it up. They charged me another $150 for that. So my $85 hotel fee turned into almost $300 and they weren't willing to negotiate or rationalize at all. I'll NEVER stay at another Best Western and certainly not the Best Western at St. Charles in New Orleans. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
It was very convenient. The beds were comfortable. Service was good. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms felt old, small, no light in the entrance, and pillows folded, had to flattened so my head will fit in. The plus were the services rendered. The staff were cordial, respectful, and reliable. The bathrooms were big and the water pressure in the shower was strong. Breakfast was great. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan to go back in the hotel. […] Forgot to mentioned the location was excellent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to my anchor hotel"
I liked the fact that my hotel was right next door to my convention anchor hotel. The hotel was okay, but in the beginning I had to change rooms. The first room had no window. My stay at the quaint hotel wasn't as pleasant as I thought it would be. Due to the poor cooling of the rooms this made resting at night unbearable. Then to top it off... Rooms were small. Parking was a hassle and took a long time. Maid service was very kind and good. Breakfast was okay. One of the front desk personnel were not very inviting. Overall hotel was a nice place to stay. Next time I would want a room with the windowGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Air conditioner was at a set point of 78 throughout the whole hotel so it was very hot even in the rooms. Slept with no covers on and sweated all night. People that work there were not friendly and don't really want to help if u have a problem. Would never stay there again. I would go somewhere else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Once I arrived there was no space to unload without being in the middle of the street. But, the employee outside was very helpful and told the taxi to move up to make room for me. They also helped me with my bags all the way to my room which was nice. I decided to use their valet service which is $25 per car. It was in very short walking distance of […] where I needed to be. St. Christopher really has their act together. They are a great place to stay, whether you're planning to hang out in the French Quarter or to venture out into the rest of New Orleans. "Nice hotel, lousy houskeeping"
Cleanliness of our room was not up to my standards. We were there for an entire week and the carpet was never vacuumed. In the bathroom the floor was never cleaned either. On a couple of days we had to find housekeeping because our beds were never made and on one day they only made one bed and left the other one unmade. Lobby of hotel was beautiful […] and continental breakfast was good. Again, the only complaint was how they cleaned or didn't clean our room Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Very nice hotel. Within walking distance of the Riverfront, French Quarter and Bourbon Street. One block from the trolley stop. Would be the perfect place for a romantic getaway. I will definitely return to this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything"
Great front desk staff. Had no problem checking in. We had a king bed on the 9th floor with a view of the river. Bourbon street was a few blocks away, along with all other attractions. Only downfall was our room was right by the elevator so a bit noisy. Water pressue was very poor along with the continental breakfast. Otherwise, trip was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Satisfying Experience with Great Location"
We celebrated Memorial Day Weekend in New Orleans and had a wonderful time. The St. Christopher Hotel is within walking distance to the WWII Museum, The Audobon Aquarium, The French Quarter and some very cool restaurants. The only attraction that we had to take a cab to was the New Orleans Museum of Art and City Park. The Hotel Desk Clerk and Concierge […] were friendly, polite and so helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and the ambiance of the brick warehouse walls in our room and throughout the hotel was charming. The breakfast staff was courteous and there was a variety of hot and cold breakfast foods. We would definitely stay at the Best Western St. Christopher again and have already recommended it to friends and family. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"awesome place to stay"
The hotel was great. It was the perfect walking distance from everything. The staff was friendly. The room was clean.
