"What a great hotel! Hidden gem!"

We have been going to Ogunquit for years to celebrate The Christmas by the sea celebration. This is the first time we have stayed at Admiral's Inn as I never had noticed it before. I found it while searching on line and thought we would try it out! Am I glad we did! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The location is great, we could walk to everything in town. The rooms were clean, quiet and so comfortable! We loved it and will definitely be back!

I stayed there twice in the past six months and both times I was really impressed with it. The people are extremely friendly and helpful. May I add that they have the best coffee and the location is great too :)
"Good but not a favorite"

There is nothing wrong with this Inn, but it just seems to be a little off the beaten path. Very friendly staff, rooms are very clean, but a little worn. The bar area, they seem to try with a few specials, we had a wing night, and the sauces were good, and the potions were very large, but again just missing something. If you can't get you faviorate spot and can get a good rate here, you'll be happy, but nothing I would go out of my way for.
"Great off-season stay!"

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Parked right up front and was nicely greeted at the desk at check-in. Got a great restaurant recommendation (out of MANY choices) -MC Perkins Cove . The suite was clean, spacious and well-appointed. The fireplace in the bedroom is a great detail, especially for the off-season. The Admiral's Inn is a great launching point for downtown, the beach and the Marginal Way. Looking forward to coming back!
""Great accommodations regardless of the season!""

"Great accommodations regardless of the season!" Admiral's Inn is one of my favorite places to stay. It features the best views of the sea and the splendid beauty of the mountains. I always have a great time whether it is the Spring, Summer, Fall or the Winter. What makes the experience even more enjoyable is that the staff is always so ready to help and the building is so well maintained. The restaurants are easily accessible and feature wonderful food. Thank you for another wonderful and invigorating experience! The pictures are from 3 different visits in 2014.

We love going here every year!! Easy to get to, convenient to walk anywhere, especially to the Marginal Way, downtown and just a pleasant place to stay. The staff are very helpful with information about local eateries and any other questions you my have. The Admirals Inn changed hands this past year and it's still just great. We are looking forward next year once again. Have Fun!

I stayed at this cozy and comfortable inn during the off season (mid-November) in Ogunquit, Maine. The room was spacious and offered a fairly large "kitchenette" complete with glasses, silverware and plenty of cupboard space. The real plus here was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. They really went above and beyond in terms of being courteous and accommodating. One minor qualm: I was staying on the second floor of this three story hotel and could hear furniture being moved overhead and clunky footsteps patrolling for awhile. This subsided after awhile and it certainly wasn't the fault of the staff. If I stayed again, I'd opt for the third floor, though. All in all, this was money well spent and a great place to spend time.
"Ogunquit off season, lovely and peaceful!"

This inn is the perfect place to stay, very accommodating, let us check in early and took the time to provide directions to town. The location is perfect, you can walk to the beach and to town. My only issue was that there is no closet in the room, however there are hooks on a door.

We select Admiral's Inn by chance as we planned a last minute trip to Maine in the off season. It was literally the first Inn I checked that was in our price range and available. Fortunately, we really lucked out and it was a great place to stay. It's located on Main Street (Hwy 1) In Ogunquit so you can walk to shops and restaurants. The beaches and Marginal Way Path (a must see) are a 5 minute drive away. In addition to the great location the Inn itself is awesome. Nothing super fancy but it is bright, cozily appointed and very clean. My husband and I booked for 2 adults but my brother decided to tag along at the last minute. They happily accommodated us and didn't increase our nightly rate for the extra guest and even brought extra towels to the double queen room before we though to request them. When we arrived they gave us a map of Ogunquit and took the time to tell us what was open and what to see in the off season. Since half the town closes by mid October this was very helpful advice. Everyone we encountered at the Inn was friendly and helpful. We would love to make it back to southern Maine and we would definitely stay at the Admiral's Inn again.

We had no prior knowledge of the Inn when we booked it but were pleasantly surprised how good it turned out to be. The staff were welcoming and given that there is plenty of car parking it was easy to get our luggage unloaded and check in. The room we were allocated was a very good size and had two very comfortable chairs making relaxing in the room enjoyable. Although there were no coffee making facilities in the room the hotel provided a continual supply of coffee and hot water in the lounge/dining area, together with microwave. Staff could not have been more helpful. We were able to breakfast using our own supplies. However the hotel is situated close to the town centre where there are some excellent restaurants and diners for breakfasts. Overall we were very pleased with our choice and would recommend it.
