      The staff was great, the location is great for a business person coming from the airport. The train is right across the street, and the main train station and buses and metro are right nextdoor too. BUT it is a cab (or metro or bus) ride from the historic area so be advised. Also, there is no gym/exercise room. And when it's cold in Lyon or snowing, your only choice is to eat :). It's in a very commercial area so there don't seem to be fine real French restaurants around. So the bottom line is, good for a business person with appointments close by. Not quite so good for tourists.

      Nice hotel, centrally located, close to Metro stop. Booked a superior room and as is typical throughout many hotels in the EU, it was tiny. Had to go outside to change our minds. Barely enough room to walk around the double bed. Std. room' must be a sardine can. No soundproofing issues, fairly quiet. Front desk staff was exceptional and friendly. Plenty of pizza joints within a block or 2, which came in handy when we arrived late. Would stay here again.

      Our family found the hotel excellent for the price. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and good size. The bed room and the livving space are clean and large, but the kitchen is tiny, only allow 1 person working at a time. We didn't use the cafeteria but all front desk staff speak good English and helpful. The underground garage is tight for a mini van but managible and very secured - the elevator is code controled and you're given a key for the door. Immediate surrounding is quiet but there are family restaurants, supermarket and metro station right outside the hotel.

    The location of hotel is perfect; very friendly staff. We were staying there for two nights - two couples travelling together (cousins with their... husbands). We had enough privacy because both rooms had doors and entrance to the bathroom and toilet from the hallway, and we were able to make a little dinner for ourselves (salad and cold cuts ) - but kitchen is well equipped to do more; also very important to us: we had an opportunity to seat around the table with a bottle of wine and talk - something that you don't have in a regular hotel room. by Vicky K  from Miami Fl on 10/01/11

    The main selling piont of Citadines Presqu'ïle Lyon is it's perfect location, as you walk out the front of the Hotel your strait in to the heart of the main restaurant district and the main shopping area and only a short walk over the river to the old town. The staff where very helpfull and the secure parking under the hotel was good. The rooms where […] a bit dated and not having air con was the only real negative I could find. Read more

Man muß erst ins Hotel (und irgendwo auf der Straße mit Warnblinker halten) und bekommt erst dort die Beschreibung zum Parkplatz. Das Frühstück ist wie fast überall […] in Frankreich etwas spärlicher als man es kennt, aber völlig ausreichend.
