"Needed nothing more!"
Clean, quaint and updated for a steal! We were put in the cottages across the street, which have recently been renovated. It was like staying in a cozy guest house with a comfortable bed, convienent outdoor patio and next to the pool/hottub. Will absolutely stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great for the money"
Our room was newer than other rooms. Very nice room! Clean, spacious, comfortable, and it had a fireplace and kitchen. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Muffins, coffee and juice in the morning. This is my second stay here and I will be back! It's close to everything in the surrounding area (Pacific Grove & Monterey). The area is quie […] t. This hotel did not meet expectations. The accommodations are very dated and there are few amenities. The heater in the room was loud and we couldn't leave it on at night. The linens and towels were of poor quality. We were disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fantastic inexpensive hotel for a getaway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This place was great, all newly renovations, loved our room, full kitchen, wow, could have stayed forever!! Parking was a little tight but the place was fully booked so understandable, will be back with the great price we got!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for the price"
Stayed here for a friends wedding and it was great. They accommodated an early check in, attendant working the front desk was nice and accommodating. Location was good, surprised the rooms were split in half- meaning half the rooms were on one side of the street while the other half was on the opposite, but overall it worked. Hotel also offers cottage […] type rooms which was a nice surprise. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty nice room"
One thing that is worth point out is that I didn't have any hot water (so no showers for my brief overnight stay). Also heat seems to get piped in from a heater in the bathroom (which might be important for those considering an off season stay). Putting that aside, this room had great decor, great WiFi. I didn't make use of the patio (must bring a dog […] to enjoy it). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just ok, but not impressed"
If you are used to 2star quality, this hotel is ok, but if you are used to 3star of better, you will be disappointed. My wife and I stayed one night, but canceled out second night. Bed was uncomfortable, room was small, but staff was nice and room was reasonably clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Really, really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were super clean, staff friendly and the spa was lovely to chill out at night. Good location, too. Just a few minutes from all the sights and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very small room with a patio and no screen door. Too much money for space and comfort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice place to stay, super close to the amazing beaches and to the start of the 17-mile road. The room is clean, a bit tiny though. The location is great and very calm. I would visit again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Usually when we bring our dog and stay here, they set out a doggy bed and some treats. Nothing this time. Free WiFi, the sheet they handed us with username and password was wrong. There was horrible connection. I have given high regards to this place in the past, but this was probably my worst stay there ever.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"$75 a night only"
It was Pebble Beach Concours week end but almost a half a G note a night for this was painfull. The sink drain would stink when used.Genuine Expedia guest review
A nice, comfortable, clean accommodation. A bit tight on space but a wonderful, peaceful environment. Intend to return this October.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not worth the money"
Overall, a disappointing experience for the money. One chair in the room, no desk. Very small space in the room. In need of renovation especially the bathroom. The continental breakfast was coffee, OJ and a muffin. Had a cheap motel feeling. Nica access was, located within a few blocks from the water.Genuine Expedia guest review
Would definitely stay here again. It was close to some nice dining/drink establishments, was reasonably priced, and was comfortable. The only annoyance was being served a muffin-only breakfast without a single stick of butter in sight. I'm not sure if this was an oversight or done on purpose but it was aggravating. I would not stay here if you look […] for the best complimentary breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice stay without the extras"
This place is very cute and cabiny. We had to walk across the street for our breakfast of Costco muffins and juice. No milk for the oatmeal. On the second day, we got in a bit later, about 9am and all they had were poppyseed muffins. Overall, the room was okay. Nice, fairly comfortable, without the frills. The bed was very comfortable for me, but too […] soft for my husband. I actually thought it was one of the nicest hotel mattresses I've ever slept on. The shower looked like they took the glass doors off of the tub so it was kind of dingy looking along the edges. Also, the bottom of the shower/tub sounded and felt like we were going to fall through. The hot and cold were opposite of what the knobs said so at first, we thought we didn't have hot water. Small tv with very few channels. However, the room was quiet. We weren't disturbed by any neighbors and it was a full house the first night we stayed. Slept very, very well. I really think the biggest thing for me was the breakfast. It would have been nice to have some fruit or milk for the oatmeal. Aside from the edges of the shower, the room was pretty clean. I'm not sure I'd stay there again, but for the price, it wasn't bad. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice place for the price & close to action"
This place was hard to find if you are using an iMaps app (Beware!). This place was a good walk to Lover's Point, the Aquarium, and all the action in between. The neighborhoods you walk through are stunning, and the weather was beautiful. If you head away from the Aquarium, up further Lighthouse there is a nice beach with many rock and tide pools to […] explore. We stayed with our dog, and this place was great since it had a grass area for emergencies in the middle of the night. What was weird about this area was that ALL the parks did not allow dogs! Lover's point was a no dog zone too. But the beach at the end of lighthouse was dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed climbing the rocks and smelling all the interesting smells. Rooms are not plush but clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. The microwave fridge were crammed into bathroom area but worked perfectly. The bathroom with shower tub combo are cramped but again were in good working order. We will definitely b back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Pleasant Surprise."
I chose Sea Breeze pretty much at the last minute, motivated by the very reasonable price and the fact they accept dogs. The original plan was to visit Sta. Barbara or Carmel for a couple of days to clear my head and to briefly escape the intense heat of the Central Valley (105 - 108 degrees), but these places no longer had vacancies at the reasonably […] priced, dog-friendly hotels (reasonable to me $100 - $150/n) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Going back again"
The Sea Breeze is a lovely place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood just a short distance from downtown Pacific Beach (we walked there for dinner our first evening). The cabins are particularly nice and next time we go we will make sure to reserve one (we got lucky this time and got an upgrade). While the continental breakfast is fairly limited it […] was still very good. The muffins were especially good as was the coffee. I can't comment on the rest because that is all we had. "In all seriousness..."
The room as small, and the bed was too soft and the refrigerator didn't work. The maintenance worker gave us another one but didn't bother to take the old one out. He also gave us a story that they store the refrigerators without cleaning them. The maid service did an awesome job. The location was okay near the ocean/beach and near the aquarium and […] the parks but the hotel could use a revamp. The the hotel clerk was okay the hotel could defintely use a remake. Plus no bible in the dresser. What is a hotel without a bible! They were faithful serving muffins and orange juice every morning like clockwork and was good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
Accommodations quite enjoyed, especially for the price! Conveniently located, very comfortable bed with all the amenities needed to enjoy a relaxing time, even jets in the tub :) We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Pacific Grove! Better than a neighboring inn & suites which we have stayed with for many years. We've found a new "second […] home" in Pacific Grove. Cheers! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Clean, quiet and comfortable room"
Comfortable bed, clean, pretty quiet, nice staff. Wish it was a little closer to Cannery Row but it was close to the ocean, very nice overall, would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Upon booking the hotel, you guys told me that the pet fee was $25 dollars. When I arrived they told me it was $30, so that did not make me too happy, but the hotel did honor what you guys told me so that was very nice of them. I paid for two dogs and only got one dog bed and the bathroom floors need to be either steam cleaned or redone, they were pretty […] gross. Over all the stay was fine and in the future I might book a stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just what we needed"
Rooms were small but very comfortable and the service was very friendly and responsive. We had our 2 year old with us and the staff promptly provided a pack-n-play crib for our use overnight. We'd go back in the future.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Casual quiet comfort"
Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood, but still easy walking distance to beaches, sites and town. An uncomfortable bed on our first night was quickly and cheerfully remedied with a room change. Property is spacious and clean with picnic tables so you don't have to go to restaurants for all your meals. It wasn't listed on the website, but […] both rooms were equipped with a microwave and fridge, which was great. Staff is super nice, helpful and courteous. Two thumbs and four paws up! "Pick another hotel unless you love dogs in rooms"
We would not stay here again despite its ideal location. The first rooms we were assigned were adjacent to a room with two large dogs on the bed barking at us out the window. We refused this room and the next room had a terrible smell - pets and/or smoking with ashes visible on the front step. We refused this room and accepted a third. The wall heater […] did not work. Management was minimally responsive. Check-out starts at 8am (as does the "muffin and coffee service") and instructions for early check-out are almost non-existent; the "Night Team" telephone number rang through to another guest room once and flipped to voice mail another time. It wasn't worth the price and we couldn't wait to leave.... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely pet friendly inn"
First time at this location and we will definitely go back. The room itself was small, but very comfortable and clean and the bathroom appeared newly remodeled - very luxurious! My only suggestions are: 1) put the refrigerator and microwave on a stand so that you don't have to get on your knees to access, and 2) either pick up dog doody for the 25.00 […] charge, or make it very clear to guests that they need to pick up after their own doggies. I had a very comfortable 2 night stay at this hotel. It was located in a residential neighborhood so it was very quite at night and I slept soundly for 2 nights. I would stay at this hotel in the future and I highly recommend it to anyone who would like a nice quite area to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It was just OK"
Good size room for a single king. Bed was comfortable, but there was no desk in the room, no place to set up a laptop. There was only one chair in the room, easily moved. Only place to use laptop, on the bed. When I sat down in the chair I was face-to-face with the box spring of the bed. There were grease stains on the sheet that covered the box spring. […] The rug seemed sticky, might have been the dampness of the area and the inexpensive indoor/outdoor carpeting. The tub/shower was all one piece and very small, it was also old and I couldn't tell if it was dirty or just patched up. No handrails near or in the shower and the base was unstable. The microwave was on the bathroom vanity so when I went to plug the hairdryer, well, it blew a fuse on the entire side of the building. I had a job interview that morning, no hair dryer, the office didn't open until 8am and I was so intent on getting the dryer working that I didn't go back and read the sheet for the emergency number, but there was a hanging extension cord attached to the very small TV and the fridge, I unplugged those things and used that for the dryer. When I told the desk staff about it the minor drama they really were not very accommodating and did not offer any solution or a discount for a future stay. It was like I put them out by telling them about the problems. Wow. You get what you pay for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
