BreakFree Grand Pacific Resort - Caloundra

The condition of the room was not the best. The bed was old and needed replacing - mattress actually groaned! There was noise from the external a/c that made it hard to get to sleep at night. The shower had mould on the grout. The fridge had to be turned up to the max to keep food cold.

Our room was adequate for what we needed - clean and convenient, and the girls on reception were professional and helpful. We didn't check out any of the facilities at the hotel as the purpose of our trip was to catch up with friends who lived in the area. We would probably stay there again.

Hotel location was perfect and enjoyed being close to everything or within walking distance everything was just a stroll away however the furnishings need updating but the spa on the balcony with a sea view was a bonus. The Resort was very conveniently placed to the city, the beaches, the magnificent boardwalk and all of Caloundra's beautiful resouces. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days and would not hesitate to recommend this Boardwalk apartment. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The dedicated parking was another bonus at a busy time of year.

The unit had a great ocean view and was in an excellent location. The unit was clean and fairly modern. The beds were a bit hard and the unit smelt a bit funny when we first arrived but was fine once we aired it out. Overall a nice place to stay.

Pretty comfortable, clean, right on beach front was nice, but may be a bit noisy in the height of the season.Was nice and quiet for my stay. Although we arrived late on a sunday night, accessing the intercom and following directions for the key safe got us to our room. Even although ifwas May the pool was ok to swim in. The gym is looking a bit dated. I would recommended this hotel for a summer break.
