Need to upgrade the upholstery problems in the suite area, but the bed was comfortable and the shower great! Love having the lavatory separate from the toilet and shower. Breakfast was good and our teenage boys enjoyed it.

Only one night, so not bad. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Pillows were terrible. So soft and mushy you could turn them into balls. Zero support. Other than that, no issues.

I found it to be very good. I always stay at the Hamptons Inn. This was priced less. For the difference in money saving I would say that it was a excellent deal. The only negative was the parking problem and elevator. Only one elevator in the blg. Parking you can only enter on one side or front.

Breakfast was really good. Housekeeping was nice. The two bed suite had a nice area big enough to set up the pack n play and feed the kid at night (8 months). Could have been a little cleaner on the floors, but everything else was clean and worked out well. Hurricane Grill next door had a good Philly and burgers.

The only "complaint" I have is that I was hoping that there would be a fridge in the room. There was not. Overall, the room was fine. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was "okay" but about what I expected for a "free" one.

Housekeeping needs to move the furniture once in a while. We found nut shells under the sofa and other assorted little crumbs or pieces of paper. Otherwise the room was very clear and tidy.

I was coming to Tavares for a brief visit. I arrived late. Inititially, no one was at the front des, but after a minute, someone showed up. He had my reservation and I had a key and was in my room in under 10 minutes. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice, large TV, comfortable King Size Bed. Wireless internet was easy to log onto. Room was quiet. […] The bathroom was very clean and had a large showerhead and plenty of hot water. The complementary breakfast was well stocked and there was a nice dining area in the lobby with a tv and a large aquarium. Check out was a breeze. I did not use the gym or the pool, so I can't comment on those, but this is a convenient and clean place to stay with friendly staff. Read more

Alot of door slamming all evening and first thing in the morning. We complained but it did no good. The room was clean. The breakfast was lacking for a Holiday Inn. We stayed here about 4 years ago and the hotel has really deteriorated. We will not stay here again nor will we recommend it. For the money, the Sleep Inn in Leesburg was much better!

Not to sound like a snob, but I don't usually stay at Holiday Inns and I was bracing myself for a 2 star hotel. This hotel was truly exceptional and at a 4 star level. The room that I had (#302) had a king size bed, jacuzzi, and it was a corner room. We didn't do anything special to get it - merely booked on expedia! The breakfast buffet was better […] than many other continental breakfast bars, they had a hot food area with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and meat. I try to eat healthy and there were plenty of those options with cereal, yogurt, and even boiled eggs, which I really appreciate. The Tavares HIE is well-maintained & conveniently located for a trip to Mt Dora or surrounding attractions like Renninger's Antique Market. JJ Finn'sa locATED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE IS A Fabulous place for lunch, dinner or evening club entertainment. A perfect match!

Everything was great. Very quiet and very clean. My only decor change would be to move the full-length mirror outside the bathroom. The light from the bathroom reflects back onto the head of the bed. That was a little disturbing in the middle of the night. But, otherwise - we'd do it again. Thanks for asking.
