"Nothing Special Here"

Currently staying at the Oasis Resort. Have a 2 bedroom with den. The unit is dated. Unfriendly front desk. Had to call them to send someone to fix the blinds going to the patio. They would not open. I was told if I pulled it to hard and broke it I would have to pay for it. Bull Crap. Also the unit has the heat/ac set for 72 degrees. If you change it you will be charged a fee. The unit is next to the main street so always noise from cars. The pools are super small and so far we have found only one. Am sure there are more. The bikes that were included in the unit are old. This is great place for people 65 and over. Otherwise its not. Am sure there are much better and nicer places to stay within Palm Springs.
"Units are Tired"

We are here on a timeshare exchange. We've had better and we've had worse. We all agree we'd come back again after renovations are complete. Beautiful, mature grounds, pleasant staff. Nice pools and hot tub. Quiet and near everything by car. The downside is the kitchen cabinets are filthy as is the floor. They don't provide maid service for a week's stay. I know I should call the front desk, but it would be a hassle.
"Great location in Palm Springs!"

These units were in a really good location only a short drive to the shops and restaurants. The units ( we had a studio) were spacious and bright. There were several pools and lots of other amenities. The pools were warm to! The bathroom and kitchen were functional albeit the bathroomswere a bit dated. Would not hesitate to recommend the Oases or stay there again!
"Good location, good atmosphere"

We just finished a weeklong stay at this resort. It was centrally located and had nearby shopping, for your convenience. Still....a car is definitely recommended. The outside of the resort was visually appealing, well landscaped and well groomed, clean, & attractive. The buildings were also appealing (though lacking elevators.) It would be a pleasant community to live in, aesthetically speaking. It is gated and quiet, and very flat and pleasing place to take walks. It has 8 pools and hot tubs, and periodically, they have a beautiful fountain. The staff here was friendly and quick to respond to requests. The check in area has a beautiful entrance and a nice lobby and comfortable lounge area with big screen TV. In the check in building there was a small exercise room with about 5 different pieces of equipment. And Next to the main office they had a nice tennis court. The unit we stayed in was okay. A little oddly planned, but manageable. It had a queen size Murphy bed (a first for us). I figured it would be too hard to sleep comfortably, being basically a mattress on a hard platform, but I was wrong. It was quite comfortable. A little low, but comfortable. We had to do some furniture moving, in order to have the TV in front of the bed, instead of directly in front of the sofa that was immediately to one side of the bed, but that was doable. The air conditioning worked great. This was the first timeshare exchange that has had a gas range. And surprisingly, it was a studio that actually had a full kitchen with all the big appliances one would want. Even a washer and dryer. It had a full bath with shower only. It had a nice balcony with patio furniture and a large gas grill and utensils. The unit also had a garage and two bicycles to use. On the down side......The accessories were a little lacking. There was no roasting pan, platter, serving bowl, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Coffee was only provided once, at the beginning. Then you had to buy it if you wanted it. Oddly, there was no maid service offered, throughout our stay. Though housekeeping did replenish tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher powder, etc., if requested. But, the typical light cleaning and towel exchange was not done. While the unit appeared to be very clean, for some reason my feet were getting very dirty , very quickly. They would get black, in less than an hour, from what I assume to be dirt. My husband said maybe the stain from the hardwood floor was doing it, but I'm not so sure. At night, we found the grounds and sidewalks to be poorly lit, and a little unsettling. Even backing out of the driveway was disturbingly dark, to us. The pool and hot tubs were lit, themselves, but little or no deck lighting. If you find this to be helpful to you, give me a click below to let me know.

all rooms are pretty nice. they have studio, 1, 2, 0r 3 bedrooms and they all have bar-b-ques. if you are elderly or cannot climb stairs be sure and ask for a lower unit. there are many pools there so not a problem walking to a pool but some are adult only. nice grocery store across the street and kitchenette in unit..
"Perfect winter weather"

What a great stay for Thanksgiving. The kids loved the bikes, each unit comes with 2. Spacious units. The resort has 8 pools and 5 tennis courts. Everybody had a great stay. The units are older and could use some rehab. Service wasn't great partially due to language barrier. Definitely not Marriott personnel.
"Love the Oasis"

My wife and I have been going to the oasis for the past few years as I am a VI owner. We have stayed in the 1 bedroom unit and the 2 bedroom den. Once you've stayed in the den you don't want to stay in anything else. Situated like a 2 bedroom house. It's very spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, washer & dryer, 2 bicycles in the garage, and a grill on the patio. Rooms have always been clean and fully furnished. The pools and outdoor areas are really clean and nice. We look forward to our next visit.

First time at this resort. Agree with other reviews about the desperate need for upgrading. While the rooms are adequate, they very old and dated. Certainly not up to Diamond Resorts standard (we are DR owners)The grounds are quite nice, location is south of downtown, not walking distance to anything but easy to find. We had no real issues, but beware that no bathroom amenities are provided. We stayed with another couple, the 2 1/2 baths were a pleasant surprise. The upstairs unit has very steep stairs so be prepared to haul luggage! It is unlikely that we would stay here again.
"This place is a huge disappointment."

We traded our beautiful two bedroom timeshare in Lake Tahoe to stay in this below par property. I can honestly say that in 20 years of timeshare trades, I have never stayed in such a dump. The unit was in very poor condition. Grout missing from the chipped tile floors, paint chipping on the walls, stains on the ceiling, carpet was filthy and had to cover the sofa with the extra blanket in order to sit. I requested sheets to cover the furniture, but housekeeping never showed up. If I didn't have a doctor's appointment scheduled, I would have left the next day. As it is, it has been difficult to stay 4 out of 7 days. I plan to submit photos to Interval International. Oasis Villa Resort doesn't belong on their list of 5 star resorts. There was no security to prevent solicitors from ringing the doorbell on a Saturday night with a random magazine sales pitch. Creepy. We were in a two bedroom unit. Number 16. This unit has not been updated in 20 + years in my opinion. Shame on you.
"awesome place to stay"

great place to stay when a hotel room isn't enough. Its part of my time share so we get to stay here very cheaply. The 2 bed units are houses, they have a garage, a great patio with a bbq, kitchen, washer dryer, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and a murphy bed, and 2 flat screen tvs, very clean rooms. I thing there are 9 pools and hot tubs on the property, you can use any of them. There are bikes in the garage. The staff are great if you have a problem they are there quickly. They also have studios and 1 bed units I cannot say how those are but I have never heard a complaint. Looking forward to my next stay in Jan
