It was terrible the pool that they had listed on the website was discusting and could not be used it was so dirty and the building was run down and the trash was right as you walk out the door to the parking lot will not stay there again.

Drove 18 hours expecting to arrive and relax in the pool. . . unfortunately, there was no water in the pool. Went to get ice, but no ice in the ice machine. It was impossible to get the room cool enough. I will NEVER stay in another National 9 hotel.

It's an older hotel. The hallways and rooms are slightly musty and smell of stale faint smoke. Considering the prices were affordable I find the smell and location (which isn't that bad either) tolerable. It was quiet for our week stay with one exception. There was one night a group of construction workers were loud/obnoxious. I called the front desk […] to have the issue resolved and she was quick to remedy the issue. When she was unsuccessful in her attempt she had a bouncer from the hotel lounge take care of the issue. It was quiet from that point on. The beds were comfy, room temp was ok(take the bed furthest away from vent for best airflow), and the shower was alright. There was some uneven temps but nothing you can't handle. The maids were very polite, and the hotel restaurant was ok(a bit pricy for the quality). If my son were chosen for allstar baseball again if likely book a room here. Hotel used to be open in the front that is now behind a large glass wall that runs the length of the hotel. The inside of the glass smells like an old smoking bar with no air movement. The signs appear that the glass is there for security reasons and to keep an eye on who is entering and leaving the hotel. The sign on the front desk requires all locals […] to add an additional security deposit. The front of the hotel is also attached to the bar in the same sealed air cage that smells of old beer and BO. When running the AC in the room the air is sucked in from the enclosed space. The ‘cheap monthly rates’ on the sign out front have attracted a few travellers that sit with their doors and windows open attempting to strike up a conversation as you walk by. We were not surprised to see the pool in the back as a green, empty hole in the ground with a broken fence around it. Not the 3 or 4 star hotel that all the other 13 days were on the trip. This would not have been that bad if we were expecting it but I would say that this was the worse hotel we stayed in for years and we typically shoot for a 3 star. Read more

First off, they tried charging me for two rooms even though I cancelled the first room a week in advance. They claimed I never cancelled even though I had an email confirmation saying I did. I was forced to call headquarters and was put on hold for half an hour before they finally figured out their mistake. The rooms were very smokey, it looked like the bates hotel. Wallpaper was peeling, blood stains were on the comforter and the bathroom had pubic hair in the tub and sink. After half an hour of me cleaning it, we finally went to bed for 2 hours then got up and left because the smoke smell was so bad.

What a Dump!! Smoking rooms directly across from non-smoking rooms. Halls reeked if cigarette smoke. Nonchalant staff when resolving discrepancies. The rusty faucet and tub fixtures left us unsure as to the cleanliness. No AC and the temperature was set for 80 and we could not control it. The fan worked but became noisy when on for awhile. This hotel is located very close to a railroad track in the blue collar part of town. the hotel has a smoky lounge/restaurant with the hallways & lobby permeated with cigarette smoke, our non smoking room was relatively smoke free. For the price & duration of our short over night stay it was fine.
