Replicas of Shakespear and Anne Hathaways house and a short bus ride from downtown. Charming. Great deal.
Location.
The Victoria Marriott Inner Harbor is located one block from the convention center and two blocks from Inner Harbor, the departure point for whale watching. The property is three blocks from the Royal BC Museum and within six blocks of two ferry terminals.
Property Features.
Guests will be delighted once they enter the marble lobby with its fireplace, elevated ceilings, and elegant furnishings. Marriott's signature service standards prevail at this thoroughly modern hotel, and while it offers an array of amenities and services for business or leisure travelers. The location allowed us to walk to the places we wanted to see, and we enjoyed passing the beautiful view of the harbor. A perfect location!

What can I say? It was a last minute booking for a quick escape for my Mom's birthday. The location was great for shopping, sightseeing, exploring amazing restaurants, and just about anything else you'd want from the city of Victoria. This was a hotel where the staff not only did everything to help your stay be a great one, but exhibited fantastic […] service that went above and beyond the call of duty. Since it was a last minute booking, the staff was able to put together a special dessert and flowers to be delivered to our room for my mom's birthday in only a few hours so that it was waiting for us when we returned from dinner the same night. Just amazing. Would totally stay here again. Just a great experience. I haven't even talked about the beautiful view from our room! Read more

"In the heart of it all"
Very conveniently located hotel with excellent service. Only ate breakfast at the restaurant, but the buffet was bountiful! Extra plus was the make your own Belgian waffle and chef-prepared egg option with the buffet for no extra charge. Very typical Marriott--good standard place to stay. Not extra fancy, but you don't really need it.

The Victoria Marriott is located right behind the Empress Hotel. It is also right around the corner from the Pacific Coach bus station where we took a bus/ferry to Vancouver. This hotel is in the best location. It is tucked away on a quiet street but very central to shopping and dining in downtown Victoria.

"Fantastic Location and Friendly Staff"
This was as good of a hotel stay as we've had. The location was outstanding and within walking distance of everything you would want to do with the exception of Buchart Gardens which is about 25 minutes away by car or bus. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room extremely clean. We would stay again.

We were visiting Victoria for 3 days and this hotel was perfect for us. It is clean, modern and centrally located (although you can walk to everything in Victoria anyway).

We were VERY satisfied with our stay Sep 7-10, 2009 We paid a little more for the concierge room and it WAS well worth it. We were on the top floor and had access to a lounge on same floor with internet access, free non-alcoholic drinks anytime (entrance was with your room key). They served breakfast, mid day snack and dessert in the lounge as part […] of the concierge package. One of the dishes was hot. Excellent service, couldn't ask for more. "A little expensive, but worth it"
The location was very convenient to the harbor and major attractions, and I knew the hotel would be clean, safe and comfortable (including AC, just in case the weather was hot). Since I was by myself, I chose to pay a little more to be sure I'd feel good about where I was staying. It was worth it : )

"OKAY"
Wasn't outstanding, but the bed was nice. no view of harbor only of other buildings, so the balcony wasn't of any use. If I were to reserve again I wouldn't care about getting a balcony room since the balcony has no chairs and just faces condo buildings.

Our room was not terribly large and did not have a view, but was everything we needed it to be. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the service was the best I've dealt with (one bellhop in particular went above and beyond to help us make our dinner reservations). Booked several months in advance at a very good saving on standard tariff on the basis of accasional stays with this chain at other locations in the past. We were not disappointed. Hotel, weather, food....couldn't have asked for a better 3 day get-a-way...a late night cap and some munchies at hotel bar/lounge was excellent..even at 10:30pm...service wa excellent and well attended to. Hope do it again soon...

"Great room for the money."
The location was great. It was within 3 blocks of the harbour. Our stay was great except for the fire alarm going off at 1:30 in the morning. It was a false alarm but we have no idea why it went off. The guests were not provided this information. The alarm was bad but not as bad when the hotel tried to let the guest know it was a false alarm. We stayed in one of the Concierge Rooms and would eagerly return. We rode our bicycles over from the mainland, taking the Lochside trail to the Inner Harbour. They took care of our bikes, locking them up in a secure area, free of charge. We had expected to eat at restaurants, but the Concierge Lounge provided us with ample food, and a great variety.
