The location could not be any better. We could see the Dom from our window! The hotel pub was perfect, the room was modern and clean, and the restaurant had the best breakfast I've ever seen! The room was small, but hey, this is Europe, not the US. Restaurants, shops, and museums (including the chocolate museum) were all walkable. We are def. going to stay there again!

You cannot stay closeer to the airport. You walk from the Hotel elevator across to the the departure gates. Staff was very helpful with directions on using the train to get into the city.

It was a wonderful stay. The service industry in Germany varies greatly from that in the US. Keep your expectations in check. The hotel was very close to the Dom, train station, and several attractions we could simply walk to. Over all, it was a good value for this time of year.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and spole English very very well. On our last morning at the hotel we missed breakfast by a half an... hour, but they were still willing to serve us and layed out an amazing spread for us. The hotel is clean, although the rooms are a bit small, and there is no base to the shower: the water hits the bathroom floor and runs into a drain in the corner, leaving at least half of the floor soaked (don't put your clothes down!). The hotel is about 20 minutes by taxi outside of Dusseldorf's center, which is somewhat inconvenient and can get pricey. Also, there really isn't much around the hotel except big factories, which although making the location quiet, it also makes it a little boring. Overall, though, the hotel is excellent in service and quality and is extremely affordable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the vicinity of Neuss. by a Hotels.com guest on 11/24/10

Leider ist keine Duschabtrennung im Badezimmer vorhanden sondern nur ein Duschvorhang, damit das Wasser ebenerdig abfliesst also auch keine Duschtasse. Das Essen schmeckt auch sehr lecker, hätte nur bisschen mehr auswahl an Essen gewünscht. Das Hotel […] befindet am Anfang eines Industriegebietes was aber nicht weiter störend ist. The room was simple, but clean and we had everything we needed. A good shower, good bed, and a cop of coffee in the morning. The staff was very helpful, we could leave our rooms an hour later without any extra charge. For the low price we paid it was a great hotel.

Bei der Buchung ist Hotel Bastion für ein 4 Sterne Haus angeboten tatsächlich ist es nur 3 Sterne Unterkunft. Ungepflegtes Blick aus dem Fenster. Kleine defekte an der Ausstattung wurden nicht während des Tages behoben.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und nett. Eines könnte man jedoch noch verbessern. Ab morgens um 6:00 Uhr knallt die Verbindungstür zu den Zimmern. Mit lange Schlafen ist da nix. Ggf. könnte man zu bestimmten Zeiten einen "Türstopper" anbringen. Trotz allem würde ich hier jederzeit wieder einchecken.

Der abend manager gibt sich viel mühe, ist sehr freundlich.- Am tage waren keine auskünfte für transport mit Bus / Bahn erhältlich. Es fehlt eine übersicht zum erreichen von Bahnhof und -weiterfahrten in der umgebung Kölln Düsseldorf insbesondere weil sich das hotel am ende der welt befindet.-Die auskunft TAXI ist schlimm. I believe the hotel is much further away from Dusseldorf than said in the booking system. Anyway it took a lot of time to reach it with public transportation. And during the night it was impossible. Frühstück ist definitiv zu teuer für das was angeboten wird. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach und billig eingerichtet. Dies ist auch für das Badezimmer gleich. Von der Benutzung des Wasserkochers rate ich dringend ab!!!!! Werde dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen, da das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht zusammenpasst.
