First off, it seems silly to me that parking isn't included, but I was told right off that the car park was around the corner and 5 pounds a day. Well it was over 7 and when I asked about it upon leaving I was told "oops, must've forgot to tellcyou you have to validate. Nothing to do now". First the bed is in very poor condition the sofa bed was deep in the middle so my children was sleeping against each another. The pillow was as flat as anything . The breakfast was serve very tight in very small quantity if you are providing the breakfast why serve in such a manner. Next time I will spend a little more at a better hotel

Lovely big family room, however the tv didn't work and there was no phone in the room either. Staff made small ineffectual attempt to make it better. Parking is also difficult as you have to park at the station and only have a certain length of time.

Staff were welcoming and professional. Slightly odd entry to the hotel, via a back road and elevator to lobby. Sadly parking is not included and is at a nearby train station (£6per day). Check in was otherwise straightforward (after getting a parking ticket, going to park car, coming back and checking in). We were allocated a disabled room, interestingly, […] as we are able-bodied. Didn't request to move as it was quite spacious, although facilities were very low down (understandably!). Bathroom door lock was broken and lights in the bathroom kept turning off, but reported to reception on checkout and they were very understanding. I only stayed one night, but found the hotel to be fine. The room was very clean, but could have benefited from some power outlets near the desk or tables. I was only able to find a place to power my laptop by the door, where its convenient for the cleaning staff, but not for guests. The breakfast was fine. I can't eat wheat, but there were eggs and […] fruit, so good to have some choice. The staff was very pleasant. My only complaint is that if you want to use WiFi in your room there is a separate charge, which makes the hotel less appealing for business travellers. Read more

Nice modern hotel, value for money with simple services. No cooked breakfast or food on weekends, but plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Area is run down, and some street noise, but not overwhelming. Would recommend for overnight business traveller.

Stayed with our 11year old grandaughter who had to sleep on a sofa bed. The mattress on the sofa was no thicker than a duvet. Our bed wasn't much better and the room was to stuffy.

Great value, surprisingly nice breakfast. Rooms were clean and functional and hotel was reasonably quiet. Would recommend for a good value place to stay. There is no parking, but there is a pay and display nearby. There is an area to park for half an hour immediately outside which helps with dropping off luggage first.

I chose this hotel for a mixture of price and nearby amenities. It's an easy walking distance from the train station and right on the town. Being vegetarian the free breakfast offered was very disappointing, my boyfriend (who will eat anything) was disappointed at the choice also so we didn't try it. Fortunately there is a wetherspoons just around […] the corner. There were no wardrobes as such, simply open shelves and a short clothes rail with a handful of hangers, not a lot of space for clothes or bags. As we were only there for a couple of nights this was sufficient for us but I can imagine people staying longer might be at a loss. After our first night housekeeping came and changed our towels but merely tucked the duvet in over crumbs and our nightclothes. On the plus side we had a sofa in the room opposite the TV, which was a nice touch. Air conditioning was a life-saver for our blistering weekend and though there was no bath there was a nice roomy walk-in shower. Bed was large and fairly comfortable. Read more

Stayed as a single for 5 nights over Easter. A modern medium rise hotel block with two efficient and fast lifts. An excellent group of staff on Reception, friendly, helpful and informative. Check in was handled immediately. Housekeeping was perfect, well above average. The location of the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the station, very close to the town centre and close to many eating places. The rooms were comfortable with a large bed, a settee and a large slim TV. However, it must be appreciated that there is no bath, just a shower. Also the hanging and storage space is a bare minimum and really only sufficient for one person for one night. There is no stand for one's case. Therefore with little storage space and no drawer, one has to almost live out of your case on the floor. I did not have to use the nearby discounted car park but looking at the charges, five nights and six days would have amounted to an appreciable sum. I would certainly stay there again. Read more

The sofabed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was so thin and narrow, and we kept sinking into the middle. The range of breakfast was not nearly as good as the Holiday Inn Express in Exeter. Otherwise fine.

We chose this hotel cause it was on our route. The reception was open and inviting and took no time to book in. The staff were welcoming and helpfull. Our room was excellennt and very clean and smart. Breakfast was simple but enough. Overall a great stay and we would recommend this hotel.

On arrival we were greeted by a police van at the drop off stand at the Hotel. The hotel is surrounded by pubs and clubs and the streets are filled with semi-intoxicated people enjoying themselves. The hotel itself was clean and the personnel were efficient. Overall a nice hotel in the centre of Swindon. Staff are great, room was clean and relaxing however, do not expect too much with regards to the hotel restaurant. Food was alright but not great however, this is offset with loads of other eating places well within walking distance. Its a budget hotel but is better than most.
