The price of the hotel was excellent for the location so I was expecting a less than decent room. The room was very big with a kitchen and it was very clean. The help was also great.

"Suite" was much smaller than advertised and we were promised a fold out bed, but did not get one. (One of our party had to sleep on the very tiny sofa.) The "suite" was in desperate need of a good cleaning. Some of the dishes put away in the cabinets were dirty, the bathtub was just plain yucky and we found things left behind from other guests (gum wrappers, tissue and some papers). The "suite" also needed some repairs. The faceplate of the lightswitch in the bedroom was cracked, the carpet was stained in several places and sofa arm had been drawn on. Finally, the AC wasn't cold even though it read 65 degrees and the "buffet breakfast" was anything but.

The hotel was excellent - clean, new, spacious, and very conveniently located. Just be aware that because of its location in downtown New Orleans parking is at a premium. It costs an additional $26 per day (no hourly charges) and as there was nowhere to park while we registered we couldn't avail ourselves of the lot. Parking across the street costs the same, but also has hourly rates.

This was a nice, clean room with good location and great service from the staff. I would gladly stay here again.

The price was good. Location a few blocks to the heart of French Quarter which was good walkig distance. The staff was very helpful. On that Saturday, I need helped zipping up my dress and my fiance left for a wedding already. I called the front desk (Paul) and he sent a nice woman to help me put my dress on in my room. Thank goodness! We also saved money, because the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. The only issues was it was no parking. But at night the parking lot across the street from hotel was free.

No parking lot-actually small was not informed.

I booked a one bedroom suite through Hotels.com, but was given a studio. Staybridge would not honor the booking, even though I had my written confirmation, etc. Staybridge made no efforts to resolve the situation -- said that was tough. Very much unconcerned with any inconvenience to my family. Moreover, the facility had housekeeping issues and an elevator issue requires the fire department. But the breakfast was great!

This was a great bargain for the price. My boys enjoyed all the services.

Comfortable, large room with kitchenette. Five adults had plenty of room: 2 queen beds, plus a good-quality pull-out sofa. Shower was a little weak. Very accommodating staff. Convenient location: across the street from casino; 2 blocks from RiverWalk; 6 blocks from French Quarter; 8 blocks from Superdome. Not really a romantic or high-style kind of place, but safe, convenient, clean, comfortable, spacious, pleasant; excellent value for the money!

Convenient walk to much that N. O. has to offer. Great value for the money. Very friendly staff!

Great hotel value. Large rooms, friendly people, good location. The afternoon happy hour and snacks are an added bonus.

This hotel served our purpose in having a safe, clean and convenient hotel in which to stay while in town for the Sugar Bowl. Parking was a problem (we arrived at 4 pm - check in time, and hadn't planned ahead for parking thinking that by staying in the hotel we would automatically have a place to park - unfortunately, by the time we arrived all the parking spaces were taken and we had to unload the car and then try to find a relatively safe place to park). We did find a space about 3 blocks away, which ended up costing about $5 less than the published parking rate for the hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean, and within good walking distance to the Super Dome (about a mile). I would definitely stay here again, but try to get to the hotel much earlier in order to alleviate the parking problem for myself.

Hotel was in good location, not too close to the partying, short walk to Bourbon St. Casino right across the street, staff was super. Will stay here again, hopefully my team will win the Suger bowl next time!

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Everything was clean and well-kept. We had a full kitchen, dishes, extra pillows, two televisions, good supply of towels, a very friendly staff, and a terrific breakfast. The hotel is a short walk from the Riverwalk and Aquarium. The streetcar brought us to the French Market and French Quarter. I will definitely go back to this hotel whenever I go to New Orleans.
