The hotel itself seems to be rather far from stores and other locations one may need to visit and the staff seemed somewhat unhelpful. Good the first and second day, but seemed almost not present at all. The parking garage was also something of a hassle as well due to the narrow ramps to each level. Regardless of these setbacks, what you're getting for the price alone would make me want to stay there again.

The only down all was internet access, they say you have dail-up access in your room but when I called the girl at front desk she was not aware of it and told me that there was free high speed in the lobby so I went down there only to find the my laptop could not pick it up. But it did pick up service from a surrounding hotel and wanted us to pay $9.95 for the day so that was good cause we were able to use it in the room as well. But other than that the stay was great and I would come again.

I expected this hotel to be very crappy from a lot of the reviews I read but my friend insisted we get this one because it was 50 percent off. When I got there the outside and lobby was not all that impressive but it wasnt horrible, the staff wasnt friendly but she made an effort. But the room was very spacious and nice with a great view of the ocean. There was a terrible odor that lingered the first day we were there but it eventually dissappeared. I suggest this hotel hire a more friendly staff and use cleaning products that dont make the room smell like a warehouse. Other than that the place was very nice for the price I paid.

That is what I was told when I went to the front desk for some more blankets. That this was not a "Hotel" that it was a home owners resort. Lets start with the good; good location, nice beach, decent pool area. The bad; terrible parking, front desk staff were rude the whole stay, rooms were smaller than expected. Let me tell you how the stay went: We arrived at 12:30 pm in Myrtle Beach. We had been on the road for 16 hours so we decided to see if maybe they had our room available for an early check in. They said no, which is acceptable, and that check in was a 4pm. Came back a 4pm, was told that our room was not ready and that it could be closer to 5. At 4:45, after complaining, the front desk lady let us go to our room. We went to ask for more blankets, because the fold out sofa did not have any, when we asked, they said it was not a hotel and that it was a homeowners resort, and the homeowners would have to pay for more blankets. The toilet overflowed, we called to have them come clean it up, and put our towels down. They came to clean it up, and then refused to give us towels. The front desk lady hung up on us. She told us that we would have to call housekeeping in the morning to get new towels. Hotels.com was contacted about canceling the reservation and booking somewhere else. They called the manager, and all the items that we needed were there within 5 mins of hanging up with hotels.com. In the welcome book in the room it said towels were available at the front desk for the pool. They either did not have them, or refused to give some out the whole trip. The 7th floor restaurant was closed the whole time we were there. The pool side bar was not open, which is understandable, it was only 70F there. If you drive anything other than a sub compact, be very careful in the parking garage. There is an outdoor parking lot to the north of the building, which we used because we had a van. There are marks all over the walls of the parking garage, and there is ba

This was a wonderful stay. We had good service, and the room was clean and comfortable. We booked only a few days before our trip, so on short notice, it was especially great to find such a comfortable hotel. Granted, we went during a cold season, and the halls are exposed to the weather, so it was a chilly walk. Other than that, the hotel was great. The parking on the other hand needed some attention. We have a GMC Yukon, which doesn't really fit in the parking deck. There is outside parking on the first floor for oversized vehicles, but cars were parking there too. At night once most people had returned to the hotel, it was hard to find a space. Had we booked during a more popular time frame (like summer time) we probably would have had a hard time finding a place to park if they do not enforce their parking rules.

It was a very nice room. I stayed there on Valentines Day, and earlier that Day i had sent my boyfriend on a romantic scavenger hunt. His last stop was here. The beach is on "our beach" so it just made it all the more better. Our room wasn't exactly ocean view, we had a room that was positioned on the side of the building, but you still had a great view of the beach. They don't offer complimentary breakfast, but they do have a cute restaurant on the 7th floor. It wasn't all that great, but it was fairly cheap. Most of the food was cold, but you could have your eggs special ordered which would come out nice and warm (this is what we chose to do). The parking garage is really tight. It is almost too small for the cars to fit in. You can see where numerous cars have scraped the cement trying to go up a level, or down a level. We certainly did and we drive a Toyota Camry. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would recommend it, as long as you park outside of their parking garage!

The only issue I have is that the pool closes at 10:00 p.m. and if you do not get to the pool first thing in the morning you will not get a chair because most of them are reserved before the pool opens.

There is a restaruant on the premises but it only serves breakfast after that it is closed for the day. We had to have our room changed 4 times when we got there because our first original room was not the room we were suppose to have, then the second room was smelly etc, etc. The best thing about this place is it is only across the street from the beach so the ocean views were very nice.
