this hotel is old and is not the quality of most other homewood suites. I wont stay there again.

Wireless Internet: The Wireless Internet in the hotel did not work properly either night of our stay and we could not connect to the Internet. Microwave: The microwave in our room was noisy and not working properly. We reported this on the first night of our two night stay. We were told that they would try to replace it. Shower Pressure: The shower pressure in our room was reduced because water came out of the tub faucet, even when all of it should have been coming from the shower head. We reported this following the first night of our two night stay. Nothing was changed and there was no communication to us about it. Towels: We tried to conserve water as the signs in the hotel rooms state; we hung the towels up and did not put them on the floor. They were replaced anyway. Hotel staff was accomodating and friendly. I could hear a little upstairs noise but other than that the room was quiet. Bed was comfortable and I like having the bedroom separate from the living area.

Was surpised that only one bathroom in a one bedroom room. We out down 5 peopke and they didnt take in that in account fir shampoo and towels n such. It was very small roon. I had stayed in one simplar Homewood. Not same at all.

My family and I stayed on the way to and from our Arizona destination. The first night, our room seemed like it had not been cleaned--the bed comforter had a stain on it; the shower had open bottles of shampoo and soap; the closet had a dirty sock; they pull-out sofa bed was in horrible condition! We called the front desk to notify them and after waiting […] for 45 minutes with no one coming to our door we headed out for a quick dinner. Upon our return to the room, someone had just left a stack of bath towels and a bag full of toiletries. We ended up roughing it for that evening since we were just sleeping for a few hours. On our 2nd night, our pre-paid room was already given to someone else. We got put into a studio instead of a suite (we paid for the suite). My credit card got charged twice for the room on each night even though it was already pre-paid. My husband called to speak with a manager and was promised a call-back which never happened. the room was nice, but very disappointed with the housekeeping stocking of supplies The first night we ran out of kleenex and paper towels. The next day the kleenex were replaced, but not the paper towels. Also a dish towel was removed, and not replaced.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations in every way, from comfort to convenience. The staff were friendly and provided great service. It was so nice to sit down in the lovely fireplace area after nine plus hours of driving, to a tasty "pasta" dinner. We will stay here any time we are in Amarillo.

This is our second stay at a Homewood Suites. We liked everything except for the following: bathroom sink very slow to drain, tank on toilet leaked water making noise, most noticable at night, and bath towels were as rough as the bath mat. We were in room 207. The coverlet was stained, and should have been changed out.

Pool was murky so we didn't swim. Nice hotel but breakfast was awful. They kept running out of everything and staff was put out when asked for something (like coffee). Bagels had mold on them and staff was not happy with us for politely pointing it out . Booked this hotel for a one night stay. We had stayed here before and was expecting the same thing. Good things - prompt check in, large room/suite. Bad things - the annoying guests in the room above us with the pitter patter of teenage feet. We had to call 2x about it. First time front desk called us back. Second time, the people were doing it on purpose […] because they stomped and knocked on our door at the same time an hour later. Super annoying at 11:00 am with two kids. The hotel overall was nice, but there were some things I was not happy with. I did not have enough towels and tried to call the front desk and could not get through. The room door was defective and you had to lift it to close it plus the was a gap in the doorway from the door not hanging straight. We loved this hotel. The room was beautiful. This was the first night of a 4 night trip for us. We were on our way to our destination and stayed in Amarillo the first night. The one thing I noticed was the handle on the toilet was very loose. I looked in the reservoir and noticed the nut that holds the handle on had unscrewed, I just screwed it back on then it worked just fine. Also the seat on the toilet was very loose. The bed was not that comfortable, but was sleep able.
