Just at the foot of the snow mountain, amazing scenery, hot spring, large room. Wonderful hotel! However it is a little expensive and far away from the town and the airport. Whatever, it is valuable for the great scenery.

hotel and room were amazing. Staff was friendly and very helpful. the rooftop hottub was just what was needed after a day of hiking. only downside to stay was the murphy bed did not provide the most comfortable sleep. Overall I would recomend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel itself was nice. It was clean and the staff was very helpful and accomadating. The room had bathroom upgrades and a nice kitchenette. My only disappointment was the lack of discription regarding the "studio" room. It had a 'Murphy bed' or a wall pull down bed. I wish there was a specific reference or description of the sleeping accomadations. […] It became cumbersome to pull down the bed if I needed to take a afternoon nap or whatever else you may choose to do on a bed at noon. We have been staying at the Teton Mountain Lodge for years, ever since they first opened. It is the best place to stay at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or their sister hotel next door, the Hotel Terra. You can ski in or out right to the lifts. Since childhood I have loved the Mangy Moose restaurant in Teton Village and visit whenever near Jackson. How nice to have found a perfect place to stay there too! Stayed in mid October 2011, great room w/fireplace, huge closets, large bathroom, and very comfortable beds with lots of comfy pillows. Cascade grill very good food at reasonable prices. Couldn't beat the location for visiting the Nat'l Parks, skiing and 10min outside of Jackson Hole. Would stay there again anytime!

This place is great. The room was very nice and the fireplace was very romantic. The only downside was the road loop from the park to the hotel was closed, so we had to drive thru Jackson to get to Teton NP.

The Teton Mountain Lodge is a nice place. I believe that since I made a "hotels.com" reservation and got a somewhat discounted rate I was placed far on the road side of the hotel. Perhaps this was by chance, but I was put all the way on the left side of the hotel facing the road, where you could hear the traffic all morning and it does wake you up. […] The air conditioning unit which is based in a closet has a compressor which is relatively loud and also wakes you up from time to time as it goes off and on. The beds are comfy and they give you a solid coffee maker which makes good coffee with glass coffee mugs. It seemed like everything in the room is for sale and they're ready to charge your credit card if you take anything including the stuffed bear and shampoo dispensers which are aluminum and are not refilled after your first night. You can buy new ones in the gift shop for a price. They have a decent roof top whirlpool which is fun and worked for me, and apparently you have use of the spa and pool which I didn't get to. Overall, I had a very long walk past the spa to get to my distant elevator and I was always awaken in the morning by traffic and the loud air system in the room. The bell service was very friendly and was always there to help and the front desk did offer to call any restaurant and make a dinner reservation. Its just that the young lady picked the wrong person to put on the side of the road and overall it left me with mixed fealings about the place. 3 stars. Read more

Very nice hotel with some drawbacks. The air conditioning unit kicks on every 30 minutes or so and is very loud. Also, as with most hotels, when the neighbors let their doors slam at 4am, the entire floor hears it. They tried to give me a double bed even though I reserved a King bed. There weren't any Kings available the first night, so we suffered […] for the first night until being able to change rooms the second night. The Cascade restaurant was very good for breakfast. Teton Village is the best place to stay in the area. Teton Mountain Lodge is better than the Snake River Lodge. We've stayed both places. Bathrooms are excellent as was the shower/bathtub. Other than the AC noise and the door slams that weren't the fault of the hotel, the place is highly recommended. Read more

Hotel is a condo/timeshare resort renting rooms and suites. We rented a one bedroom suite in September. Beautiful accomodations. Restaurant, and whole hotel for that matter, a bit pricey but worth the money. Restaurant was good. Service was excellent with mostly Eastern European young workers. We were touring Yellowstone. Not sure this is the best hotel […] choice for that. Distance of 60-70 miles from hotel to south entrance of Yellowstone and speed limits are low 30-45 on the trip, so plan on 1 1/2 to 2 hours-each way. Hotel about 10 miles north of Jackson Hole and that is an easy trip. Enjoyed the tram and Teton Village, where the hotel is located. Road in front of hotel going north turns rather primitive (gravel) for a ways, but is a straight shot to Yellowstone and is senic. We saw more wildlife (moose, elk, antelope and beaver, on that 10 mile road than in all of Yellowstone. All in all, a nice hotel contributing to a great trip. Would certainly stay again. Read more

Beautiful hotel with easy access to Grand Teton National Park. A small portion of the road is dirt, but it is well maintained and easily accessible in any vehicle. Also close to Jackson (aprx. 20 min drive). Only a couple of restaurants in the immediate area, but we drove to Jackson each night to eat. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and our kids […] loved the swimming pools and hot tubs. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Tetons. Read more

My wife and I just spent two nights here and everything was beyond our expectations. First, we were bumped up one room class because of a cancellation, at no charge. The bell-man was extremely friendly and knowledgable. In fact, I was most impressed when he was showing us our room and the ameneties. He noticed the ice-cube tray was not full so he filled […] them and then went to the ice machine and got two bags of ice for us. I've stayed in many very nice hotels, and they probably would have done the same thing, but it is nice to see such a level of attention to detail and customer service. The restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and not pretentious at all. We didn't use the spa, but the pools and roof-top hot-tub were great. The service was incredible. All of the staff were helpful and genuinely friendly. We had a room with a murphy queen bed (drops from the wall) and full kitchen including a gas fireplace and small deck. The room was the size of a small efficiency but the quality of the construction eg. granite countertops, full glass 2 person shower felt like a five star […] hotel. Our room at the Teton Mountain Lodge was lovely; however, the customer service fell flat! While checking out of hotel, our camera and laptop were taken by the people checking out beside us. When we told hotel that camera and laptop were gone, they did a general search of the lobby and said there was nothing more they could do to help us. Thinking that […] we had been robbed, we asked them to call the sheriff. They refused. We asked if there were video cameras recording lobby activity, they said it would not help, it would not show needed area. Once my husband and I contacted the sheriff (on our own) and reported the theft, the hotel complied and allowed video viewing. The Deputy and hotel manager found video imagery of person leaving lobby with my bag. The hotel did not called to let us know that video showed the camera and laptop being taken by another guest or that measures to contact guest were being made. Even after the property was discovered and the matter was deemed an accidental, still the hotel did not contact us. We found out when the sheriff’s office contacted us to attain the address of where we wanted our luggage returned. The hotel would not work with us or speak to the issue unresolved or resolved. I could not have been more disappointed in the lack of hospitality demonstrated by the Teton Mountain Lodge. They are a pretty business on the surface, but God help you if there is a problem and you need support service. Read more

I picked this hotel because my husband had pointed it out in the list of Expedia possibilities, and I thought he was giving me his top choice. I later realized he had wanted me to do more research and not necessarily pick the Teton Mountain Lodge, but I am glad that I ignored the huge price tag and made the reservation thinking that it was this hotel […] or nothing. The balcony facing the mountains was a wonderful place to have our coffee in the morning, and the bathroom is designed for spa-like relaxation. I highly recommend the sage bath products. My husband and I had smelled wet sage a few weeks before when we were on the road in Wyoming, and I had commented that I would love sage soaps, so it was a special treat to find this theme in the bathroom. Delicious! Another wonderful surprise was the Murphy bed. My husband and I have trouble with our backs when we sleep on hotel beds that are too soft. I expected to feel crippled after a night of lying on the pull-down bed, but no such torture occured. One caveat: if you must have silence at night, this might not be the place for you. The Murphy bed is near the window, which makes for a beautiful view when waking, but also means that nighttime noise from the families entering the hotel below travels to the would-be sleepers above. The noise is not so bad that I wouldn't stay at Teton Mountain Lodge again though. If you have the money, stay here. Read more

The room was small, crowded and dark. The Murphy Bed squeaked at every move and was extremely uncomfortable...almost like sleeping on a board. Once the bed is down, it's very hard to navigate around the room.

Took a ski trip to Teton Village with my 20 year old son. The location of Teton Lodge is fantastic. A very short walk to restaurants and lifts. We had a great experience at this hotel.
