Much more than what expected. I would classified it a 4*. Both suites very spacious, clean, Cable TV, and with nice view of the river. Breakfast served daily in your dining table at your suites. Like entering lock down,. Safety is one thing but the number of locks one must go thought to enter a room here is crazy. It might be good for a single women staying for a couple of weeks as the suites are a complete apartment but for a couple of nights it was just much more than was needed.

excellent accommodations at reasonable price. 10 minute walk from main train station, though there is a trolley stop literally outside the hotel. Helpful staff, clean suite, good breakfast delivered to the room every morning. would definitely stay again.

This hotel is very modern and hi-tech, with lots of gadgetry but no explanation of how to use them. Took a while to figure them out. Front-desk staff is very friendly and tries to be helpful, but as they double as bellhops and concierge they are often not present. Breakfast is sumptuous. Lots of lack of attention to little details.

The suit given to us was specious and clean. Furnishing was of good standard. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is of good quality. The hotel does not have any proper waiting area. Our flight arrive at Zurich at around 0630 and reached hotel before 0800. we had to wait till around 1115 for check-in. Although their check-in time is 1500 but staff made efforts […] to get us the suit as early as possible which we do appreciate. After tiring journey if one has to wait for few hours on a normal chair is not one would expect at a "four star" hotel. A waiting area furnished with comfortable sofas will be appreciated by guests who would arrive few hours before the checking time as flights arrival times at Zurich from East and North America is normally in morning. This was also pointed out by me to Hotel staff at the reception but did not get any satisfactory response. How ever I wish to thank the hotel staff for their efforts to get us the suit within three hours of of our arrival. Read more

The suite is spacious, but air-conditioner is very old and can not be regulated. Since the windows are also locked you have to sleep with no fresh air. Also it's a very small TV, and a LOT of lights/ blinds/ TV switchers ( >12) that are very confusing... I will not stay there anymore.

Hotel EMA was located near the train station - but uphill. One may want to take the tram with luggage. It has modern, roomy suite accommodations that are large in size. We loved EMA house. The front desk reception was excellent, their attention to security (due to the fact that no attendant would be there after 8:00) was very reassuring. They upgraded us to a suite which was phenomenal. We would go back there again without a second thought!!

Huge rooms and great service. Not in the heart of the downtown area, but an easy 15 minute walk to Old Town and 10 minute walk to the central Zurich station. The hotel is located about a ten minute walk from the Old Town area. It is an up-scale, business client oriented hotel with generously sized suites with partial views of the river. Rooms are kept very clean and offer nice bathrooms with modern styled fixtures. Positives: good value for the moderately high price (Zurich is expensive), very helpful staff, […] located in a quiet section of town, lots of in-room ammenities like substantial terry cloth robes and slippers, electric plug adaptors and free bottled water in the room (but really, who needs it in Switzerland?), free in-room breakfast served at your leisure, heavy metal doors with complex locks for vault-like security, large in-room safe. Negatives: lack of immediately close-by dining and shopping opportunities (but a ten minute walk in a safe neighborhood gets you to all that you need), air conditioning doesn't allow you to set room temperature, only fan speed, only a very limited space for undergraound car parking that is difficult to find despite English printed directions (and if you mistakenly drive past due to the small and subtle entrance signage, you will spend fifteen to twenty minutes driving your way back to the hotel in terrible Zurich traffic, but access back to the hotel from the parking garage is every easy through an elevator. All in all, this hotel is a great find and a good value relative to other hotel prices in Zurich. Our family would happily stay here again (now that we know where to park!). Read more

We wanted a hotel that would allow all four of us to stay in one room but not too crowded. EMA all-suites fit the bill perfectly without being too crazy-Zurich expensive. My husband and I spent one night at the EMA house and stayed a few nights at the Marriott Zurich (only for purposes of meeting up with a larger group). Overall we were really satisfied with our stay and the location was very easily accessible from the train station. The breakfast here was also very good and filling. We are definitely eaters and really enjoyed the breakfast. I have to mention that the front desk staff was super nice and helpful. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel after our flight from Dulles that arrived at 8am (we couldn't check in until 3pm which is standard for most hotels). Overall a good experience. Clean and very well organized. No frills, but not a dive either. Great location. About a 5 minute walk across the river to the Bahnhoff and about 10 minutes to get to the old section of town. They also have the option […] to rent a very wide selection of movies from the front desk with a refundable deposit. Unfortunately it is in VHS format! Parking was easy for us, since we were there over the weekend and the few spaces in front of the hotel were open. It is in a very quiet street and there are a few pizza parlors and an Italian and African restaurant nearby. Immediate need groceries (water, milk, sundries) can be purchased from the wide selection of merchants in the train station. Very secure facility with multiple door locks to get to the elevator and the hallways. The front desk only works limited hours into the evening, so make sure any requests or movie rentals are done before you go out for the night. Would definately stay again. Read more

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very modern, everything is electronic and woks perfect. The building is in excellent condition, everything looks like new, the rooms are huge, the breakfast is great and always in time. To the rail station is only a 15 minutes walk.
