This hotel is great for the price. Nice and quiet and clean rooms and huge beds!!! All the front desk people are nice. Great place to stay!

We were quite happy with the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The price was great, and they had an added specialty at breakfast with waffles and sausage and gravy. There were few restaurants to choose from at this location, but just one exit south, which was quite close, there was a wide choice of restaurants.

the bed was nice , the bathroom door and tube were dirty, the lotion in the bathroom had been used, the sugar pack for the coffee in the room had been open and the breakfast was not ready and a few guest had to wait for it

I read the reviews of the Super 8 on this site, and really wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was polite, and even let me check in early. My room was clean, with the standard hotel room smell, the AC worked, bathroom was clean, sheets clean and the bed comfortable, towels clean, the pool was clear and refreshing, […] the grounds maintained pretty well. The breakfast was a little hectic - I arrived the same time as a small tour group - but the staff kept everything restocked and the tables wiped off. Waffles, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, cereal. Most likely this was once a good motel. But the years of neglect have taken a real toll. There were many unrented rooms and we were given a King non-smoking room 2nd floor in the rear. Once entering the room it was apparent that it was going to be a bad experience. The door had gaps letting in light, towels were stained, carpet dirty and stained and […] the furniture was shabby and had pieces broken. The wardrobe had only one hanger and it was broken. We checked in at midnight and were very tired. I'm not a complainer. I don't complain to get free stays. But I will warn any one who will listen not to waste time or money at this motel. I do intend to contact Super 8 give them some photos of our room. If this is representive of all their rooms here I would suggest they consider another occupation. Read more

I had stayed in Super 8's before, so I wasn't too worried. But the peeling wall paper and cob webs had me discouraged upon entry. It looked like the chairs and comforters were pretty new, so that was good. The bathroom needed a deep clean, the shower stall was stained and dark, and there was so much dust behind the door when you were in there, that […] it had obviously not been mopped out in a very long time. We are all well aware of the germs and bed bugs that end up in mattresses, and it was shocking to me to find the mattress covered only in a small pad covering only the middle and a sheet. This does NOT protect against spills, germs, allergens, or bed bugs. They sell mattress covers in Wal-Mart, please invest! We rented ajoining rooms. When I opened the door the horrible smell about knocked me over. It smelled likes dogs had been in there peeing for weeks without being cleaned. Nasty! Very run down and dirty. I was disappointed as I read other reviews. Bathroom filthy. Musty smell in the room. Dirt piled up in the corners, dirt or blood smudged down bathroom door, hair on the floor, coffee maker had coffee all over it. Just gross.

My mom and I stayed in this hotel for a convention after being unable to find other hotels in the area with an available room. Needless to ay, Super 8 was not our first choice but we took it anyway...and we were pleasantly suprised. The first room we were given did not look like it was thoroughly cleaned from the last guests. The bath mat looked used and thrown over the side of the tub. The towels were sloppily put in/on the shelves, so gave you the impression they were not fresh towels. There was an empty, used cup left on one of the nightstands and the chair and sofa were so […] heavily stained, we wouldn't sit on them. Only one of 3 lightbulbs worked in room. We called the desk and got another room, which wasn't a lot better, but at least it looked like it was cleaned after the last use. However, this bathtub was stained and there were footprints on the wall across from the toilet. There were other marks on the walls of the room, which could have been washed off. The chair and sofa were not stained, but there was a cigarette burn in the sofa. We stayed in this room but chose not to bathe in the stained tub. In this room, only 1 of 4 lightbulbs worked. We arrived around 8:00pm and didn't get settled till 9:30 or so, (because of having to change rooms and carry all our luggage twice), and had been counting on a good night's sleep to continue our travels. Unfortunately, we didn't sleep very well, so got back on the road by 4:00am. We were very disappointed in this hotel, and will never stay at a Super 8 again, and would never recommend them to others. Overall pleased with my 3-day stay despite having to go to the front desk to have my room key reprogrammed every day. Room was comfortable but could have used an update - new carpet and new bedspreads would have made a great difference. Despite this, I would stay there again.

Do not stay in this hotel. The place was very dirty. The toilet bowl and seat were stained. The bowl was clearly not being cleaned properly for weeks. The bath tub was also stained... Gentleman at the desk said he was still waiting on them & they would bring them. We gave up & wrapped my daughter in a comforter. They finally brought them...at 11:00 the NEXT day, and knocked on the door […] while we were all taking a nap even though we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door. Had to get a plunger at 12:30 in the morning, and waited around at the desk in my jammies while the lady finished her phone call. No one at the desk when we tried to check out. Breakfast was sparse. Found garbage behind television area, smoke alarm was hanging by 2 wires on the ceiling, door didn't completely seal-could see daylight in the variable gap! Hotel did let us check in early, but it was way-over priced and the room conditions were not very good. We felt a little unsafe, since the lock didn't tightly secure the door area.

Extra charge for dogs would not have stayed there if we knew that before hand!! Rm dirty, bathroom had piece missing on wall with mold - dogs found lots of junk on floor which should have been gotten with a good cleaning! Would NOT recommend or stay there again
