Quite good except for: (1) Initially allocated & given the key to a room that was already occupied - quite an embarrassing experience (2) Basement carpark was like a labyrinth with no exit signage

Hubby and I were on the Gold Coast for 5 days, we stayed at Vibe, Raddison and the Crowne Plaza. We moved around due to rates and some trips so kept ending up back on the coast. Our last night was at the Crowne Plaza and we wished all of our nights were there. The hotel has been remodelled and has fantastic clean, spacious and modern rooms which is always principle concern for me. The location is a bit out of the heart of Surfers which is a good thing and the staff were very very helpful. Our room even had a view of the ocean from the bed and we didn't pay for an upgrade or anything. After being at 3 other hotels plus seeing inside a few others I can honestly say book here you won't be disappointed!

Those wonderful ladies and gents who work there really are the friendliest and the hotel is amazing in everyway. I will be back there next year without fail. Would highly recommend this hotel to every and anyone. Perfect perfect perfect!!!!! Call Leonie, she is a lovely lady !!!!!!!

I stayed on the executive floor and the staff in that area were exceptional. Hotel was well-run and clean. Surfers Paradise is more for a party trip than a business trip but the hotel delivered.

I wouldn't stay at this hotel again, it's wasn't terrible, for the price we paid you can't expect 5 stars, these are the pros. Big open space in lounge and dining, beautiful views, 1min walk to beach, 10 min walk to Cavill Ave. However the cons were: bedroom and bathroom were dated 70's style, the bathroom door needed to be replaced as it had a punch […] hole in, when i told reception she didnt have a clue. Was a great stay, although the staff werent helpful or nice at first impression. Take a laptop or portable DVD player if you want to watch a DVD on a quiet night in as there DVD players come without power cords :-/ Is a very comfortable stay and great for families or couples and would stay there again with those above thoughts in mind. :)

The view from our hotel was superb, overlooking the beach, Just what I hoped for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms size was great, easily fitted 5 adults. Only problem was we paid for 5 adults but only had 4 beds (someone had to sleep on lounge) and were only given 4 bath towels. Kettle didn't work properly and no glass plate inside microwave, […] but the beautiful view of the beach and being able to watch the sunrise far outwayed anything. Read more

Brilliant views, well kept entertainment areas (pools, gardens etc). Sadly the room was dreadfully tired and old and carpets were very stained. Therefore the smell wasn't great either.
