The pictures on the website made it look nicer then it really was. While in the shower it sounded as though someone came into my room because of how to sounded around the motel. It is the same price as the nicer hotel right next to it, sounds funny to me.

The only thing I didn't like was that if was advertised to serve breakfast. My wife didn't go to the lobby until 8:30 or so, so we might have missed out, but there wasn't what she would call breakfast. There is an IHOP less than a hundred yards away, and I will definitely stay there again. Very comfortable.

My mom and I stayed at this hotel this past weekend. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great, clean room for dirt cheap! Location is near gas stations and restaurants. Overall, enjoyed the hotel and service!

door facing was screwed back into wall. Put us right next to PUB where the music was blaring until after 1 am. There wa dried gum on the bed frame. Towels were well worn and dingy! furniture was scratched and something you would find in a dump not a hotel. Very low lighting so you couldn't see the cob webs all over the walls. This is an older hotel and needed updating. The bed was too soft, but the room was spacious and clean. There were 2 towels, but only one hand towel and no wash cloths. The pet fee was excessive and there was no place to walk the dogs.

The room was small and cramped. Cost of the room was too much for the size of the room and the bare basics provided. The breakfast was very limited as to choice of items provided. If we are ever in Marshall TX again and need a motel for the night we will try to find a better quality one.

The room was supposed to be a non-smoking room and it just reaked of cigarette smoke. The whole room was old and run down. The shower was dirty! Very thin walls! We could hear conversations on either side of the room.

An older motel that could use better maintenance. Also, the clientele for the Saturday night that we stayed was scary. It was absolutely full and was, at least the night we stayed, Partay night. I made my reservation about 10 p.m. and arrived at 12:30 a.m. When I arrived at my room, the room temperature was between 85-90 degrees! I turned on the air and immediately called the front desk. The young man who answered informed me that they didn't cool the rooms down.... I've traveled for decades and never have heard of this! About 1 1/2 hours […] late the room was suitable for sleeping. Needless to say, I'm totally mad about this and will never stay at any Days Inn again. The sheets were clean and that was the best part of the room. The place felt dirty. Never went barefoot in the room. The bottom of the tub looked dirty - so showered standing on a towel. The ceiling was peeling in the bathroom and the walls were dirty. Room was very hot when we entered and took about an hour to cool down. I read the reviews before I booked, so I expected less than a 4 star stay, but I did not expecl the hotel's bathroom to have a hole in the ceiling due to a leak from the shower on the second floor and the walls surrounding my own shower to be opening up (at least 1 inch) due to leaks. This motel was generaly a basically good place to spend 2 nights. There was no trouble with noise, there was plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We have paid a lot more and received a lot less in return. The room was a little shabby---there was a poorly patched hole in the bathroom door and the wallpaper border meant […] to create the look of wainscoting was partially peeled off. We did like the colors in the room and it was homey and comfortable. There were 4 king-sized pillows on the bed instead of the 3 standard sized pillows like you get so many places. We appreciated that. (When you are accustomed to king size pillows, standard pillows just don't work well). We didn't use the pool. The continental breakfast was average. The room had an over the bed ceiling fan and the first night was fine. The second evening the ceiling fan was making a noise, so my husband reached up to wiggle the light globe when there was an enormous "pop", flash of light, and the lights went out in the ceiling fan as well as in the shower room, and over the sink. We immediately turned off the switch […] and called the front desk. They said the maintenance man went home at 4pm and the manager wasn't answering the phone. We went all night and all the next day with no fan or lights. The next evening they did finally change the fuse in the maintenance closet somewhere and we were good again. The next afternoon when we came back to our room and turned on the light switch there was a loud "pop" again and we lost lights, fan, etc. We again called and after a while they did fix it again. We were very concerened about the obvious short in the wiring and did not touch the switch again. When we checked out the next morning we mentioned our fears of the building burning and people being hurt in a fire. The front desk clerk said she had not heard of the fuse repeatedly shorting out but she would make a note of it. It's ok. No thermostat for the heat. Either hot or cold, your choice. The gentleman at the front desk was not exactly a "people person." I assume that he could speak if he chose to, though .He may have said two words. Hey, the room was cheap. You get what you pay for, huh?

Noise, Noise, Noise!! Will never stay at again. The neighbors were playing very loud rap music and jumping or something so much that it made the mirror in our room move on the wall. This was all at midnight too. Next morning the "breakfast" was terrible and there was no sugar. When we asked for some sugar we were told there wasn't any more. We stoped there on our way to Galveston, The rooms were clean. But they had Collage kids staying there and they dranked and partyed all night long. the service person could have put us far away from that, but they put us in the middle of about 5 or 6 room full of these kids. We will not stay there again for any reason.

Hotel located in a somewhat run down section. Lots of construction workers staying at hotel resulting in quite a bit of noise at 5am as workers prepare to leave for work site. Room was clean and comfortable, but due to the early morning noise, I won't be staying again.
