"Out of the "Village" and into the site."
Marvelous stay and far enough from the "mall", but close enought to hop on a bus and enjoy any of Whistler's fine dining. Breakfast is adequate, rooms are delightful ans if you choose the right area, great views to boot, Will stay there again. "Not the best experience"
Unfortunately for the hotel when we checked into our room it was clean enough though it seemed but after taking off my shoes and going from the kitchen into the bathroom I stepped on a piece of class that didn't get vacuumed up and punctured the bottom of my heel it was not pleasant. I later found another piece. The hotel did offer a discount on my […] next stay but I think they should of done more. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good Value if you don't need to be in the Village"
We enjoyed our stay and thought it was a great value for our fairly large 2 BR condo. We had a great view of the pool and mountain with a large balcony. The pools and hot tubs are a large size and were not busy at all. Breakfast was a nice spread and included in the price. There was cereal, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, waffles, pastries, and bagels. […] The resort is in need of some paint here and there and breakfast can get crowded if there is a big group staying at the resort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort and Convenience"
My husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom slope side room. Although it was May, we skiied, came back to our unit for lunch, then hung out at the pool before enjoying a great dinner in the village. Went hiking nearby our last day. Didn't move the car our entire stay. The hotel had a good vibe; very family and dog friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Right on the Slope"
The location was great, right on the slope. The free bus to the village was a short ride for dinning, and shopping. The hotel is a bit dated, but the ski shop is right in the hotel for those who rent their equipment. Great views from the hot tubs and pool. The cleaning staff was great, but the fromt desk was flakey. Did not inform us of anything going […] on nor had any answers to our questions or even seemed to care. Whatever, we are independent souls so it did not slow us down too much. Would highly reccommed for true skiiers, not partiers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best for skiing"
From door of your room to the wizard chair lift, it's less than five minutes, maybe a little more if you have to wait for the elevator. Ridiculously convenient. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. I had seen complaints about noise/thickness of walls, but didn't really notice anything unusual for a hotel. Room came with free wifi and breakfast; breakfast […] was plentiful cereal, oatmeal, toast, waffles, pastries, fruit. Not fancy or ellaborate, but fine and good to fuel us for a solid five hours on the slopes. Hotel had pool and two hot tubs, which were always busy but never crowded since they could accommodate 20-30 people combined. Only slight downsides are the charge for parking and the lack of a bar/restaurant. If we had planned better, we would have made use of the kitchenette in room and made our own dinner, so even this isn't that big of an issue. I've now been to five different places in Whistler - all of them fine and good - but this was my favorite by far for convenience and value. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent stay on the mountain"
We stayed here for a week and skied 6 days. Pros: The staff have very good customer service, the ski shop/storage is nice to have on site, the breakfast is great, the ski slope is steps away, 2 hot tubs are large enough for at least 12 people each, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Cons: sometimes we waited for more than 15 min to catch the bus […] down to the village at prime times during the day/night (we ended up driving our car and parking at the grocery store where they had free parking for up to 2 hours), parking at the hotel is expensive, and wireless Internet is extremely slow. "Real ski-in/ski-out; service need improvement"
This is one of the few REAL ski-in/ski out in Whistler/Blackcomb area. So REAL - that - except by the car - the best way to each the hotel is on ski. OR you need to walk on the mountain. There is a free bus that going to Whistler and it take less then 10 minutes. From another point - the place is very-very quiet, especially compare to Whistler village, […] full of night bars. My one bedroom room was simple, but nice and comfortable. Breakfast has many choices. The only issue with this hotel is service. "Would definitely stay here again"
The hotel is a bit out of the village, but would be great for ski in/out during the winter. We went to Whistler for Thanksgiving weekend for the Turkey Sale/Ski Swap, which was just a short walk down to the base of Blackcomb, but there is also a free shuttle bus available to get anywhere else. The hotel staff were great. Our coffee maker wasn't working […] and they had someone sent up to the room to replace it within 5 minutes of us calling the front desk. It is nice to have breakfast included in the price of the accommodation - nothing fancy, but certainly provides for a good, worry free start to the day. Room was very clean and comfortable, with full kitchen - even made a full Thanksgiving turkey dinner, although had to buy a roasting pan for the turkey since the room didn't come with that. All-in-all a great place to say - highly recommended. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"2 br ste-great for 2 adults & 2 teens!"
We really enjoyed our stay, great pool & hot tubs, 5 min. downhill walk to north village; loads of room, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen etc. and clean. "Perfect location and faciity"
It was hard to find lodgings with pool, hot tub and wi-fi but this had it all. Its the highest on the hill...good to ski in in winter but we loved it in summer. Very clean and modern.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A good variety of items offered at the continental breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Small and Comfy Rooms"
The bedrooms are small but clean and comfortable . We rated 3 for cleanliness because there are water marks on the carpet and dust on the fridge. Great breakfast with a variety of choices including make-your-own waffles. The family package is very attractive and a 5 min drive uphill to the village is also fine since we have our own car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Comfortable rooms, excellent staff and service, good breakfast, great pool and little gym. Rooms appear to be renovated and the hotel is perfectly situated in Upper Whistler Village which was definitely quieter and more upscale. Only improvement I would recommend is that the beds can be firmerGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"We'll be back !!"
Excellent location adjacent to Blackcomb slope, ski in ski out. Hot tub was hot, pool was nice and warm. Breakfast was outstanding. Our room over looked the ‘Forest View” quiet, beautiful, and we loved it. Great value. We definitely recommend The Coast at Blackcomb, and intend on returning to the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The Good Life"
We stayed in a large, one-room suite at The Coast Blackcomb Suites. It was perfect!!! We rated it a solid "5" for many reasons. The first, it was the best in ski-out, ski-in. Free storage right on the slopes. Then, there's the two large outdoor hot-tubs amid great scenery, and the robes supplied by Coast. Then, a very good full breakfast . Also, the […] room was very smartly put together: a fine bathroom, a very good, well equipped kitchen and dining table with stylish mats and serviettes. Even a sitting area with couch, easy chair, gas fireplace and a TV mounted to be seen from the sitting area or the queen bed alcove. With lots of windows and an outside balcony, fully furnished, it was practical, stylish and perfect for romance or hard-nosed skiers. Enough said. From an (ex) double black with 1,300 days on the mountain who is also a hotel consultant. My wife, with 8 days on the mountain feels the same. "Solid Ski Hotel"
Location, location, location.... this hotel has a ski in, ski out feature that is fantastic. Furthermore, the Ski Valet that holds your skis overnight is a perk. The Spas are the second best feature. Good spas as well as a heated pool. The front desk is courteous and helpful. The hotel is located on the mountain, so it is not walking distance to Whistler […] Village. It is the last stop for the #5 bus. The bus can take anywhere from 10 - 25 minutes. The rooms and amenities are fine. We had a two bedroom suite for three people. Not world class decor, but enough space for all. A small gym which is nothing to brag about. The breakfast is fine too. People are expecting a Four Seasons brunch for free are being silly. The staff goes out of their way to make sure items are stocked and if items are low, they get right on it if you ask them. Cereals, eggs, muffins, fruit, coffee, OJ, waffle maker etc.... last time I checked the breakfast was included, for that, it's solid. No glam at this place. But if you ski hard and need a good tub plus a free breakfast each morning with great ski access, look no further. If you need the Four Seasons, this is not for you. "Comfy and cozy resort"
The rooms are extremely comfy and I love the fact that there's a full kitchen in each "suite". I think each room also has their own balcony. Great way to enjoy the view with a hot beverage! The free breakfast buffet and free wifi are a super plus in my book! However, the staff has a difficult time keeping the items stocked and available. The hotel offers […] a ski and snowboard valet since it is a ski-in and ski-out resort. Since the hotel is located at the top of the hotel mountain on Blackcomb, there's a free shuttle that takes you to other resorts on Blackcomb and ends at Whistler Village. It runs every 10-15 min. There's no in-room safe and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear your neighbor's shower running, etc. The resort itself is pretty quiet and cozy. Can't really tell you're at a "hotel"! Great location, decent facilities, helpful and friendly staff and definitely good value for money. It's not ritzy, there is no bar and the breakfast is basic (we avoided it by shopping at the supermarket and making breakfast, which works as we all eat different things). We'd stay there again as it suited us very well to have help on hand, but to be […] left to our own devices if we chose. The location cannot be bettered and the ski shop staff were also friendly and helpful. The hotel was pretty busy and dogs abound but we didn't have any complaints at all. "A long way from town"
The. Location is at the end of the bus route so takes quite a while from town. The floor that we were on was undergoing renovation so hallway was messy. We stayed in early June so can't imagine why they put guests in same area as renovations, because hotel was not busy. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel looks a little ran down in need of upgrades. there was an area under construction, but other than that, it's location is very good, breakfast is plenty, nice pool, very, very close to village, and very affordable in comparison to other Whistler hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A hotel for the winter, not summer!"
Overall, the hotel was fine and the price of the room was great. We got a suite for one night at a great deal. The service at the hotel was solid and the staff was very friendly top -to-bottom. The room was quite nice but it was laid out oddly so there wasn't as much room as you think. Loved having a suite with a big fridge, oven, microwave and sink. […] They even had utensils and plates there! That was a positive thing. The only things I didn't like were 1) The parking is non-existent and the $25 daily fee is quite high. 2) The location of the mountain sucks for the summer time as you are so far removed from the Whistler village. There is a free shuttle but its only twice an hour. In the winter, you'd have chair lifts and runs near your hotel so it would be a sweet location. In the summer, you're basically in the woods at the top of a hill. I wouldn't stay there again personally but if you are looking for a cheap room for one night, it would be great. Next time, I will pay more and stay in the Whistler village. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice stay on the mountain"
We were a family of five and we stayed in a two bedroom suite. It was just right for us. Although the hotel is outside of the village, it is a short walk down the mountainside or a short bus ride into town. The setting is quite spectacular, as the hotel sits partway up Blackcomb mountain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not recommended for summer activities"
There is no air-conditioning in the suites. A box fan was provided, but even with the patio door wide open (which did not feel secure), and the box fan placed in front of it, the room did not cool down until 3am. The room was dark, and faced towards some trees. Hallways, elevators and common areas are shabby: worn carpet, chipped paint. The hotel is […] located far from activities in Whistler Village; a bus service is provided every half hour, but that is not convenient. Insist on looking at your room before any payment. "Great weekend getaway!"
This is a very nice place to stay during the summer. The included breakfast had everything (eggs, greek yogurt, muffins, waffles, fruit, juice, starbucks coffee, etc). Our room (620) was extremely quiet with no noise whatsoever. It's a peaceful place here. The pool was perfect temperature and so were the 2 hot tubs. "Great resort with excellent service"
Yes, it may be a little out of town, but the hotel provides hotel patrons with a frequent - FREE transit down the hill to the village which takes only about 5 minutes. The hotel service was top notch as well as the studio suite my partner and I stayed in. The posting I booked this on had said it was a 3 star resort, but it was easily a 4 star for us. […] There was an issue with our tv service, but we weren't in Whistler to watch TV so it wasn't a big deal for us. If you enjoy friendly service, a comfortable room, and a reasonable price, then I'd easily recommend this resort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place for a family getaway"
This is a great place to stay if travelling with young families. The full kitchens are an economical way to travel without the high cost of eating out every meal. There are barbeques available also, but I believe you have to reserve them in advance. We were travelling as a couple, and although having a restaurant/bar on the premises would be handy, […] the free shuttle to town (5 min) worked well for us. It's also a very nice walk if weather permits. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disapointed this time"
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and have always enjoyed our getaways. Not this time the bed was uncomfortable, the tv did not work properly, and the line up for breakfast was ridiculous...hope it was an anomaly and not a trend, will give them one more try in the future before moving to a different hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
lovely location direct to ski. great atmosphere and breakfast. no restaurant but regular free transport 10 mins into whistler.Genuine Expedia guest review
We and our pets are always welcomed by staff. The rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff are always willing to go the extra mile. The only thing we wish was a little better was that there were many kids running through the halls and jumping up/ down the stairs. This is probably due to it being a long weekend.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location - true ski in/out, even in mid April. Spacious suite which was very well equipped. Breakfast was included which was a real bonus. Hot tubs and pool were lovely.Genuine Expedia guest review
