The glacier inn is in the heart of the upper village. Nicely furnished and a friendly, accommodating staff.

Small room, occasional hot water
Loved the location, but that is all the good news. Although the bed was king size (as requested) there was barely enough room to walk around the bed and fit a small desk/sofa. Decor and equipment dated back to the 1980's (except for the new 30inch TV). At $150 I overpaid, $50 would be a fair price (on par with Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn in the US). But my main gripe was with the irregular hot water, after complaining about a cold shower on the first day I was informed that my room shared a water heater with the room next door and there was nothing they could do about that. Since my neighbors always seemed to get up just before I did, a short lukewarm shower was all I managed most days. I will not be returning!!

Great location, but otherwise tired
Good price, great ski-in/ski-out location, but this older property is a little over the hill both physically and in terms of service. The "hotel room" we had was small, barely bigger than its king size bed. (I understand other units might be better.) Room amenities were sub par - only two small towels, no coffee for coffee maker, etc. The front desk could not supply a hypo allergenic pillow. One hot tub was under repair and the other was only warm as the heater could not keep up with the cold. And the "free" wi fi is a joke, requiring continually relogging on and not reaching the far parts of our room.
