I read a lot of reviews prior to arriving. Some were negative, so I was a bit unsure of what to expect. Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was, given we only paid $79 per night. I called and they upgraded us to an Oceanfront Efficiency room for a very low price. The kitchen is DEFINITELY worth the upgrade price. Comes with everything […] you would need, utensils, toaster, oven, FULL fridge, even a dish drain. We cooked a lot of meals in the room and saved a lot of money. The elevators were a bit slow, yes. But it really wasn't that bad. The staff was very friendly, and appeared to enjoy their job. The pools were AWESOME. My soon-to-be 5 year old loved them. The beach was clean and was not too crowded. We walked the short (3 block) trip down to the Family Kingdom (Pavilion) on our last night and had a blast. Wifi was free and fairly fast, despite some other reviews I read. I was, overall, very well pleased, given the price I paid. Only inconveniences: (1) Parking spaces were tiny across the street; (2) Finding the Java Cafe (which serves Starbucks!) was a bit tricky, have to find a special elevator. Overall, very satisfied for the price, and we had a blast. Not a good hotel for the elderly, due to the parking situation alone. But for young families, this hotel is great! I would stay at again, and recommend my friends to do so as well. Read more

Great hotel for price! Beware that taxes and service fees will add tremendously to your final cost. I stayed four days and these fees were over $100 on top of what the room cost. We also love the karoke on Sunday night due to the threat of rain it was cancelled on Monday--wish they had it every night --we loved it! My only complaint is--they need to clean the rooms better! The staff here were really nice. Checkin was smooth. We had a problem with our door lock. After calling, maintenance was there within 5 minutes to fix it. This is a very busy hotel. And the staff stay on top of it. Staff mop and clean all day. The place is well kept. Pools are cleaned every morning and are sparkling clean. The parking lot can be busy. […] But staff keep it clear. Plenty of parking. Nice to have a cafe and store on site. This hotel is older and the interior somewhat dated. The pools were the best part of our stay. My kids loved them! When we got there we had no towels or pillowcases on our pillows. On Saturday we left for awhile and came back and our room hadn't been cleaned. Bathrooms are super tiny. Barely big enough to fit a shower and toilet in. Perfect getaway for my hubby and me. Enjoyed our oceanfront room on the 15th floor. While it was bike week, the noise wasn't noticeable. The room was clean, the free wifi worked perfectly, check-in and out quick and easy. Pools were relaxing,ocean walks were perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Like the idea of so many pools. Rooms were pretty decent. Our tv stopped working and was fixed and replaced within 1/2 hour of making call. Only complaint was wait on elevators!!

Decent hotel...stayed in the double oceanfront efficiency for 4 nights. There were only 2 adults in this room and it was VERY cramped...not suited at all for families! Room was clean and was actually impressed with how clean the bathroom was! Cleaning staff extremely friendly! We stayed there for 2 nights with no hot water in the room at all. They never fixed it or changed are room. The got shut off while I was in the shower. Very disapointed in the service at the hotel about the hot water issue.

Checked in at 4 was given room, went to the room and was not cleaned as of yet that day. Took 30 minutes for the "staff" to get there, when we asked how long it would take the too clean we were told that she did not work there. Then why are you cleaning my room? It was a daughter of one of the staff members cleaning the rooms. Went to front desk and […] was given free breakfast vouchers for our wait. The front desk was overall pleasant but one of there staff was very rude to everyone that came in while waiting in line she was very short and snippy to every one she encountered. We stayed for two days at the start of Harley week. Hotel was nice, Staff was very helpful. The parking deck was not to bad, and allowed for the car to not be sun drenched for two days. The location is a good walk from the boardwalk. This was ok for us as my O'l Lady loves to walk. Me, not so much, but only took about 30 minutes to walk to the Sky Wheel. […] We had a third floor room. The tops of the palm trees obstructed a clear view of the ocean, but not completely. Could see great between the trees and if you stood up on the balcony, rather then sitting in a chair. This was a nice hotel/resort for a short stay. The rooms are non-smoking, but they do allow smoking on the balconies, so there tends to a hit of cigarette smoke smell even in the room; not over-powering, but there. The check-in staff were polite. We had to return to get a replacement key because one of the two we were given would not unlock the room. […] They handled that very well and quickly. The only complaint was with the agreed upon check-out time when our reservation was made. Rooms were nice first night stayed in corner jacuzzi suite over looking kid pool would have been nice for a family needing to keep eye their kids playing. And walking distance from amusement park. The room was not ready when we arrived. Had to wait 40 minutes for it to be cleaned. When we arrived in the room their was hair in the tub, the floor looked like it was not cleaned, and the room did not smell clean.

The Sea Crest hotel was beautiful, clean, safe, and a lot of activities for kids. I enjoyed my stay here and will come back to this same hotel next time. I had a ten year old boy with me and he loved the lazy river and all the pools. The location was perfect for easy access to the beach and the view was outstanding.

The location of the hotel to the ocean was great! The room was a little dated, but we loved the kitchenette with the full sized refrigerator. In the evenings, while taking showers, we'd turn on the bathroom vent. Within minutes, we could smell the distinct odor of marijuana coming in through this vent. When my husband and I experienced a problem with our first room; the resort manager quickly apologized and relocated us to a new room which was an upgrade from the room we had. My husband, myself, and our 3 children stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, and had an amazing time! I had requested that we have a crib in our room prior to us arriving in case our 1-year old was asleep, and it was in the room. Even though the weather was a bit chilly, my kids thoroughly enjoyed all of the indoor and outdoor heated pools! We had an oceanfront […] efficiency room that included a kitchnette with all eating/cooking utensils, 2 queen beds (that could've been a little more comfortable), and killer views from the balcony! All in all, the hotel made the trip just that much more enjoyable. I guess the only complaint I would have is that the Starbucks located in the hotel didn't stay open long enough. It was open from 5am-11am, not good for a late sleeper!! Other than that, I can't complain. We had a wonderful and memorable time! Will definitely come back to this hotel in the future! Oh, one other thing...the staff was great too. Very helpful and friendly, and did their best to make you feel at home. Thank you!
