    After reading some of the reviews I was reluctant to stay here, but did so because two business colleagues were also staying here. There's not much going on in downtown Dayton, but it's not fair to blame that on the hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was fine (not much protein, mostly […] carbs). Yes, the garage is old but no worse than you see in other urban areas. Yes, my window faced the street, and there was some loud traffic, but Dayton is dead early. It was about a 10 minute walk to get to the Oregon district. Read more

    I've stayed the Christopher Inn serveral times and this time I noticed it had really run down. Although to be fair they are in the process of remodeling.

    Enjoyed the stay at the Christopher, the room was great, the breakfast was good, and the people were friendly and helpful. Was disappointed that the pool was to cold and that the hot tub didn't work but other than that, this was a nice place to stay. Mound City and Tecumseh Outdoor Dramas were just down the road from this hotel.

    The room was wonderful, but the amenities were not the best. The pool was too cold, the hot tub didn't work and neither did the ice machine. The front desk evening clerk didn't wnat to get ice for us from the office where earlier is where we were told to get it. We would not stay there again.

    We had two rooms for all of us and we were all pleased with our rooms. They were clean and comfortable. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing and so much more than we ever expected. We are already planning another trip that way and will definitely stay here. Great place to stay!!!!
