I like the older hotels, they tell a story of thr good old days, My room was clean, had a micro wave, frig, coffee maker and HBO what else do you need. and best of all the price.

The rooms are very basic, nothing fancy. I felt like the towels and sheets should have been cleaner and not stained, plus it would help if they wiped the dust from things like night stand and lamps.

This place smelled bad and was not very clean. It was supposed to have a queen sized bed but if this was a queen it was anorexic. One full sized pillow and one half sized one. Works for one, but there were two of us.

I suppose you get what you pay for. The bed sheets and bath linens appeared to have been last washed in 2011, the bathroom looked like a prison cell stall, the carpets were stained, and the tv remote was caked with grime. Doesn't look like the best area either: more than one door appeared to have been rammed in by police at some point in time. No effort […] by motel staff to replace those doors? The room was fine but quite small. The refrigerator and microwave were nice. The continental breakfast was packaged grocery store pastries and plain white and wheat bread for toast, OJ and coffee.

I had a late check-in so the staff was considerate enough to have my key waiting in the mailbox for me. I've stayed here 3 times before and will stay again. Location is convenient for me. After checking in, I went to eat. Upon returning the key would not open the door. So I had to go to the office (at the far opposite end) to get it fixed. Then next day I drove over an hour to an historical battle recreation. I spent all day walking in the sun. I wasn't expecting much as it is a low budget hotel so I knew what I was getting myself into generally speaking....since I travel a lot and stay at hotels up and down the quality spectrum. But...this was not good. Primarily it was the general need for some updating.....like new carpet (so gross I wore my flip flops at all times) and improved furnishings […] (everything was just super worn and tawdry) and even a new window...I opened the small window, only to find the frame so rotted we had to wrestle it back into position so we could lock it and keep it from falling out of the frame. There also seemed to be some rooms maybe long-term occupied by displaced families? I don't know, just felt a little weird atmosphere-wise... On the plus side, we could bring our dog, convenient location. The bath was small but decent-good shower. The bed was acceptable. The owner of the hotel went out of his way to accomodate a delay I encountered in meeting the checkout time and not only this time but when I was a guest there ayear ago. It is in a convenient area of the city within walking distance of downtown, churches, and the park, which is great for thise who like to walk. It was also quiet at night.

I booked this hotel at 5am for a last minute ski trip. The good news is that we were able to get a roof over our heads. This place was conveniently located about 15 minutes or so from Killington Mountain. The only thing that tripped us up was the fact that there are two Rodeway Inn's in close proximity to one another, so it made for checking in slightly confusing.

Your go to budget hotel if you are just looking for a place to crash for the night and hit the hill early in the morning... good food close by, highly recommend Tokyo House in downtown Rutland for all you sushi lovers, or Table 24 if you want a beer and a good burger. Got a king size bed, hbo, and semi-hot water for a decent price.

Not a place I would go again. Motel is old and the room is very cramped. They tried to squeeze in a microwave and refridgerator. Walls paper thin. Neighbors keeped us awake all night just talking. Although we did not need the air conditioner this time of year it was is bad shape, falling to pieces.
