"Good Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Hotel in excellent location for Chester visit, enjoyed spa facilities, including pool, jacuzzi, sauna. Thought breakfast overpriced at £12 per person, therefore made separate arrangements.
"Close to the city within the countryside"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
An excellent hotel. Friendly owners, enormous breakfasts, attentive service and in a lovely location.
"Better than a hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Very impressed with Base2Stay, they rightly deserve the high praise that they receive. Informative and helpful (to the point that one receptionist lent me her own umbrella when I realised I'd forgotten mine) staff. The foyer/social area is very pleasant and nespresso coffee on tap is a lovely touch - after dinner my colleagues and I had coffee back here rather than at the restaurant! Enjoyed having my own kitchenette - there is a supermarket less than two minutes away so very easy to stock up. Room was large and quiet, wifi worked well. All in all exactly what I'd hope for when I'm away with work.
"Loved our stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
The Mercure Oak was very conveniently located for Wigan town centre and the room was small bur perfectly formed. The bed was enourmous and incredibly comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly so I couldn't ask for more expecially for such a good price.
"Lovely location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
A most enjoyable stay, breakfast was lovely, dined there one evening, food and service was first class. One minor point, would of liked to of had a late drink in the bar,but not open, undestand though,it was very quiet.

"Great stay"
All fine.....staff couldn't have been more friendly , helpful and pleasant. Location was ideal for the Waterfront , eating etc.
"Pleasant hotel (just don't book for the spa)"
The hotel is tucked away in the business district from the crowded bar districts while only being a short walk from the centre and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little clinical though the overall feel of the hotel is good for the price. The one disappointment is the adjorning spa/gym facilities for which the description 'spa' […] is somewhat misleading and already showing the signs of wear and tear. Do book for the staff, location and convenience but if its the spa facilities that tempts you are going to be disappointed (unless you are looking for an economy gym and kids pool when its fine). Otherwise, highly recommended. Read more
"River View"

"Great Hotel"
Radisson Blu is a great hotel which offered us a superb rate for bed and breakfast. Situated on the waterfront just a short taxi ride away from the Liverpool Empire Theatre where we watched our Niece in the production of South Pacific then ate at Alma De Cuba. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Liverpool for a long or short break […] . Read more
"Romantic getaway"
Loved ths hotel, would definetly go back, right by the town so ddnt have to go far,
"Slightly tired and requiring upgrading"
Felt the hotel could be doing with an upgrade. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The gym male changing room requires upgrading. There is no keys in lockers. The locks need replacing with new keys. There were gym bags, handbags sitting next to gym equipment. Disappointing for a Radisson hotel. However the staff were great.
"Very disappointed"

"RadissonBlu Liverpool"
Incredibly disappointed. Car-parking was £15.50 a day, air-conditioning was noisy, interior decor of hotel was drab and uninspiring, swimming pool was small, breakfast was diabolical - need I say more? Oh I have complained through the official channel 3 days ago, and no response, either!
"Dont get stung for parking"
Hotel was perfectly good and would recommend, however as it is on a street without parking available I telephoned reception whilst parked outside to see where I could park and they said that the valet would park my car for £20 a night. I thought that this was a bit steep so drove around the corner to "Capital" car park where for up to 24 hours in secure […] parking was £12 a night, pretty sure that is all the valet would have done! the hotel is very conveniently located right near the city centre and Liverpool One . I guess if the only critisism is the car park charge , the hotel cant be doing too badly! Read more
Very friendly staff, very good buffet breakfast, room had everything we needed although shower a bit feeble. Pool not as big as it looked in the pictures but adequate. Overall very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.
"Raddison Blu,Liverpool"
Down side-Room not ready at 4.30pm,when check in is 3.00pm.Also asks if you want smoking or non smoking only to discover there is only non smoking.Bit of a blow when you have booked in for 3 nights and no-one has the decenssy to let me know, but for non smokers an absolutely fantastic hotel.

"Hotel Raddison"
My stay at the Raddison was lovely , very clean and staff very friendly . Ordered room service and they forgot about us , but the food was beautiful and good value for money . Definatly stop there again .
"Good value for money"
The business class room was lovely - fabulous view, amenities and breakfast. Early check in and late check out very much appreciated. 10 min walk into town or £5ish in a taxi. The furniture in the lobby was dirty and tired, as was the swimmiing pool area. The Spa/therapy treatments and rooms were inadequate and of a poor standard - not worth the money, […] though the staff were lovely. Overall, for what we paid I would stay again but not bother with the spa or pool. Read more

"Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool"
Very satisfied with our stay at this hotel would recommend to others.
I was runningt the Liverpool Marathon and the staff kindly let me keep my room until about 4 so that I could have shower etc after the event. Really nice and helpful staff...
"Radisson Blu, Liverpool"
Hotel staff were very pleasant and were very happy to help with any queries I had. Room service was excellent, quick and food was still hot, which rarely happens these days! Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All in all a pleasant stay during party conference season which can throw some hotels, but not the Radisson.
"Radisson Blu - Liverpool"
I was quite looking forward to my night stopover atthe R Blu, overal hotel looks smart and modern, rooms large and clean. However thats the highlights. 3 negative things to comment on: 1 car parking - hotel car parking £20 overnight stop, NEC £15 per night short walk away. 2 lift takes forever 3 for a 4 star hotel the SPA was disgusting, dirty dressing […] room, showers don't appear to ne scrubbed for months, the place had an unkept feel to it, pool was cold and a little manly, jacuzzi waste of time and finally Sauna hasn't been cleaned for ages toenails on the floor. So In nutshell, rooms ok, spa no go zone and breakfast get there early, no sense of urgency with the waiting on staff! Sorry! Read more
"Radisson Blu Liverpool 4* - but not 4* bed!"
Checked in to my room to find 2 single beds instead of a double bed, phoned reception to ask to be moved to a room with a double bed but was told none were availabe, however they would send someone to my room to join the two singles to make a double! Waited for a while but decided to go out for the rest of the day/night. Came back at 1 a.m. to find […] out that no one had been to the room to sort the beds out, decided to leave it till the morning. Had a poor nights sleep in the single bed as the mattress/bed was too soft and was sinking to the floor close enough! Breakfast buffet was below average compared to other 4* I've been in previously, no offer of a fried egg, and only offered tea or coffee after finished eating! Complained about the bed situation on checking out and asked whether I could be compensated by virtue of discount on the valet parking, which they were fine about and didn't charge for parking at all! Would think again about staying here, but the location, cleanliness was good, shame about the service and bed quality! Read more
"Great service and living up to RadissonBlu"
This hotel has a great service and friendly professional staff. Always clean and tidy with fairly bright rooms. The only down-sides are 20£/d parking (never even told us about the price) and the WIFI lacking capacity. Gym is great.

"Close to Liverpool City centre for shops etc"
A good hotel, that with a bit more attention to the little details, could be even better. When ringing down to reception, we had great difficulty in getting our requests dealt with. We ordered a morning paper at reception, which did not arrive, and it took 3 phone calls and a visit to reception to finally get a paper at 5pm. No breakfast teabags in […] the morning (although lots of Earl Grey !), and despite phoning down, they never arrived at the room. The breakfast was very good, very varied with hot and cold options, although the bacon at 7am was obviously what was left over from the previous day. The television was either too small or not in focus, I thought at first that I was due an eye-test. It was very quiet, no traffic or hotel noise, and the view from the 7th floor overlooking the Mersey was a huge bonus. The cost of the hotel parking was very expensive. Read more
"good location"
food at hotel was very nice, when we forgot to put the don't disturb sign up the maids barged in before 9am which wasn't good but I suppose that was more our fault than theres!

"Radisson Blu Hotel - Liverpool"
Great Hotel easy to check in/out with great looking rooms.
"excellent"
Myself and my girlfriend visited liverpool before at a hotel that not only cost more but was of lover quality. The moment we walked into the Radisson we were blown away by the lobby and the decor. The service was great, the room was great, the bed was massive. And the thing that topped it off as the quality of the restaurant. The menu is in italian […] but the fun of it is working out what you want and just trying new things. Read more
"Radisson blu liverpool -great but crap spa"
The hotel is really nice, the rooms are very comfortable, however although we had paid for business class we did recieve enough dressing gowns and slippers for each person! and after asking room service several times, these did not show up! We had also booked the hotel for the spa facilities which we were very disappointed with, nothing like the website […] describes it, not a luxury spa at all!!! The jaccuzzi was cold, there were not loungers to chill out by the pool and the general condition of the spa was run down and tired looking!! On a more positive note the breakfast was amazing!! I would definitley recommend this hotel for people just looking for a hotel, not a hotel with a spa! Read more
"radisson"
very frendly staff & clean hotel , well worth the money
Lovely luxurious hotel, with nice spa facilities on site. Conveniently located a few minutes walk from Moorfields rail station, and only 15 minute walk from Albert docks & Liverpool One shopping centre
"Room inc breakfast, hotel still charged for it!"
A nice hotel, but really annoyed that they charged me for breakfast on check out and the reservation stated inc breakfast, i mentioned this to them, but they said they didnt have that on the res. I rang fivestar on hotels.com and they refunded me for it.So hotels.com customer service is fantasic but as for the hotel, staff are useless!
"Radisson Blu, Liverpool"
Fantastic Hotel, close to all attractions, bars and restaurants etc. Stylish and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
"Radisson Blu - Liverpool"
It didn't get off to a good start really. On checking in, I was told that I hadn't included breakfast in my booking when I had. Nevertheless this minor oversight was quickly resolved. To follow, I had planned on having a meal in their restaurant, Filini's, on arrival but unfortunately it was closed. No explanation, and I don't recall reading anywhere […] that it is usually closed on Sundays. By far the worst of it all, though, was the fact that I had a dreadful night's sleep on account of the noise the air conditioning was making all night long in my room. It can only be described as a constant whirring. There seemed to be no way of turning it off. Mind you, given one of the light switches to my bathroom was faulty I was concerned I might electrocute myself in the process trying to. Lastly, and this is just on a personal level, being vegetarian, I was struck by the propensity for leather in this hotel. Leather chairs in my room, leather booths at breakfast, and worst of all leather panels either side of the lift doors with stitching running up the middle that looked like sinews. Finally, a word of warning. Do not touch anything in the mini bar unless you have every intention of consuming it. Any movement of the items inside triggers an automatic billing system at reception and you might find yourself having to defend your naivity to the fact as I did. Read more

"Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool"
A generally very satisfying stay, reasonable priced for the quality. Highly recommended to everyone.
"Radisson Blu, Liverpool (UK)"
Excellent value and a beautiful hotel. We first stayed here in 2006, I was pleased to see the hotel still in good condition. The hotel is located away from bars and clubs and so is quiet. Happy to recommend.

"Raddison Blu Liverpool"
Good quality hotel with good rooms and frriendly staff. Doesn't have an onsite car park and £20 for valet parking while not overly expensive car parking should be for free.

"Raddison blue"
Nice hotel but the bed in my room (no. 525) was quite honestly the worst that I have ever 'slept' on, you could feel and see the tops of the springs! Everything else was pretty good but considering that the main function of a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep it's a big fail.
"excellent and well accommodating"
Excellent hotel in a good location not to far from the centre, very modern and clean with a good pool/suana etc area, would recommend to stop again, the only problem is when its busy the breakfast area is slightly small and had to wait 5 mins to be seated apart from that excellent.
"Easy access to city centre"
disappointed with the pool area needs updating. got conned by the taxi ordered by the hotel and riff raff were allowed into the bar area. Next time I think I would be better off staying at a travel lodge or something on par as the only thing nice about this hotel was the breakfast and the staff which I cannot fault.
"Raddison Blue Liverpool Hope street"
From the outside the hotel does not grab your attention but walk inside and what a fabulous spaceous interior. If your afraid of heights dont peer over the balcony from the 8th floor we stayed on, located in a quiet area of the City but a short taxi ride to the main attracations.
