"Met all expectations for a Paris hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

"Good deal for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.
"Five star experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

"If I had to do it again...."
The cost of the hotel is slightly less than the Disney resort, at least as far as room fees - but the costs ON SITE are basically the same that you'd pay at a Disney hotel. 15 euro Hamburgers at the bar, etc. So there's no real savings once you arrive. The hotel does have a free shuttle, which is difficult to catch at peak times because it is shared […] among multiple resorts - people were pushing and shoving so badly, we had to wait for 3 shuttles to go by (they come every 20 minutes) before we could get one to the park. Having said that, the SERVICE at this hotel is incredible - everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. But in the end, if I had to do it over again - we'd stay at the park and give ourselves the luxury of walking to and from the park, resting at the hotel, and avoiding shuttles, parking, and inconvenience. "Close to all Disney parks and access to trains"
Very nice stay. Enjoyed proximity to all parks and train station which gives you a chance to travel anywhere by metro, Tgv, or eurostar. Shuttle service by bus all day long from hotel to parks and train station. 10 minutes to CDG airport by TGV from train station.

"is very far from the airport charletter"
I stayed 3 nights with my 2 girls and my husband and it was okay, overall the hotel can have better service and a bit more clean the breakfast area was not clean at all and no diversity in the breakfast. We also had one night the dinner buffet and the place was dirty and no service the waiters were no polite and in addition to the high cost of the meal […] drinks were extra and not food not good at all. We had to pay 95 Euros for the taxi to the airport, yes you can use the metro but not if your flight is departing very early in the morning. Going the the city was also very expensive about 40 euros 2 way for one day family of 4. The hotel is good if you are only going to visit Disney land, i would suggest another area for visiting the city. Food around you will only find typical american food around the disney area. For good French cousin in the city and neither in the hotel. Read more
"Good choice"
Good alternative to severely overpriced hotels located closer to Disneyland (DLP). Very clean and comfortable rooms. It fit my family of 5 comfortably (me, wife, kids ages 5, 4 and infant). Breakfast was good (included with stay). Dinner and room service was good but overpriced. Drinks not included in evening buffet. All staff friendly and spoke English. This […] hotel is the first to be picked up by the free shuttle to DLP. Shuttle is cramped but timely and beats driving to DLP; although parking at DLP is free with your room key. Shuttle drops you off right in front of the train station, so going into Paris is very easy and you do not have to deal with the toll roads and driving in a congested/unfamiliar city. Swimming pool and hot tub were nice to tire the kids out before bed. Check in and check out were painelss. Front desk staff helpful and pleasant. Overall, we had a great 5 day stay at this hotel. One last travel tip: We came in from Bavaria, Germany and would recommend looking into taking the train into this area. The toll roads are expensive (approx 40 Euro each way) and Esso gas stations in France do not take the US issued Esso cards. It is unlikely that you can make it from the last Esso in Germany to DLP and back without filling up (or at least putting in approx 60 Euro of gas). Read more
"Dream Castle Hotel- Disneyland Paris"
The hotel is very convient to the park- with free shuttle service, major perk! You can also use the shuttle to get to the train station at no charge and then take the train into the city. I have traveled a good deal in Europe and for a European room it was rather large. A very pleasant surprise. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because I do […] not think it is up to par with other Disney resorts. The shower did not drain properly, the metal soap dish was broken with exposed sharp metal edges (but the tub was huge!) and the only shelf in the closet was broken- if you placed anything on it the shelf closet would collapse. Also, the restraunt was grossly over priced. It was less expensive to eat at the nicer restruants in Downtown Disney. I don't mind paying for quality, but better quality was simply less expensive as far as dining. Overall though this is nice hotel and I would be willing to stay there again. Read more
"Good overall, but a few minor quirks"
We recently stayed at the Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland. For my older daughter (4yo), it was a dream.....there was a ball pit, many rides (2E a piece), games, a playground, a jogging path around a large pond, and a small pool with a very small slide.....which was perfect for a family with young kids. All of the staff was friendly (though the hostess […] at the buffet breakfast seemed overwhelmed). You can get park tickets at the hotel (I highly rec doing this), which saves you a lot of time once you actually get to the park. They do offer dinners at the hotel, but I would save your money and make reservations at Mickey's Cafe in Disney Village (the kids can meet a ton of Disney characters) plus the food/location is much better. There is a free shuttle that runs every 20min from the hotel to the parks (until midnight). You can also drive and park for free at the park using your hotel room key (make sure you follow signs for Disneyland park NOT Disney Village...you will have to pay for parking at the later). Our overall experience was great, though for the price I thought the rooms could use a little sprucing up and pool towels should be free and available at the pool (vs using your own bath towel or having to pay 2E at the spa). Also, the eggs at breakfast are a bit sketchy, but other than those minor things we had a wonderful stay. If you forget any souvenirs at the park, they have a decent selection at their little Disney store too. Read more
"Great Hotel"
This hotel was ideal for my family. The rooms are large and hotel shuttles were great. The resembled an American hotel.
"Great location"
Great hotel for kids. Good location very close to Disney and the free shuttle drops you off right at the train station from which it is an easy ride to Downtown Paris.
"Choose another hotel"
Pros: Sightly cheaper than Disney hotels, breakfast was good, staff was kind, shuttle gets you places (although is quite crowded and infrequent) Cons: Lobby was dirty, tile & bathtub were broken in the bathroom. Definitely not a 4-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I would suggest waiting to see if Paris Disneyland hotels have sales around […] the time you visit. Read more
All of us - my husband , me and our 2 kids liked this hotel so much than we stayed there one more night. the reception crew was very helpfull .
"Great alternative to Disney Hotels"
The Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland Paris is a great hotel to stay at if you want quality at a budget price. Our booking worked out less than half the price of a similar standard Disney hotel! The hotel is Disney themed throughout. The rooms are spacious, clean and delightfully furnished. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and there is plenty to […] do if you want a quiet day away from the parks. You can buy park tickets at the hotel but we had already purchased ours on-line before flying to France. There is a free shuttle to and from the Disney Parks and it only takes 8 minutes making the hotel convenient. We would definitely stay here again and advise others to stay here. Read more
"Disney Dream Castle in Paris"
I was extremely disappointed to receive such unfriendliness from the staff. The hallway of my room was constantly filled with bins of dirty sheets, racks of towels and multiple dirty room service plates. I chose to eat in the hotel restaurant one night and the staff in the restaurant were terrible. I witnessed the waitress stomp her feet in anger and […] did not offer us drinks until we were almost already finished eating. She also rolled her eyes at me multiple times. I was shocked to receive such horrible service. Never in my life, have I even been treated so poorly after spending so much money. Because of my experience at this Hotel, I could easily say it almost RUINED my time in Disney Paris. Disney Dream Castle is the worst hotel Ive ever stayed and I would strongly suggest ANYONE visiting Disney Paris to go elsewhere. Read more

The hotel location was very good, the staff were very helpfull and frindly, we injoyed the breakfast daily which was included in the rate. the family room was very good for me and my wife and 2 girls (8 & 11 years old), the lake behind the hotel was very nice to walk around and feed the swans/ducks. Shuttle bus to Disney and RER was perfect.
"Family friendly hotel..."
While I loved the Dream Castle Hotel at Disneyland Paris, I was irked at the 30 euro per person dinner buffet. There are no restaurants nearby so eat before you come. Otherwise, this hotel was fantastic.
"Great hotel and location for the money"
If you are going to Disney Paris, then this is a very nice hotel. The price was very reasonable for Europe and it had amentities that were on par with similar hotels in the USA. The sytle was very much American, if that is important to you. The free buffet was also a pleasant surprise, which included croissants, cereal, juice, sausage, eggs, bacon, […] bread, cheese, meats, etc. All of the things you could ever want. In terms of location, we took free bus from the train station, which is right at the park. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the hotel and runs until midnight. We were just a couple, so we didn't take advantage of kid focused items, but they did have structure full of balls to jump into and a Disney gift shop in the hotel. Read more
"Perfect place to stay"
Considering we spent the whole day out of the room, we did not need the frills and expenses that would have come with a more expensive establishment. in fact, we wish that we had spent the other two nights of our Paris vacation at this hotel versus the hotel we chose in the city! A great deal with parking included, shuttle service, early check-in and […] baggage storage, complementary breakfast. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Our daughter enjoyed the fun bunk beds complete with curtains to make a hide-out. The lobby even had plenty of toys and stations to keep kids busy and entertained. Read more
"top class"
great size bed and room and every night there is a buffet for E29 for all you can eat with meat, sea foods and deserts.if you have kids there is a lot of things at the hotel to entertain them and the bus goes from your hotel to disneyland and back.
"GReat hotel for families with young children"
We chose this hotel for a trip to Paris and Disney. It proved to be a good choice. The regular shuttle bus takes you to the RER station/Disney entrances in less than 10 minutes. The hotel parking was not an additional charge and breakfast was also included in the price we paid. The breakfast was very good - plenty of choice, both hot and cold and […] plenty of healthy options. We had to queue for a short time for breakast each morning, but the queue was relatively short compared to some other big hotels that we have stayed in. The rooms were fine for what we wanted - somewhere to sleep for 3 nights as we were out all day. The grounds of the hotel lead to a small lake that you can walk around. The only negative for us was that the swimming pool is small and shallow - you can't really swim in it. It is ideal for very young children, but a bit of a disappointment for anyone over about 8 years. Read more
"Good alternative to Disney hotel"
This is the 2nd year in a row my wife and I have stayed in this hotel with our 2 year old son and for the price we paid we find it to be very good and conventient for visiting Disneyland. We priced staying at a Disney hotel this year and feel that they are over priced as we were never in the hotel for very long anyway. The Dreamcastle has a free shuttle […] service to Disney which we found very good and never had to wait more than 10 minutes for it. The breakfast buffet in the hotel offers a good selection and although the hotel was very busy the week we stayed the staff were very good at clearing the tables and we never had to wait very long for a table. The hotel pool is an ok size and our 2 year old loved the slide but I feel that the changing rooms were not as clean as last year and could do with a little maintainence. Read more
"Disney Experience..the French Way!"
Hotel was nice, except that the buffet needs more variety of fresh fruit. Also, the coffee was horrible! Its sad that you need to pay 177.00 and not have an adequate supply of coffee and tea in the room. They offer you a sample and after its done you must pay 6 euros for room refills! Never seen this in my travels. Shuttle service is a nice treat! Disneyland […] paris is nice but boy are the lines long, people pushing, some rides had to close due to 'problems' and the price of food is way to expensive. great experience for the kids! Read more

"What a great hotel - The last stop on shuttle bus to Disney"
Stayed at the DreamCastle with my wife and kids (age 6 & 10) and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was safe & spacious with plenty of things to keep the kids occupied after a busy day at Disney. Best thing of all was that the shuttle bus leaving the hotel was the last stop before reaching disney (5 mins). The only downside would be the cost […] of eating/drinking at the hotel but this does reflect the general price around the whole of Disneyland Paris. Would definately recommend to any family! "Well impressed!"
Just come back from paris and was very impressed with the Hotel - Dream Castle. 8 of us went , 4 adults 4 children - 16,16,15 and 13. When u arrive outside first impressions are always important and we were happy with ours from the outside. Spacious gardens for walking around and big on the inside. We were promptly seen to and staff were friendly and […] courteous. each room accommodated4, 2 bunks for the children and kingside bed for adults, room was done everyday by cleaning staff. Nice swimming pool and jaccuzi. Pool tables and games room. Breakfast was fab, plenty to choose from and keep u going until luchtime and served until 11 each day. We had a free shuttle to Disneyland 5 mins away and picked u up each day. We wanted to stay near Disneyland as we had mixed ages. We were doing the sightseeing in Paris as well so this suited us as we got the shuttle free to the train station each morning and then got the train and metro into paris(payment for this quite reasonable). So every evening we came back from Paris the children had things to do or u took the free shuttle to the Disney village and ate in one of the many restaurants there. I would definitely recommend the hotel for all. Mary C(Ireland) Read more
"Wish we had stayed longer"
My daughter and I stayed with my two granddaughters and the girls loved it. The bunk beds were a big hit and they adored the pool and the buffet breakfast. They are getting to the age where they feel Kids Meals are a bit babyish, but that's what they had to have in the expensive Disney restaurants in the Village, so they loved to be able to help themselves […] to the portions they wanted. Although the hotel is themed, it also feels like a four star hotel, and the grounds are beautiful. Read more
"Your kids will love it."
What can I say, the kids will love it. Parents don't expect too much the food is not great, but hey you stay here for the kids and it's all about Disneyland really and not much time is spent in the hotel when your think about it. My 8yr old daughter thought this was a fantastic hotel.
"Very good hotel"
Good size family room, very convenient free shuttle service which takes you to the main train station and disneyland parks so a lot of saving on taxi, complimentary breakfast was good.there were alot of things in the buffet so even very fussy eater children will find something to eat.swimming pool is also very good for children.on downside the wifi was […] only in public area and not in the rooms, and no english channels or any disney channel on tv as mentioned.overall is a great hotel with good services. "Good value. Convenient to Disney."
Hotel is enormous, but attractive. My room was spacious, with bunk beds for the kids and a huge king bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out easy. Decent, though not great breakfast buffet. Lots to entertain kids (pool, game room, billiards) although you dont go there to play around the hotel. No wifi in the hotel, but there is an […] Ethernet connection in the room for those with a laptop (not much help for users of wifi devices like smart phones and iPads.) Shuttle bus to Disney was frequent. Nothing of interest within walking distance of the hotel, just other large hotels in a cluster in an otherwise fairly rural setting. Bottom line: a good value for families spending a few days at the Disney complex. Read more
"Close to Disneyland"
We enjoyed our stay which was a very good base for our visit to Disneyland. The bus service to the train station and Disneyland was very effective and useful and worked well with our plans. There was a maintenance issue with the bunk beds involving loose "knobs" at the top of the ladder which I considered dangerous. The buffet dinner was excellent and […] the buffet breakfast was adequate as an inclusion in the total room cost. Free wifi was also a good feature for this hotel Overall I would stay there again as it was good value for money. Read more
"Fantastic hotel - a must for families"
A lovely hotel which is fantastic for families. Lots of space and activities for the children. Staff very helpful. Family room was great - bunk beds and castle theme room which the kids loved. Blackout curtains were an added bonus. Room has a decent size fridge which is ideal to store food and drink. Buffet dinner for 34euros for adults and 12 euros […] for kids. Very good range of food- healthy and delicious. Lots of fresh fish, salads, joints of meats and soups. Large choice of desserts. Breakfast was again a fantastic buffet with both hot and cold food. Excellent start to the day. Disneyland paris 5 min away by a regular shuttle bus.Swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi available to use all day. Vast gardens ideal for an evening stroll. Wifi free in public areas. Only downside was rate of exchange offered by teh hotel was poor. Will come back again. Read more
"Family short Break to Dream Castle Hotel & Disney"
The hotel was by far one of the most attractive hotels within the Disneyland Paris complexes. We were pleasantly surprised at how 'pretty' it looked. What we were not prepared for was the cost of the food! On top of that, the simple things like Air Hockey, Pool and Pinball games will set you back, and you dont get long! The breakfast was a bit hit-n-miss, […] with a surge of people going down around 8am and this didnt ease off until gone 10am. The choice of breakfast was ok, but I wouldn't rave about it. The evening buffet style meal was super but expensive as stated above. then the cost of drinks have to go on top! they were dear too. It seemed however, the whole area was expensive to eat. The pool looks much bigger than it really is and the Jacuzzi was tiny. Get a family of 4 or 5 in there and its full. However, the Hotel served its purpose and was a good place to rest after a hectic few days in the Disneyland Parcs. Clean and serviceable. Read more

"Dream castle Disneyland paris"
I would reccommend this very clean hotel, pleasant staff, beautiful gardens to the rear, bed was really comfortable, the breakfast choice was vast! However, given location extras are a little expensive, ie evening meal, bar, vending machines!
good family hotel with all facilities

"Excellent location and overall stay"
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the hotel. Location was excellent to Disneyland (10 mins by car) Free parking at Disneyland also if you take your room key with you to the parking entrance! The room was lovely and very clean. It was cleaned everyday and there was a huge bed! All staff were very welcoming and friendly :) Overall we loved the hotel […] and it was in the perfect location for us. The only negative thing I would say is that it is definitely worth eating at the shopping centre about a 5 minute drive away because the restaurant is very expensive at the hotel and there's quite a few nice restaurants in the Val d'Europe shopping centre. Breakfast was a little disappointing but other than that our stay at the hotel was excellent :) Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend it to others! Read more

"Over priced and unsatisfied"
I was extremely dissappointed with my stay at the Dream Castle Hotel. The hotel is huge like you would expect in Las Vegas or Orlando - yet not maintained in the same manner. This is the forth Disney Park I have visited and the hotel did not represent the typical Disney touch I've come to expect from a hotel bearings it's markings. The foyer smelt […] of cleaning agents, the baggage holding area looked as though it should be filled with wet ski gear, I'm not sure how to describe the smell in the hallway and the room was aged. The toilet seat had chips (the ceramic had fallen off) and the bath/shower had patches of mould. The staff were friendly which was a pleasant surprise. Another surprise was the breakfast. The 'scrambled eggs' sums it up. I think they were powdered, nevertheless, they were disgusting. The remainder of the breakfast products weren't bad but they were below average. This resort claims to be four star yet provided servies at a level far below. The cost does not represent the product. I would not recommend this hotel. Read more
