"Walking Distance for All Good Things."
Great!! Very friendly staff and helpful. Walking distance and close to lots of activities in the area. Rooms are very large. This is a Non-Smoking Hotel. If you smoke don't stay here. The staff will be on you like right now. I will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It is an older hotel and the staff were very good. I don't think we will stay there again, but other hotels were bookedGenuine Expedia guest review
"convenient if a bit cold - excellent staff"
Convenient to Zion National Park - excellent and thoughtful staff- but need more blankets!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff at the Inn at St. George was very friendly and accommodating. I forgot to mention that I needed a ground floor room when I booked. The office staff pulled off some magic to get me on the ground floor when I explained that I had recently had knee replacement surgery and would have a hard time climbing stairs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was clean and quiet, but the bed was not comfortable due to what felt like a plastic covered mattress.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Potential to be super cool!"
The Inn is in the middle of a remodel. I feel that is had the potential to be a really cool Mid-century Modern hotel, but needs more details. My room was a king suite. I could tell it had been recently remodeled, but things seemed rushed. It was clean & basic. It was worth the low price I booked it for. The man at the front desk was extremely friendly. […] Great pool area. Schedule your trip around a visit to the plethora of vintage shops that line the boulevard. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We booked this hotel because of the continental breakfast, and acceptance of small pets. When my children and I attempted to get breakfast, we were told that they had already put it away (at 8:45 am), but there may still be coffee in the pot. We paid the pet deposit in cash, and when we attempted to get our deposit returned ( no damage or problems with […] our small dogs) we were told that they would be keeping it as there was an additional charge of $25 per dog just for staying there. My husband had to argue with the desk to get our cash back. This was not exactly a great hotel to begin with, and to expect us to hand over an additional $50 was a bit much. Would not recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Clean no frills lodging"
The room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable enough. The heating/cooling worked just fine. The TV in the room was a flat panel and current techology. The advertised continental breakfast was all but non-existant when compared to the established standard. Two choices of dry cereal, instant oatmeal, a waffle maker, and juice does not cut it. There […] was not any fruit, doughnut, roll, or bagel to be had. Having to pack up your breakfast and carry it outside (in 20 degree tempetature) and down two doors to another room to sit down to eat was a royal pain you know where. This would have been a deal breaker had I known ahead of time. Can't recommend staying here for the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just ok, Won't stay here again."
At first I liked the look of this hotel, and got a good price on our room, so I went ahead and booked it. After staying there, I honestly think they should be priced within the $45 range, rather than the $60-70 range. First, I like a firm mattress on occasion, but the beds are super hard, even the pillows were uncomfortable! They were using a flat white […] sheet on either side of a thin brown blanket as their bedding, and didnt supply any other blankets in the room. Second, we had a a shower stall, which would have been ok, if the shower head rotated downward. Instead, it hit high on the stall wall, the same level as my face, so I had to stand along the wall just to get a little water. Also know that I am 5'4" tall, so if you are tall, it shouldn't be an issue for you. The room was clean though, which after a full day of driving was nice relief. I have stayed at Quality Inn before for less money and gotten more out of it, so I will be staying there from now on. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room for the price and friendly staff"
I stayed at The Inn in St. George strictly because the hotel appeared to have been renovated, clean, and inexpensive. It was not to appealing on the outside but then I don't stay at motels too often. Check in was fast and the staff was very cordial. I was impressed with the attentiveness of the front desk operator who called me shortly after I booked […] the stay to inquire as to my arrival time inasmuch as it was late evening when I booked the room. The room was exactly as expected and worth repeating that it was inexpensive, clean and recently renovated. The bed was not the most comfortable I have slept in but it didn't keep me awake so I consider the entire adventure a success. I don't stay in travel motels too often, in fact describing my experience in that regard as "rarely" would probably be generous, but I consider my stay as well worth the money spent. "Great Hotel for the Price"
I was staying overnight for work and was quite satisfied with the motel. Stayed on Dec, 18 2013. The owners are in the process of remodeling an older motel and are doing a nice job. Room was freshly painted with flat screen, fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and clean. The location is in the heart of downtown St. George and was within walking […] distance of nice locally owned (i.e. non-chain) restaurants, including a thai restaurant and a pub (which are virtually non-existent in St. George. "Different from the photos"
The photos of their rooms seem a little updated but it was totally different in person. Room is very dated, depressing, and a/c makes really loud noise. I couldn't wait to get out from the place next day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean room, good service."
The room was very clean and the service was very good. The mattress was a little hard, but not too bad. My only complaint was the bed frame. The corner is very sharp and my husband and I kept banging our calves on it, My mother stayed in another room and she did the same thing, bruising up her lower leg quite a bit quite a bit. "nice but no coffee"
The Inn was quite nice. Front desk staff was wonderful. Don't hope to get an early start to see the sites in the area since there is no coffee in the room and the continental breakfast and coffee in the lobby does not open up until 7:00.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"So bad we had to laugh- below budget hotel expecta"
We were so amazed by our negative experience at "The Inn" we made a list and just laughed: checking in, the front desk made fun of our car, then made us feel bad to ask for the free upgrade which was promised to us by the earlier shift from when we called. He gave upgrade but made us feel like we shouldn't be getting it. Plus, the earlier shift guy […] promised to leave a note to avoid confusion; no duvet cover on the bed but just white sheets; mattress was covered in plastic so we asked the front desk about it and they said that all their mattresses were that way because of infestation of bedbugs. My sister in the next room didn't have plastic on her mattress; bathtub raised a foot off the ground and my head hit the ceiling. Called front desk who said they were trying to make room handicap friendly but was too much work and they gave up. So why did the door have a handicap sign on it if you gave up? The bathtub was leaking small steady stream of water. We had to close the door to reduce the noise which didn't work so we turned on the heater which smelled like burnt hair. It was 1am when we got settled in and discovered all of these problems so we just said whatever and went to bed. Next day water pressure was bad and took 10 mins to dial in to the right water temp. We had the next night reserved which we promptly cancelled. The next night we paid half the rate of this place elsewhere. "Very affordable stay for one night"
We needed just a one night stay to split our travel up. We just got whatever was cheapest and had breakfast. Not exactly sure what I expected. The rooms were small and outdated, the rooms furthest away from the desk got more trashy looking from the outside. Breakfast was nothing more than some toast, waffle maker, juice, and boiled eggs. For a one night […] stay much like we were in need of it did just fine especially for the price. Any longer than a night though it'd be worth paying the extra money to stay in a nicer place. "Definitely a 2 star experience"
The staff were friendly and kind. But the bed was horrible. We could feel the springs and every time we moved they made a springing noise. The bathroom did not have a fan. The curtains were ratty. "Mediocre at best."
Very nice and helpful front desk. However, this place is old and run down. Beds were lumpy bumpy... definitely not comfortable. Renovated bathroom was ok but the shower was tiny. Curtains hanging off the rod,, missing clips. Very noisy. Its a good location though. Won't stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It is just a 2 star hotel"
They really need to work on their beds. The room was clean but just looked old. The mattress had a plastic cover then just a sheet no soft mattress pad and on top was just sheets with a blanket between, no soft comforter.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not as nice as we expected. Room was small and shower was tiny. The bed was too firm and uncomfortable, and there was traffic going by outside the window all night - so it was a bad night's sleep. It also looks like kind of a dive from the outside, but at least it was clean. Judging from other reviews, I thought it would be much nicer. There's got to […] be a nicer room in town for the price. We had 2 rooms, both with the most awful bed I think I have ever slept on. After the first night we we and bought some air mattresses to put on top of the beds. Since we had to pay before we stayed, we had no other choice. After looking in some of the other rooms, we noticed that some of the other single bed rooms appeared to have better beds. The bedding […] also had small gray fuzzies all over as well as the linen in the bathroom. The bathroom seemed to be newly updated, tile, sink and paint. Our feet were a little dirty after walking around on the carpet. Pool was down for cleaning but were told it would be up on our send day stay. It was not. "Good budget stay"
We were in St George for a marching band competition for my son. I picked this hotel partly because it was located near the competition and because it was budget friendly. The room was clean and had plenty of room and the staff was friendly. I was disappointed that the beds each only had two pillows, but I was able to get a few more. They had a continental […] breakfast that was fine for us, there was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee so that was of little use to us and would have been nice to have coffee in the room but we just got some from the breakfast area. We were on the ground floor and the sliding glass door was difficult to secure, but overall for the price, our room was fine. We paid under $200 total for two nights in a room with two queen beds, a fridge, microwave and sink, but with the lack of other amenities in the room (coffee, hair dryer, extra blanket and pillows) I would have been upset if we had paid any more than that for the room. "Downtown St. George location"
The room was delivered as promised online with regard to rates and beds. The continental breakfast provides more items than most, but the lobby room used is too small to accommodate a group of more that 5-6 people who are in line to get their food. An additional waffle iron and coffee decanter needs to be added to speed things up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This hotel wasn't at all good. The beds were obviously old. There were springs sticking into my hip all night. They used a plastic sheet under the regular sheet so your skin felt moist all night. Where do I begin? As my son and I were gathering are things to leave, I noticed a dead cockroach right in front of the mini fridge , I don't recall it being there the previous evening but at least it was dead! A mattress that has needed to be replaced for quite some time, with creaky bed springs, had I known about the bed situation I would have brought […] my own futon mattress, that would have been way more comfortable. A refrigerator in the room that is noisy enough to wake you up every time it kicks on, broken tiles in the bathroom area, horrible bed linens, and the worst continental breakfast I have ever experienced in probably over 200 hotel stays in my life. "Not worth $119 a night!!!"
It was bad for the price, very deceiving. Missing several accommodations, smelled too...Genuine Expedia guest review
Every time I went to the office, there were different people working there. When I made the reservation, I called there to make sure that queen bed/queen bed meant 2 beds, and was assured that it did. But when I arrived on Sun, our reservation was only for 1 bed. They had a room w/2 beds, but only for the 1st 3 days. Melissa said she would try to get […] a room for us after the 3 days, but I told her 1 bed would be adequate then. she said she didn't have a room at that time, but she would try to get one for us. I found another motel who had a room I could reserve for the last 3 days, so I reserved it. On Mon night, I told Michael (who said he was the manager) that I had found another room starting Wed, so would he please check to make sure Melissa hadn't reserved a room for me starting on Wed. He checked, and said there wasn't a reservation. I asked him to put something in the computer showing that I didn't want a room starting on Wed, and he did. When I went to check out on Wed, a different gal said I had a reservation starting on Wed. I told her what had transpired before, & she said but you DO have a reservation. But she saw the note Michael had left, and finally agreed that she would take care of it. They were all very nice, but it was really stressful to have to go through all of this with 3 different people. The breakfast wasn't real great, but it was adequate for the price. It was clean and convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not bad for overnight"
Though the hotel is a little dated and could be updated, I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. All of the bedding was crisp, pillows fluffy and the bathroom was spotless. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly but may want to be more knowledgeable about what is in the area. I asked how far we were away from Tuacahn and he looked at […] me like he didn't know what I was talking about and then said he didn't know. St George isn't that big of a place that you should have some knowledge about the local activities, events or shows. The hotel is old. Even though they have tried to renovate it, it is still old. They have put a bandaid on a large wound. The beds are uncomfortable, you can feel the springs. The pool is not heated.
