It was a small, but very clean room and priced very well. We were just passing through and needed a clean safe place for the night. St. George is a beautiful city, wish we could have stayed longer to see more of the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed With My Stay"
When I checked in, I found out that my reservation had been messed up. They quickly fixed the problem though. The check in clerk apologized in advance for the electronic locks on the room, they sometimes don't work very well. They have free WiFi but it is extremely slow. No coffee pot in the room which I thought was rather strange. I called to arrange […] a wake up call at 5:30 AM and was told they don't have wake up service until after 7:00 AM. The mattress on the bed was not comfortable. This is the first time I've stayed in the St. George area, but for the price, I will be checking out other hotels in the future. "What you expect from what you pay."
The rooms were tired looking even though they had done reno's. You could hear your neighbours very clearing. The matresses were wrapped in plastic completely with only two sheet over the plastic. You felt like you were sleeping right on it. The dead bolt didn't work and our screen door was unlocked when we first went in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The picture is deceiving as there have been improvements made to the picture compared to the actual look of the facility. The rooms were large and clean but old, outdated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean but could use some upgrades"
The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The mattress was poor at best. It had a microwave and fridge but no coffee maker. There was also no hair dryer. Fortunately my daughter brought the bathroom with her. The location was fantastic. Lots of restaurants and local shops within walking distance. I wouldn't recommend it however I would definitely […] caution people about the needed upgrades. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trying to modernize"
Old hotel that is trying to upgrade. Rooms are clean, new tile, carpet, and bedding. Friendly staff wanting to help in any way possible. Still old furniture and windows. Was not the best value for the money, but they could get away with high prices due to demand during spring break. Two great breakfast places and a bar within a block walk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Overall enjoyed staying at the Inn, breakfast was good including coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, fresh belgian waffles, bananas, yogurt, hot & cold cereal and toast. Budget minded, but with friendly staff, waffles for breakfast. Rooms were fine for a crash and dash. Close to Blvd but I still slept well. Everything center of town is walking distance. Will return with the doggies next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"conveniently located for my needs"
It is a good basic room; I did miss a nice closet rather than the wardrobe that was there. We also miss having the ability to play a dvd that we had brought along. An extra blanket in the room would be nice, but at least we were able to turn on the heater when it got a little chilly. There were plenty of towels but it would be nice to have more wash […] cloths. "INN at St. George; Newly Remodeled??? Not so much."
Unfortunately I have to give this place a big thumbs down. The remodel they did was very poor; basically an over-application of the very dated orange peel wall/ceiling texture, and a coat of paint. They did put in new vanities, but they are very low grade and already falling apart. The carpet was still old and not in good shape. Our window was frosted […] so you couldn't see through it, because the "view" behind us was the back of the restaurants. The bathroom door knob was installed backwards, so you could actually have locked yourself in the bathroom. No hot water, and the valve finishes in the "remodeled" shower were actually door knob wall protectors with holes drilled in them, while the actual wall that needed a door knob protector didn't have one.... Oh boy, I kind of feel sorry for this place. Whoever the contractor was that did the remodel should be ashamed! Oh, and the free breakfast that is included is a joke.... Some juice and a waffle iron in the main office.... And if you want to sit down and eat, you have to walk your food over to another room outside from the office to sit down and eat.... Just poor design layout, and a half-hearted effort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Amazing Hotel! Highly recommended!"
We stayed 1 night and it was very nice. Non-smoking hotel that smelled great and had a kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave, along with a great tv and remote. The room was spacious and the staff was friendly and spoke English, too! We had a soccer game to get to during the 7-9 AM breakfast but we returned and they let us eat after 9:30 and that was a […] great gesture from the employees. The pool was closed because it's solar-heated and this was in February, so that's understandable. The location is perfect and plenty of parking and very quiet. My kids were in awe at how amazing this hotel was and I plan on staying there again if we are traveling through St. George in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The staff at the Inn at St. George was very friendly and accommodating. I forgot to mention that I needed a ground floor room when I booked. "Potential to be super cool!"
The Inn is in the middle of a remodel. I feel that is had the potential to be a really cool Mid-century Modern hotel, but needs more details. My room was a king suite. I could tell it had been recently remodeled, but things seemed rushed. It was clean & basic. It was worth the low price I booked it for. The man at the front desk was extremely friendly. We booked this hotel because of the continental breakfast, and acceptance of small pets. When my children and I attempted to get breakfast, we were told that they had already put it away (at 8:45 am), but there may still be coffee in the pot. We paid the pet deposit in cash, and when we attempted to get our deposit returned ( no damage or problems with […] our small dogs) we were told that they would be keeping it as there was an additional charge of $25 per dog just for staying there. My husband had to argue with the desk to get our cash back. This was not exactly a great hotel to begin with, and to expect us to hand over an additional $50 was a bit much. "Clean no frills lodging"
The room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable enough. The heating/cooling worked just fine. The TV in the room was a flat panel and current techology. The advertised continental breakfast was all but non-existant when compared to the established standard. Two choices of dry cereal, instant oatmeal, a waffle maker, and juice does not cut it. There […] was not any fruit, doughnut, roll, or bagel to be had. Having to pack up your breakfast and carry it outside (in 20 degree tempetature) and down two doors to another room to sit down to eat was a royal pain you know where. This would have been a deal breaker had I known ahead of time. Can't recommend staying here for the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just ok, Won't stay here again."
At first I liked the look of this hotel, and got a good price on our room, so I went ahead and booked it. After staying there, I honestly think they should be priced within the $45 range, rather than the $60-70 range. First, I like a firm mattress on occasion, but the beds are super hard, even the pillows were uncomfortable! They were using a flat white […] sheet on either side of a thin brown blanket as their bedding, and didnt supply any other blankets in the room. Second, we had a a shower stall, which would have been ok, if the shower head rotated downward. Instead, it hit high on the stall wall, the same level as my face, so I had to stand along the wall just to get a little water. Also know that I am 5'4" tall, so if you are tall, it shouldn't be an issue for you. The room was clean though, which after a full day of driving was nice relief. I have stayed at Quality Inn before for less money and gotten more out of it, so I will be staying there from now on. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room for the price and friendly staff"
I stayed at The Inn in St. George strictly because the hotel appeared to have been renovated, clean, and inexpensive. It was not to appealing on the outside but then I don't stay at motels too often. Check in was fast and the staff was very cordial. I was impressed with the attentiveness of the front desk operator who called me shortly after I booked […] the stay to inquire as to my arrival time inasmuch as it was late evening when I booked the room. The room was exactly as expected and worth repeating that it was inexpensive, clean and recently renovated. The bed was not the most comfortable I have slept in but it didn't keep me awake so I consider the entire adventure a success. I don't stay in travel motels too often, in fact describing my experience in that regard as "rarely" would probably be generous, but I consider my stay as well worth the money spent. "Great Hotel for the Price"
I was staying overnight for work and was quite satisfied with the motel. Stayed on Dec, 18 2013. The owners are in the process of remodeling an older motel and are doing a nice job. The location is in the heart of downtown St. George and was within walking […] distance of nice locally owned (i.e. non-chain) restaurants, including a thai restaurant and a pub (which are virtually non-existent in St. George. "Clean room, good service."
The room was very clean and the service was very good. The mattress was a little hard, but not too bad. My only complaint was the bed frame. "So bad we had to laugh- below budget hotel expecta"
We were so amazed by our negative experience at "The Inn" we made a list and just laughed: checking in, the front desk made fun of our car, then made us feel bad to ask for the free upgrade which was promised to us by the earlier shift from when we called. He gave upgrade but made us feel like we shouldn't be getting it. Plus, the earlier shift guy […] promised to leave a note to avoid confusion; no duvet cover on the bed but just white sheets; mattress was covered in plastic so we asked the front desk about it and they said that all their mattresses were that way because of infestation of bedbugs. My sister in the next room didn't have plastic on her mattress; bathtub raised a foot off the ground and my head hit the ceiling. Called front desk who said they were trying to make room handicap friendly but was too much work and they gave up. So why did the door have a handicap sign on it if you gave up? The bathtub was leaking small steady stream of water. We had to close the door to reduce the noise which didn't work so we turned on the heater which smelled like burnt hair. It was 1am when we got settled in and discovered all of these problems so we just said whatever and went to bed. Next day water pressure was bad and took 10 mins to dial in to the right water temp. We had the next night reserved which we promptly cancelled. The next night we paid half the rate of this place elsewhere. "Very affordable stay for one night"
We needed just a one night stay to split our travel up. We just got whatever was cheapest and had breakfast. Not exactly sure what I expected. Not as nice as we expected. Room was small and shower was tiny. The bed was too firm and uncomfortable, and there was traffic going by outside the window all night - so it was a bad night's sleep. We had 2 rooms, both with the most awful bed I think I have ever slept on. After the first night we we and bought some air mattresses to put on top of the beds. Since we had to pay before we stayed, we had no other choice. After looking in some of the other rooms, we noticed that some of the other single bed rooms appeared to have better beds. The bedding […] also had small gray fuzzies all over as well as the linen in the bathroom. The bathroom seemed to be newly updated, tile, sink and paint.
