Excellent place for your Canadian Rockies holiday.
It was our favorite place to stay during our trip in the Canadian Rockies. We stayed four nights and loved it. I enjoyed the hot tub and having the store was very convenient too. The room had everything we could need. It felt like being at home and being able to cook our own meals saved us a lot of money. The staff was very warm and helpful. Parking was easy and we enjoyed the firepit and meeting other guests.

Noisy night, but otherwise cozz happy little cabin
Overall this is a very good place to stay! Our cabin was very cozy, it was great to come back to it each night after a long day of skiing and the hot tub was perfect for our sore muscles too! Our little kitchen was adequate for making breakfasts and dinners and the fireplace is stocked with firewood every day. The staff are super friendly and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. The cabins are easily located between both of the ski resorts (30 minutes to each) as well. A few tips: The kitchen is only stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. I was surprised that the only spices were salt/pepper as it appears they must clean out after each guest, so you'll have to bring or buy your own for everything you plan to cook. Also, make sure to buy/bring your own paper towels, as our first night there, we learned the hard way and had to wipe the counters with toilet paper, ha! And finally, I'm not sure if all of the cabins are this way, but I'd recommend ear plugs. The train noise actually didn't bother us despite all the warnings we had read about, it was actually quite cozy and they only came by once or twice a night. What actually woke us up quite frequently was our incredibly noisy thermostat as when it turned on, it make a loud banging/clapping noise and would wake us with a start every time. Four nights of rough sleep made for tough nights, so again, not sure if it was just cabin 19, or if all of the thermostats are this way.

Trains but convenient for exploring.
There was a problem with our booking in which it was rejected by the chalet but hotels.com showed the booking was still confirmed. This caused quite a headache at check-in (especially since there's really nowhere else around to stay if the booking fell through), but after a bit of insistence we were given a more expensive but discounted cabin. This cabin was much more comfortable (absolutely gorgeous!) compared to the more basic cabin which we had originally booked. The staff in the end gave us a very sweet card and bottle of bubbly to congratulate us on our wedding (this was our honeymoon). The train line runs quite close, and sometimes wake you up early in the morning. Otherwise the view of Castle Mountain is gorgeous, the neighborhood very peaceful, and the location is conveniently halfway between Banff and Lake Louise for exploring either areas and still making it back to enjoy the fireplace, cozy tub, and affordable homemade dinners.

Good Location Older Chalets
The Chalets are older and very close to one another and the railroad tracks. The best that can be said about this place is that the location is good between Banff and Lake Louise.
