The air conditioning did not work half the time. I had to check it every hour to make sure it was on otherwise it would shut off. The wifi stopped working. I was not able to get the main tv working. There were 5 remotes and not one of them worked to turn the tv on. The stove didn't work properly. I had to fix it myself. We ran out of toilet paper on the second day. I had to wash my own towels. I think we would have happier in a hotel that took better care of the guests.

Worst Mother's day ever.
Roaches and bugs. Stained furniture and carpets. Awful looking furniture. Damaged walls and doors. I mean what does a bucket of paint cost? Uncomfortable couch and beds. I thought I was sleeping on the box spring not the mattress. Pillows without pillow cases. Stained pillows and blankets. No toilet paper provided. The restaurant only served snacks. The pool was great until it became completely over crowded and dangerous. Kids jumping off the rocks into the 3 foot lazy river while you are trying to float around. When I say crowded I mean you are constantly bumping into people not only in the pool but on the patio also. The spa had no masseuse that works weekends. If you want to get your nails done you might get in. We checked out early just so we could sleep in a comfortable bed somewhere else. I only wished I had taken photos to show how bad it was.

Got charge in top of what I already have pay for the room at begin if of reservation a cleaning daily fee of $88 plus the $12.95 resort fee never came to clean room no batteries on remote control no toilet paper no soap it was a disaster under the sofa was filthy call for housekeeping for toilet paper and soap never show up maintenance never show up and I have paid a extra fee for insurance $44.94 my initial room quote was $220 I tought it was a great rate for 2 days u ended up paying over $500 at the end beware of this property and hotels.com did not help at all I got there at 11pm and they offer to cancel the reservation and I was going to be charge for one day so I was going to lose $300 just to make a reservation and no place for o stay at the end for 2 days $589 when I already have prepaid $220 which should have be it so be aware

Not A Good Choice!
During my stay we checked in and the front desk guy Charles was very helpful. Once in the house we found a blanket that smelled of urine in the closet, we didn't have any rags and the upstairs bedding was torn. I contact housekeeping and left a message in hopes that someone would call me right away no return call. We checked in Friday night and on Saturday morning when going to utilize the kitchen I found that there were dead flies on the window seals and the light in the refrigerator light was out and bowls were in the cabinet and they were filthy. The toaster oven had old bread crumbs in it and it was very nasty oh yea they have vertical blinds throughout the place that was broken we had to use a sheet in the down stairs room to cover the window because of the blinds being broken . Needless to say the place was located in a nice area but the housekeeping issues make the place very unattractive I will never stay in this location again and I don't recommend it to anyone else

Enough perks to make it worth your while
We chose to stay at the Regal Palms Resort because of the affordable and spacious townhouses, and the pool, lazy river and waterslide was a perfect fit for our three sons -- ages 7, 9, and 13. The drive to the theme parks wasn't too far to be a frustration. The townhouse was older and the carpets were stained and the beds not particularly comfortable, but you get what you pay for. We were glad to be able to make most of our meals here rather than paying to eat every meal out. We didn't spend much time at the hotel, but when we did, we were swimming, sleeping or eating. We would stay here again. It made our Disney/Universal trip much more reasonably priced! Thank you!
