Great place for the price! All we need is a comfortable place to sleep when we visit our son at Cornell so do not need amenities. Extremely clean. Location is super on the south side - we do not have to cross downtown or the campus.

Even though the hotel is located on a busy highway and my room faced it, there was no noise impact, which was great. Even though the hotel is located in a commercial area, Ithaca is so small that you can get anywhere in five minutes. This was a good value.

Disappointed that there were never cookies available. It's a small thing, but we were promised cookies and the two days in a row we were there, the cookies were gone. Hotel staff didnt seem to care. Kind of a "sorry, your loss" attitude.

Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The complimentary coffee/cookies and daily breakfast made the whole stay even better. The location was really central, too. I will plan on booking here again on all of my future visits to Ithaca.

A very nice hotel. Right on a busy road, so there was traffic noice. But room was very clean and comfortable. Note - the hotel discription mentions bar/lounge. This is located in the main lobby - very nice, but not a 'bar'.

It is a very nice, clean Hotel my ony issue was the noise from the street kept me from sleeping. My girlfriend and I are light sleepers and there was no option for a king room on the back side of the hotel.

The hotel is typical Hampton and fine in all respects. However they were remodeling the ground level which moved things around and they were installing new flooring. I booked this a few months ago and was unaware of the major revovation going on in the main lobby/floor. It was a complete mess understandably. But I thought the hotel and/or hotels.com should have compensated to some degree. The rooms were very clean however, so I think the hotel is doing its best to keep things manageable. But it was a shock.

My daughter and I arrived to freshly baked cookies and hot coffee. The front desk staff was courteous and very professional. It took me less than 5 minutes to get up to my room. The room was spotless!!! I must admit that it was THE CLEANEST hotel room I had ever seen. The beds were extremely comfortable and the heater/air conditioner was controlled […] by a digital thermostat. My daughter and I had had a hectic 48 hours before our arrival so we wanted to have dinner, relax for a couple of hours, and then get some sleep to be ready for our college information session and tour the next day. One block away, on the same side of the street was an Asian Bistro that served Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! After dinner and a couple hours of relaxing conversation, we went to sleep. Our beds were clean, cozy, and comfortable. We awoke the next morning to a wonderful continental breakfast complete with sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit in fruit juice, yogurt, English muffins, danishes, pastries, toast, oatmeal, waffles, juice, etc. After breakfast, we checked out. Check -out took less than 10 seconds and we werer on our way! I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself in the future. Read more

Great hotel for money. However, housekeeping started pounding on our door before 9:00 a.m. and came back an hour later and did it again. They should be told when you check out and not be pounding repeatedly on the door. I felt like we were being rushed out before check out time.

It was sufficient, and reasonably convenient to Cornell, where we were visiting our son. The breakfast hours were convenient, and the selection was fine. There was a pool and exercise room that we didn't use, but they looked clean and adequate. The hotel was good value for the cost.

This hotel is in a commercial area of Ithaca - near restaurants, big box stores, etc. It is nicer than the average hotel in this area, and also a bit more expensive usually. I would stay here again if I wanted a bit more upscale for a night, and would stay at one of the less expensive hotels if I just wanted a place to sleep for a night. The title says it all. This is a great place to stay when in town for work or visiting family and friends. Much appreciate that it is pet friendly. (I believe there is a size limit.)

Very friendly service makes this Hampton Inn stand out from others in the chain. Clean, comfortable (although I wish they'd lose the duvets) and convenient for all areas of Ithaca. We had a very pleasant 3 day stay.
