I stay there whenever I can get a price discount on the room. Wonderful place and a perfect location.

We booked a room with a queen bed, instead got a double. .At 2am we were woking to a large crowd out side that was very loud and at 7am they started to clean windows.

This is a must hotel to stay in Boston if you prefer habor side.

This Hotel was 100% what we were looking for. It was in a PERFECT location, 1 block to Fennial Hall, Quincy market and the Harbor. The Old Trolley Tour was also just across the street. We parked just 2 blocks away at 75 State Street and got 20% off because we stayed at Harborside in. Just remember to have them(the hotel) stamp your ticket for the garage. […] The room was a perfect size and the bathroom was new an updated. We had an interior room. It was perfect for what we needed because even though we did not have a view we spent hardly anytime in the room. The staff was very helpful and there was coffee and tea available 24/7 in the lobby. There was no food in the hotel but a bar right next door as wall as a 24/7 market right on the corner. My only complaint was the pillows. The got super flat when you put your head on them. So maybe bring a pillow you like. But all in all 100% from me!!! Will defiantly stay again as long as the rate is good. Read more

Great location - near to Fanueil Hall, Quincy Market, Long Wharf, Aquarium. Short taxi ride to North End (or long walk on a warm day). Very modern room and modern decor added to the fun of the trip.

Harborside is built around a narrow central atrium, so my room had a windo on to the atrium, but not to the outside.The room was very large, and fairly nice. Not distinctive enough to qualify as "boutique," but not standard issue generic hotel room either. The room included a hi-fi stero receiver and a DVD player, two nice amenities that I didn't expect. […] The staff was friendly. The lobby is small and somewhat odd, but may be going through a refresh...there were signs of construction under way. The location is a very short distance from the Aquarium, the Greenway and Quincy Market and a short, pleasant walk away from Boston Common, the State House, etc. Good headuarters for a visit, but not a destination hotel. Easy access to airport by T. Easy walking distance to tourist sights. Lobby was being renovated.

It was fabulous. The location could not possibly be better.The staff was friendly. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave.

GREAT location just steps from Quincy Market, very pleasant staff, super clean room, nothing too fancy but really comfortable bed. Would DEF. stay here again!

The hotel was close to Quincy Mkt., very convenient. The room was bigger than expected and had a nice cozy feel with two brick walls. Very clean and felt more like an apartment than conventional rooms in the city. Very pleased overall!

This is a great location for seeing all the sights of Boston. Subway stop right outside the hotel lobby makes it super easy to see everything. Short walk to Quincy Market and to the harbor and aquarium. The hotel lobby was in the middle of a renovation, so it was kind of a mess, but the Hotel staff was super nice, extremely helpful and friendly. Even […] though there were workers present, they let guests pass without running loud or interfering equipment. In short, we were surprised when we walked into a lobby under construction, but the cleanliness and comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff made up for the slight disappointment. Stayed in downtown Boston half a dozen times. Best hotel so far for quality, staff, price and LOCATION. Thank you!

Lobby is under construction but it's not a problem. Location is great right by the Aquarium T and Quincy market. Everything closes early though, like most of Boston. The room was great except there's not a whole lot of natural light bc the windows face the indoor atrium but that's no reason not to stay! I would recommend.

Would definitely stay on our next trip. We came to Boston for weekend to rent bikes and cycle around. Bike rental shop was 5 min away and hotel was convenient to everything. Friendly staff, they let us bring our bikes in over night too! :-)

Great location. Affordable. Clean. Quiet. Would stay again.

We stayed over Good Friday night for a convention. The hotel is very nice. We did not experience any problems with the renovation that other reviewers are talking about. The room was recently refurbished and bigger than I had anticipated.

The only disappointing part of our stay was the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We both had backaches when we got up in the morning.

Hotel is very close to Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall and a great location. Lack of valet parking was a surprise but not a problem on a pleasant April day with little luggage but winter would present issues. Nice hotel, conveniently located, pleasant decor, quaint lobby. There are several PCs in the lobby with internet access to check email, reservations, etc. Wireless internet access in rooms was very good. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. I liked the 'old school' key - yes a metal key with a small silver keychain that had the room number etched […] in it. The floorboards in the hallway and my room creaked, perhaps due to having 'authentic' flooring in a building likely 100+ years old. I could do without the squeaking, but it didn't bother me too much. The hotel is located in a central area, close to the Quincy Market, food court and shopping! Most of the tour buses have stop nearby

We had heard this hotel was small but great. We agree. We'll definately stay there again. Our room had just been beautifully recorated. Drawbacks? Parking - short walk from hotel - no valet. Not a deal breaker for us though. Highly recommend

NO FRILLS CLEAN HOTEL IN GREAT LOCATION RIGHT IN FANUEIL HALL ,NORTH END AND WHARF

This hotel has average size rooms, few amenities and the lobby was under construction while I was there. I spent a week in a single and it was extremely comfortable. great location near the aquarium.

Great hotel in financial district convenient to harbor and Quincy market. T train located outside front door. Several nice steak, seafood and Irish pubs nearby. I've stayed here 10+ times, and the hilton on 89 broad street around the corner. Harborside Inn is about a hundred bucks cheaper and just as nice. Two downsides - no restaurant in the building […] (but plenty nearby), and only one bed per room. Free coffee and couple of internet access computers w/printer in the lobby. The are remodeling the lobby, to be done May 2012, but know what extras that will bring. Read more

Recently stayed at the Harborside Inn for a weekend trip to Boston with my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised! Nice and clean room interiors, friendly staff, and a great location! They were renovating the lobby at the time so it wasn't great looking but I'm positive it will look great in the end. The Harborside Inn is right outside the Aquarium […] T stop so if you want to hop on the train you have no problem. It's surrounded by plenty of bars/pubs (some are better than others - I recommend The Black Rose if you're looking for a traditional Irish place) and is a close walk to the North End which is full of great Italian resturants! It's also across the street from Fanueil Hall (offering plenty of shopping) and a part of the Freedom Trail. One of the things we appreciated most was the parking discount offered with our stay in conjunction with a nearby parking garage, which was great considering parking on the street would have been very difficult and a little tedious. Overall, if you are looking for a place at a reasonable price in a great location then the Harborside Inn is it! I definitely would recommend it to family and friends and look forward to a return trip. Read more

A great place to stay, amazing location, great price and the rooms are comfortable, clean and nice. The only thing missing are amenities as far as pool, etc. but as long as you're happy without that, this place far exceeds expectations, it was a really amazing find.

Great location - room was clean and roomy enough. No tea coffee in room but available 24/7 in lobby. No valet parking, but garage right around the corner. I'd stay again - renos in lobby, but no problem.

Great location. Right near Quincy Market and the Aquarium, and only a short walk to the North End and Boston Commons. The rooms were small but comfortable and clean, with a nice large TV. I would suggest requesting an atrium facing room. We had a city view room, which really looked into the windows of the building next door. Not a big deal, but it was […] a bit noisy in the morning. They will also hold your bags for you after you check out if you are planning to do some more in the city, which worked out terrificly for us. It was great deal and comfortable stay in an excellent location located. It has been renewed and there was further renewing going on-it will make it even nicer. A perfect place for a short business vist.

I was in town for one night and stayed at the Harborside Inn. It was in a PERFECT location, a short walk from Faneuil Hall and a 20 minute walk to TD Garden. There were some massive renovations going on, including a loud hammering noise during the afternoon, but since we weren't there to hang out in our hotel room it was fine with us. My husband and I stayed at the Harborside Inn on St. Patrick's Day weekend.This hotel is a hidden gem among giant buildings. It is located steps from Fanuil Hall on one side, and the Aquarium, IMax theatre, and seaport on the other. We were greeted at our car by a friendly young man who toted our luggage all the way up to our spacious room. We requested […] a king bed and the room included amenities such as a refrigerator, safe, large flat-screened tv, and even a stereo system and DVD/VCR player! The bathroom was large, with a great walk-in shower. The decor was modern but comfortable. Also, the lobby contained 4 new computers with a printer. This place was reasonable and a great value. They were doing some renovating, but since it was the weekend, it wasn't a problem. The only thing that was missing was a breakfast room/lounge area because the only place to really get a breakfast on the weekend is at the Dunkin' Donuts up the street. However, they do offer complimentary coffee in the lobby 24 hours. The friendly staff hinted that possibly a new dining area is in the works with the new renovations- if so, it would complete an already great hotel. In addition,If you drive your car to Boston, discounted parking is available up the street and is very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly. . Read more

The Harborside Inn of Boston was a perfect location for our winter getaway.Walking distance to the north end and Fanieul hall market place. We have already recommended it to several people. We will definitely stay there again.
