The Rusty Parrot is one of the very best Lodges - anywhere! The staff was incredible, fussing over our 39th anniversary, upgrading our room, sending us champagne, a fruit tray and a nice hand written note. They even have someone come to you room to start your wood burning fireplace. There are sitting areas with hot cider, cookies and coffee and tea […] available 24 hours. The construction, decor and quality of maintenance is fantastic. It is right on the edge of the old downtown making it easy walking to everything. The Wild Sage restuarant is elegant, yet comfortable with service and food on the highest level. I had a Buffalo Rib-Eye that was perfect. The chef even came over to our table and talked with us a while. He was extremely likeable and a great chef. My wife had a superb massage at the Body Place and said it was "sublime" and that the therapist did exactly as my wife requested - an upper body masage only. "It seems that every therapist will only give you their version of a complete massage, not what you ask for. Here they cater to what you want." The staff gave me great advise on where to find the Big horned sheep and moose. Of course they advised the Sleigh Ride through the Elk Preserve and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Yes, the staff was excellent, especially Lynn. The combination of all the wonderful features of the Lodge and the sincere, nowledgeable and incredible staff make the Rusty Parrot a fabulous place to stay. Read more

The cook staff in the small kitchen in the lovely dining room on the property does a distinctly superb job, Rooms are spacious, immaculate and very comfy. Wonderful visit to the Rusty Parrot. Spa services were great. Excellent food beautifully prepared for our anniversary dinner. Our room was very comfortable and the turn-down service very nice. Really enjoyed the nightly goodies and poem. Location was perfect - within walking distance to the square and shopping. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. The hotel staff were at our beck and call! This small boutique hotel was a highlight of our cross country drive. What service!! The rooms were comfortable and clean. We were facing the street and there was virtually no noise in the room. They have a great wine selection, cozy library and hot tub (only seats 4). The only negative was the restaurant. […] Quite pricey so we only ate one breakfast there and it wasn't memorable. But with so many other options just a 4 or 5 block walk away, that wasn't an issue for us. And did I mention the service? My husband and I first stayed at the Rusty Parrot 10 years ago, on our honeymoon. Even though it is a bit pricey, we decided to splurge and return to celebrate our 10-year anniversary! It was certainly worth the extra money. If you can afford it, stay here and make sure to get an amazing massage in the Body Sage Spa! Jackson Hole is beautiful and wonderful, […] and coming back each evening to our blissful room was perfect.
