Overall, hotel rooms were very clean, and beds were very comfortable. Quiet. But the stairs and walkways upstairs were old and in need of repairs, we tripped several times but nothing serious. I would definately stay there again as it was close to family (who live there), close to everything we wanted.

My wife and I were quite satisfied. The hotel premises are generally well kept and attractive, room was spacious and clean, and continental breakfast was about the usual. Pleasant manager. We would stay there again if the occasion arose.

We only stayed one night as we passed through, but were quite pleased. The room was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. We especially enjoyed meeting other travelers as they'd sit on the benches outside of the rooms to visit.

The motel is old, it was pretty noisy, the lobby was very crowded; therefore unable to have the continental breakfast offered by the motel....If ever in Montrose again we will not stay at Black Canyon Motel....

It is an older motel, but it was clean and comfortable and extremely convenient. And it was a great deal. I would stay there again. Very convenient to Black Canyon National Park, which is a great destination!

Very inexpensive and clean motel. A great stay for the money. Our room was very comfortable, actually with a cute patio outside of it. Table and chairs, king size bed, good mirrors. Had a great breakfast, better than just donuts and juice. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Great value for money charged. It was better than expected for the cost. An older facility but it was clean and very well maintained. The only real negative was that the bed was a little springy. Easy access to highways and restaurants. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is not the Ritz, but is a good basic hotel at a fair price. The room was clean and larger than average. A little dated, but not at all ratty. Comfortable bed and decent furnishings. I would compare it favorably to a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western, etc., and for a little less money. This is a nice hotel for the price. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but is was very clean and not noisey at all (probably due to the nice air conditioner unit doubling as 'white noise'). Overall it was a comfortable stay without any issues and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the motel.

I have stayed at the BC many times, but this is my first review. John is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are modest but always clean. If you need anything, someone is always available to help you. Overall a great place to stay for the money. Check out the golf packages.
