"Holiday Inn?"

Did call and asked for breakfast for three when I made reservations and again when confirming the reservation. I did not write down the names of the people...will next time! "Hotel prior to Cruising"
The Courtyard is a nice hotel with van service to the Cruise Port Everglades. It's also within walking distance to the Fishing Hall of Fame and Bass Pro shop. The room was clean but rather plain, front desk service was excellent and they do a pretty good job of getting everyone to the cruise port. The lobby was packed with people waiting to head to […] the Cruise port, so there was a lot of waiting, but they did get everyone onboard and delivered! The lobby breakfast is nice but there was a line of people throughout the morning and eating space was limited. All in all, a great place for a one night stay prior to cruising. This hotel exceeded our expectations. Very friendly staff, timely airport shuttle, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was a little pricey ($30.00 for 3) but very good. We had a great stay, however beware of the taxi service the receptionist calls. Do not accept " All Star" as that particular service charges twice as much as a regular "777" taxi. "Clean and Convenient"
We stayed at this hotel after a cruise. Although they offer a shuttle service to and from the airport, our flight was too early. The hotel desk said they would have a cab for us at 4:30 AM. When we went down to the lobby at 4:15 AM the cab was waiting. No worries. The hotel is located about 10 minutes away from the airport and 15 minutes from the cruise […] terminal. The hotel is located right across from the Tri Rail commuter station for Ft. Lauderdale Airport. So, it is VERY convenient if you use Tri Rail from anywhere. I like trains, so I loved it. This hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport 15 minutes from A1A N. Ocean Dr. And 25 minutes from South Beach. It took away all of the stress of arrival/check in. As long as prices are reasonable, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I normally complain. Gorgeous lobby and very friendly staff. We were bitten by bed bugs. Not something you would expect in this caliber of a hotel. The A/C was a joke & the staff knew about it-they told me to turn it way down-which only helped slightly. I can assure you if we did receive a complaint we have an extremely thorough bed bug action plan in place to correct any issues. As you are aware, bed bugs are on the rise in the country and the species is brought into hotels through increased domestic and international travel. Again, we have been fortunate at the property, but Marriott as a company takes a proactive approach with dealing with this issue and our staff is fully trained on identifying this insect. In addition, we service our AC units on a regular basis and I am sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with the unit in your room. In general, Marriott Courtyard hotels are a great choice. This particular one has a parking problem due to the surrounding restaurants. Also, and this seems to apply to all the Courtyards, the associates do not have the ability to send and receive emails. Stayed here prior to boarding cruise ship. Very nice and clean hotel. Picked this primarily for the convenience of the free shuttle to/from the airport and to/from the cruise port. When we got to the airport, we called the hotel for pick up and were at the hotel in less than 20 min. They took us to the cruise port the next day and dropped us off right […] at the ship. This hotel was in a terrible location and had nothing to do or see besides bass pro shop. They told me that transportation from the cruise port and airport were included but it is only to the airport and cruiseport.
